| We would stay at Comfort Suites again, our room was small but nice. We appreciated having a refrigerator and microwave, and the breakfast was fabulous. Our room was on the backside which was as far from the lobby as one could get. Therefore we did not get internet access in our room. We specifically chose this hotel because they had free wireless internet, so this was disappointing. Don't count on having internet in your room. The hotel service was average, as was the cleanliness of the room. The bed was too soft. We returned to our room one day and housekeeping hadn't latched our door shut, so our room had been open all day. Fortunately, all our belongings were intact. The location of the hotel was in a very safe neighborhood with little activity and was very quiet. One exception - on two mornings, union protesters woke us up at 7 a.m. The shuttle service to the airport was continuous and regular, we utilized this daily to take the BART train in to the city. That was very convenient. We have high praise for the city's public transportation system, it was very easy to navigate for first-time travelers to San Francisco. There is a Wendys, Starbucks, and gas station within walking distance to the hotel. For the affordable price, it was definitely worth it for the budget or business traveler.

| Hotel was clean, comfortable, good breakfast and had easy access to the freeway. Protestors only bothered once, but not to the point of making us leave or changing our minds about staying there again. We will definitely stay there again in the future. It was also very affordable! Thank you!

| Convenient location. The microwave and fridge were an added bonus. Can catch the shuttle to the airport to take the BART into town, or if driving, it is right off the 101 into town. Perfect for those who need a place to sleep at night and tour SanFrancisco and on down the coast during the day!

| My husband, son, and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. We stayed here last year as well, and feel the hotel is a good value for the money. The room was clean, the service was good, the towels and pillows were extremely high quality, and the breakfast was enjoyable and plentiful. If you are looking for a good value in the San Francisco area, this is the place.

| Hotel is near freeways, Bart, airport. Rooms are quiet nevertheless. I have stayed here a couple of times as I spend almost no time at the hotel. It is clean and safe. Parking is tight but free. The staff is helpful despite what other reviews say. The microwave, fridge, coffee maker are appreciated. The pull out couch was not needed but was a disaster if you really needed it. Check you room first. The continental breakfast is good and well stocked. Bottom line: good for the price.

| we were very satisfied with our stay at comfort suites. the south san francisco bart station was pretty close to the hotel - access into the city using public transportation (no parking worries) was a major concern. free parking was a requirement. other than that, we just wanted somewhere to stay that was decent, clean, and where we felt safe. we weren't planning to spend much time in the hotel (otherwise, what's the point of traveling?), and therefore, didn't want to spend much on the room. we weren't even expecting a microwave and refrigerator. it was perfect for what we were looking for.

| Location is convenient to SFO, SF and US 101 and price is OK. Basic maintenance on room was lacking. Although a clean room, the air conditioning/heater air filter was not maintained and contaminated the room at night with mold or other particulate material that was a respiratory irritant. I didn't run the unit after the first night. Room had coffee maker, but glass pot in maker didn't match the filter holder, so coffee wouldn't drain into the pot. You had to manually trip the holder drain with your finger to get coffee out into a cup. When I filed a maintenance request at the desk, the desk manager seemed well aware of the problems, but left the impression that these were long-standing or recurring problems that were common in the complex and only being slowly addressed if at all. My next trip to SF won't include a stay at this motel.

| The Hotel is showing some age, esp. carpet and unpainted ceiling damage. Refrig. and TV remote didn't work both were replaced in timely manner w/ no complaints. Near freeway, but room was pretty quiet. Breakfast was ok, large but nothing special. Overall for the price - it was fair.

| Hotel is in good shape. Close to airport & free shuttle. We got in late and left at 4:30 am, so we just needed a place to shower and sleep. Print a map if you are not familiar with the area.

| We stayed here for 4 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday and were very pleased. The staff was excellent and very helpful; the room was nice and clean; housekeeping did a great job; parking was no problem at any time; the courtyard area was very clean and well maintained; the continental breakfast was very good and well stocked at all times. We would definately stay at this hotel again. Very close to airport and easy on and off the freeway!!

| Stayed at this hotel for a week Bad points - The couch bed was broken, the outside grounds were somewhat messy. Good points - The location was great, very convenient to freeway, the maid service was very good. The hot tub was very large and clean and in a nice setting outside. No cocktail lounge, the breakfast bar was decent, but get there early. For the price a pretty good deal.

