| For what little we paid, this couple was very impressed with the very private beachfront property on Lido Key, just steps from our room. So close to St. Armands Circle for shopping. The 1970's decor could be updated but hotel rates would be sky high. Just a great value for a relatively beach getaway on the gulf.

| I reserved the least expensive room I could and got a gulf front room on the bottom floor! It was the best view! The room was comfortable. I had to call maintance to fix the shower drain but they came right away. Great location! Would absolutly stay there again!!

| You can't beat the location and the features of this hotel - it's right on the beach, has lush landscaping with palm tress swaying in the breeze, a great little pool bar, a restaurant and room service, and numerous games and rentals for entertainment. I stayed in a 1st floor handicap accessible room even though I'm not handicapped. The living area and bathroom were quite large - but they could definitely use some updates. The bed had obvious "sinkholes" on each side, the main room light was two old fluorescents on the ceiling and the bathroom window and vents were far from clean. Also, I would probably request a top floor room next time so I didn't hear the ceiling creaking as people above me walked around. These issues weren't deal breakers obviously - I stayed here for 3 nights and was very comfortable. And the staff were very friendly and accommodating to requests. But don't go there expecting a 4 star hotel - the 2.5 star rating is accurate and fair. It's a nice place for budget travelers and for low maintenance people like me who just wanted to get away to the beach. I would definitely stay here again...

| Hotel was a little dated but very clean. Most rooms have an excellent view of the Gulf. Food service was average but we did enjoy ourselves at the outside bar. I would go back. The beach is amazing.

| This hotel is an old facility. The bathroom had mold and mildew on the tile and the wallpaper was stained and needed replaced. Faucets were pitted. We had stayed there a few years ago and thought by now they would have renovated. Only 4 king beds available overall. Our mattress in the double was sagged on one side. Furniture had holes in the wicker in the room. The dinette sets in the coffee shop were very worn - tattered material and paint worn off of the wood. It was clean and we did get a non smoking room as requested. Our balcony was nice and had a nice view of the courtyard with the ocean in the backround. Ate breakfast there and food was good.
