| The hotel was in a near perfect location. An easy walk to all attractions - Fisherman's Wharf, The Cannery, North Beach, Chinatown, etc. The concierge staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room (2 Queen beds) was a little cramped, but comfortable.

| My overall impression was very positive. The general appearance of the lobby and other public areas was comfortable and pleasant. The rooms were an adequate size and very well taken care of. The staff were all eager to help and responded quickly to requests. If you drive, be prepared for the daily parking charge of $38.00.

| Location was great...with-in walking distance of everything along the wharf, yet located in a quiet area. Hotel staff was polite, professional, and accommodating. Hotel room was not overly large yet more than adequate, we had 2 adults and a teenager in one room so we were testing the space issue!! The best though are the beds...mega comfortable!!! We walked all day long and to come back to those comfy beds at night was a real treat! We stayed for 4 nights and I wouldn't even research other places if we go again, I would stay there without hesitation.

Hotel was very nice.Only complaint is that they should be more effecient in cleaning up and picking up trays that are left outside rooms. We saw one for almost 24 hours without pickup..

| If you're visiting San Francisco and want to enjoy the tourism you definitely have to stay near Fisherman's Wharf. The Marriott was convenient to get to the ferry at the wharf and just as convenient to walk to the North Bank for an authentic italian dinner. The concierge was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable.

| We've stayed in several hotels in different locations since our son went to college in SF and this was THE best, hands down. The rooms were wonderfully comfortable with down comforters and feather beds, very quiet (ask for a room NOT on Columbus Ave), and the staff was friendly and helpful. GREAT fitness center to work off the excellent meals in the surrounding restaurants (didn't try the hotel dining but the lobby bar was nice) There's also a Starbucks java spot in the lobby. The location, just a few blocks from Fisherman's Wharf, Coit Tower, North Beach food & drink establishments and the SF Art Institute was perfect. All in all, it was definitelythe best value lodging we've ever had in SF and I'd give it a two thumbs up!

| We picked this hotel because it was close to the Fisherman's Wharf, and because after going on and looking at reports from other visitors and finding they were pleased with it, we went with the Mariott. We weren't disappointed. It was a very nice room with a great comfy bed. It also had people who were willing to help us out with things to do and places to go. We encountered rain and they were great about how to get to places with the least amount of hassle. We signed on for the shuttle to the airport and everything went like clockwork. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional time.

| This Marriott property is located 2 blocks from Fisherman's Wharf. The locale is great as you not only have a plethora of activities to choose from but you are mere minutes away from some of the freshest seafood available. Sure there are plenty of tacky souvenir shops and expensive shops but you can catch the cable cars to the downtown area with no hassle. Also, Grayline Tours and the ferrys are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is good. Rooms were typical but the beds are to die for. Imagine being surrounded in the comfort of down all around - simply heavenly. You have Starbucks coffee in the room, plus there is a kiosk in the lobby. The rooms were clean, not old or worn looking, and the maids were very pleasant and accomodating to your every wish. We had an 'outside' room which meant it faced the street - the window was well insulated and we had no problems with noise, except for the day we were leaving: construction was tearing up the street/sidewalk right below our window. I would have been very irritated had I been staying longer. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. The concierge in the lobby willing to make your every wish come true. We didn't dine at the restaurant but it looked clean and well staffed. Also, the bar and lobby were very comfy and inviting. My only complaint was, as a smoker, the entire property is smoke-free.

| All the reviews are right! Great location! Can walk to the Wharf, North Beach, Cable Car pickup, the tours office, Hertz (rent a car for your day trips to Napa, Santa Cruz and return it then you don't have to pay for overnight parking), UPS to ship all the stuff we bought, the bike rental office, etc. Great beds, great conceirge - let them book all your tours/dinner reservations, great staff, breakfast buffet a good deal and good food, bar drinks too expensive. This hotel has everything you need - sundry shop, exercise room, washer you can use, business center - use their PCs for free. We "did" the City and highlight was the bike ride over the GGBridge. But not for small kids - it is pretty rigorous. Do this city in offseason.

The room was great and by far the most comfortable bed we have ever had in a hotel (even more comfortable than our own bed at home)- You just sink right in. The location was great, walked to Fishermans Wharf daily with lots of good restaurants conveniently near by. We would definitely stay there again.

| The hotel had a very nice lobby with a seating area by the fireplace. Noise level wasn't bad even though there was a resaurant and bar attached to the lobby. But the beds were the star of the show! Feather beds, feather pillows and the other kind, and a down comforter to complete the set. I slept like a baby and will definatly go back. The consierge in the morning was nearly as personable and helpful as the one when I checked into the hotel but hopefully that was just one person.

| My brother and I stayed at the Marriott Fisherman's Wharf over the Labor Day holiday weekend. We were pleaseantly surprised. This was our first trip to San Francisco and everyone had warned us about staying so close to Fisherman's Wharf (it's a tourist trap....too crowded and noisy....tacky, etc...). But the hotel was located just far enough from the crowds and noise yet within walking distance from just about everything. We were surprised how chilly the location was though, but I hear that's the norm for the late summer, so I just bought a fleece jacket from one of the many vendors in the area, at a very good price. Overall a great hotel in a fun part of the city. I highly recommend the Marriott Fisherman's Wharf.

We will definitely stay there again on our return to San Francisco.

From the walk into the lobby , to calling for a wakeup call, no one seemed put out by any request and they really seemed liked they enjoyed their jobs. If someone enjoys their job, then it makes your stay happier. And as their saying goes "WIT" (whatever it takes). The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the employees were great..What more do you want on vacation ?

Employees were very accommodating and apologetic when we asked to change rooms because of a crying baby in the joining room next door. Our second room was very quiet. We enjoyed the pillow top mattress and comforters on the beds-truly a bonus. The location was perfect for enjoying San Francisco's attractions-restaurants, comedy clubs, cable cars and ferries, etc. Would stay here again and will recommend it to friends.