| San Francisco is veynice city but dirty, so we can't expect more from the hotels. It's not that bad. But if you wanna stay in good hotel, you have to pay a lot. So you got what you pay ;-)) Next time I wish I can stay in Sausalito or other nice towns around the city. They are very nice ;-)))

| This hotel was OK for my husband and me because we spent most of our time enjoying SF!! we were out early in the morning adn we would return later at night so I have no complains. Our room was clean,the bed was comfy, they have a really fast check in and check out so, what more could we ask for?

| I have stayed here several times and enjoy being freeway close next the airport and just a 10 minute ride into downtown San Francisco. Rooms and bed are nice size with a sleeper sofa, only drawback is no pool just a hot tub.

| The hotel is easy to find near the 101 freeway. The shuttle to the airport is nice and comfortable. The driver was courteous and helpful with our luggage. I appreciate the free parking for a week. I will stay here again when I fly out of SFO. Thanks.

| It was ok for a quick stay if I need to be close to the airport. It shows signs of a little needed TLC in the upkeep/appearance in the rooms. The carpet and smell in the elevator was less than appealing.

| Good breakfast. Room and surroundings were in need of a renovation. All the amenities were in working order, but the wireless internet access was slow. It is a 2 min drive to the South SF town centre where there are a few restaurants, laundry, etc. There was also a bit of noise from planes flying overhead.

| The hotel is right next to the freeway so its 10 mins to downtown, and very quiet during the day or night. The room is spacious with a refrigerator and microwave and its all in the package deal. Breakfast is served every day, and free internet in the lobby with a printer!

| You can't beat the price, but don't expect too much. It is an older hotel with some work that needs to be done. On the positive side, the parking is free and so is the breakfast. The negative is that the toilet ran constantly and the mattress was well worn. When in the San Fran area, most people don't spend a lot of time in room, so I would recommend this hotel for an inexpensive stay.

| Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Close to the airport with free shuttle bus. Free parking and free breakfast of muffins, juice, toast, coffee, etc. Very close to 101 providing easy access to San Francisco and San Jose. 10-15 minutes drive to downtown. | The suite was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The tv worked well. The wireless internet functioned flawlessly once I got it going, and the telephone support was great. The free continental breakfast sucked. If you got there early, as I did the first day, there was enough, but if you got there later, as I did on the second day, there weren't enough chairs to sit down on, and they kept running out of things. The wait was so long to get what little food was left, I gave up and ate elsewhere. Other similar hotels offer waffles and eggs, but this was just rolls, cold cereal, packaged oatmeal, juice and coffee. Pretty marginal fare.

| If you are looking for a "fancy hotel", this isn't it, but if you are looking for a good deal on a nice, clean hotel you've found it here! It is clean, the staff was SO HELPFUL & it was conveniently located. The continental Breakfast was nice & we also used the hot tub, which was clean and nice & hot!!

| I stayed 3 nights over a weekend. I like things to look neat, clean, and new. The outside, and lobby looked neat, clean, and new. The rooms, stairwells, etc....looked neat, relatively clean, but not new. Here goes some little critiques: One of two bulbs in bathroom fixture went out occasionally, I called front desk on first day. It was never fixed all weekend. The bathroom (and room) had a strong mildew smell. I called the frontdesk on the first evening, and like the bulbs was told it would be taken care of. It was not. I complained again about the mildew, and was assured that it would be taken care of, but I never gave them chance. I went and bought some bleach and cleaned the bathroom curtain and floor myself. (It solved the problem.) Like I said, the room was neat, and clean, but not completely "new looking" (ex. small chipped paint here and there, and couch not so clean..) Also, parking was very tight...but it was not a big problem. Note, they never offered to change my room. If I had not solved the smell problem (a big deal for me), I would have been very dissatisfied.

| One of the "extras" that Comfort Sites touts in their advertising is the free breakfast. You will only get breakfast if you show up at 6:30 am, or are very persistant. The breakfast area is very small and there is very limited seating. We ended up standing trying to eat Cheerios. The hotel is fine, but don't use the free breakfast as a signifigant element in your decision making.
