| We went on our honeymoon and really enjoyed the service and comfort of the hotel. The views of the mountain and creek were phenomenal. Their in-house restaurant was top notch and the spa was incredible. We had a very romantic and lovely time. Also, the resort's ski shop owner was very helpful and gave me a great deal on rentals!

| They have a movie theater, sauna/pools, inside basketball, free inside parking lots, good restaurants, timely transportation system between ski bases and villages. They had a good house keeping as well and were small pets friendly.

| This hotel had friendly staff, was very comfortable, and was ideally located for the vast ski resort of Vail. The ski-concierge facilities were very good located right next to a barely used ski-lift. Getting back from other slopes was catered for by a free shuttle service running every 15 minutes until late. How many hotels in Vail area can boast a two screen cinema, car-park, and massive indoor sports complex and spa for such a price?" The only negatives included noise from the corridors - using metal doors for the rooms is not a great idea for sound insulation - and decorative condition of the room was 'average' and not really up to standard for a 4 star hotel such as this. The restaurant 'Chaps' is noisy and expensive - there are far better ones in downtown Vail. These were minor points though. The service of the staff was flawless and extremely friendly, and I rank this one of the best overall hotels in the area. We looked at hotels in Vail, Beaver Creek and even as far away as Aspen,m but nothing represented better value.

| Lobby and common areas are very decent. Rooms are large and comfortable. Renovation (not sure when) was alright but could have spent a few more $ on the rooms.

| I think the best part of the hotel was that our room was two doors down from the exit...and on the other side of the exit was the ski-lift base. Thirty steps max. Unbelievable.

| the only complaint I have is the noise in the hallways. I realize that this is hard to control. People were letting their kids run up and down the halls at all times of the night and grown people were talking so loud and screaming up to 1:30 am at night. People just don't have any consideration for others. We love the hotel and will come back with no problem. The concierge service was fantastic and everything they planned for us ran real smooth. They were always helpful.

| This hotel located in the Cascade village is just a short shuttle ride (which run very often) to LIons Head or the Village. It is beautiful with an amazing steakhouse, Chaps. It has its own ski lift steps outside... you can rent skis there and they store and warm them!! The staff was all wonderful and attentive. We will definitely stay there again in the future. They have an beautiful spa where I enjoyed a great massage, along with a health club and even a movie theatre! Don't pass this great hotel up!!

| The hotel was very good and accommodating. Guests need to know that if you self-park, it's free; if you valet, it's $18/day. Parking is very easy. The business center offers internet access, but there is no printer. If you need to print boarding passes, have someone at home print for you and fax to the hotel for free. Otherwise, if the concierge prints for you it is $1/page. The food is good, but many other hotels in Vail offer a free breakfast buffet for their guests. This one did not, but they had a nice selection of breakfast items. I would stay here again!

| Hotel refers to itself as "ski-in, ski-out", and the ski-in part of that equation is dubious. Hotel has an awful smell, which seems to be a cleaning product. Room service was extremely late, cold, unedible. New Years Eve Pix Fix dinner was extremely expensive, which is fine if the food is good. It was ghastly. This hotel is not up to 4 star standard.

| We truly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The food in the hotel's restaurant 'Chap's Grill & Chophouse' was excellent, especially the breakfast buffet. The free self parking extended to the guests is noticeable, given that parking is at a premium in Vail! And the hotel's free shuttle makes it all very easy. The only complaint we had was about the poor insulation against noise that allowed us to hear the TV next door a little too clearly (we shared a door with the next room).
