| I'm always worried about booking a hotel sight unseen but was pleasingly surpised. This was an extremely nice facility for the money. It was about a 10 minute drive from the airport but the shuttle pick-up from the airport was the reason I went with this hotel and I wasn't disappointed. We only used it as a stayover for our flight home the next day but they have everything you need--a couple of restuarants/bar and everything was great! The only complaint my husband had was that the remote didn't have any batteries!!!

| Stayed there two separate nights -- at the beginning of my trip and end of it. Both times our room smelled like lyson (most likely to cover up some other stench). No comfortable beds -- seemed like they came from a second hand store. Bed comforter had stains. Walls were paper thin.

| I found the shuttle convenient. The room was noisy. There was a shhhhhhhhhhing sound in the bathroom until midnight. Reported it but no one fixed it. Food was expensive and not very good. All in all, I was not impressed with this hotel.

| some travellers I was with had trouble with the hotel staff, getting locked out of their rooms and having messed-up bookings. the hotel advertised internet availability and this was not actually there. i found my room clean and comfortable and personally didn't have trouble. though i would have liked the internet availability.

| I felt like this hotel was nowhere near worthy of the price I paid for it. The breakfast was just bacon and eggs and they wanted $20 for it, so I tried walking to the town of Crawley, but it took 20 minutes of hills just to reach a convenience store. Also, the faucets were really irritating, with hot water coming out one side and cold the other, so you were being frozen or scalded. Then I roasted all night because there is no air conditioning, and you can hear the superhighway next to your window if you leave it open. I wouldn't go back.

| The hotel catered to the business clientele with conference-style rooms and a business ambience. There is not an elevator to the next floor which made it very difficult to navigate the stairs with several pieces of large luggage.

| We were pleased to see the shuttle as soon as we exited the airport. The check-in was quick and although they had not put a baby cot in the room as requested they had gotten the hide-away bed ready and brought a cot within minutes of our check-in. We ordered room service which was good with the exception that we had to request Tomato Sauce for our fries, glasses & ice for our warm bottle of water. They were very quick to rectify the situation.

| This hotel, when compared to hotels in USA may appear run down and old, but then, old it is. The Eruopean feel of this place I found to be charming. If you are looking for modern luxury, maybe not the best choice for you. But If you are looking for a true European feel, this hotel was wonderful.

| The only thing to recommend about this hotel is the $ rate and the free shuttle to and from Gatwick Airport. The room was noisy, the floor would have been more comfortable than the beds, and the shower went from scalding hot to freezing cold while it was turned on.

| Not good for an airline traveller without a car. This place is 10 min taxi from Crawley, and the only thing that it is near is the freeway. I have been in worst places but this is not a 3 plus star. Very unpersonal

| We were in two different rooms of this hotel and both appeared to have very dirty cover linens on the bed. The wood in the bathroom was rotting and the floor was either very dirty or very stained. In one bathroom broken tile from the wall was scattered on the floor. In the bedroom there was gum stuck to the ceiling. This was the cheapest hotel I found near Gatwick airport, but I think paying a bit more would have been worth it.

| The hotel grounds were nice, and the hotel is located one exit from Gatwick Airport. The hotel was fairly clean except for a little mold in the shower. This hotel could use a facelift. The furnishings were well worn, including the mattress. I was expecting better quality for a three star rating.

| Ok the hotel's appearance was decent, the shuttle was awesome, the room itself was not that great...lights with no bulbs, coffee pot that didn't work, not that great of a mattress -- nothing close by to this place and a minimum of a 7 pound taxi ride to anywhere worthwhile. HOWEVER if you are just crashing for a night before flying out of Gatwick and the price is cheap enough go for it

| This hotel was pretty much what you would expect from one catering to airport visitors. The prices were affordable, and the free shuttle was prompt and efficient--we only had to wait about 10 minutes at the airport, and the hotel schedules the shuttle so that you'll get back to the airport in plenty of time. The room was rather small, however, and the hallways quite dark and convoluted! There is a bar, which is handy, but it was a bit chilly and not very inviting. Short walk (about 15-20 mins) to town, where there is a pub and a chip shop, post office... Quite useful if you don't have a car.
