In spite of several conferences with many attendees going on during our visit it was quiet and relaxing. Hotel staff was pleasant, and Sunday brunch was wonderful and well attended by locals as well as guests. Rooms are very comfortable with lots of homey touches and have exterior as well as interior entrances. I would stay here again.

We got in at night and the lobby did look creepy more than cozy. But the rooms were fine (first night no heat), the sauna and pool and hot tub were very clean, front desk people were very nice, and as an added bonus, Foghat happened to be staying there at the same time and treated our group to Play that Funky music White Boy on the piano (until asked to stop hotel staff)

Our visit to this hotel was excellent. All the staff were courteous and the hotel was gorgeous. They have an excellent breakfast buffet and the room was spacious and very clean. If ever in Vermont again, we would stay here without a doubt!

I loved all the fireplaces, the games area and friendly staff. Nothing was a problem and everyone had a smile. I would warn other customers to be prepared for the old folks smell in the rooms but apart fron that i would totally recommend this hotel to other travelers. will defo go back for more.

Check in was easy--got a corner room with a king-size bed. It was obviously an old-hotel, but pretty well kept. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, and also got the vermont country breakfast one morning, which was an awesome buffet! worth the 8 bucks! Had an okay dessert in Theo's Tavern, but never made it to Zola's except for the breakfast. We had a fun time wandering around and just relaxing in the room. Didn't get time to explore the grounds or go ice skating, but there is always next time. The distance from Killington was satisfactory. There is some good stuff on the US Route before heading up to killington access road. It's def. a good, inexpensive alternative to on-the-mountain lodging.

Very nice atmosphere. Several sitting areas each with a fireplace making you feel right at home. Two nice recreational areas one with games for the kids and one with a pool table and tv next to the lounge downstairs. The resturaunt/breakfast area was very nice with a good selection for breakfast, and a chef preparing omletts. Each room has a loaded bookshelf. There is a nice "Reading Room" upstairs with more books, table and chairs, games, puzzles, microwave, computer with internet.

Walls are paper thin.....can hear everything going on above you (children running around like horses) and voices carry tremendously ouside your door with people just passing through the hallways or visitors in the room next door. Got very little sleep b/c of this and was up early as well. Glad we only booked 2 nights. Also, this hotel is further away from Killington Mtn as I was lead to believe.

Overall while in Killington this is a decent place to stay, all be it a little tired. The room had an unusual smell and the bathroom wasn't as clean as it could be. Pets I believe are allowed as we saw some and someone hadn't cleaned up after one (outside path to our room). The indoor pool was very nice and clean.

The Cortina Inn was a nice place to stay. It had charm, and everything was clean and in working condition. However, it wasn't quite as fantastic as we had expected based on the website. It was just a bunch of little things, like a lame showerhead, a bad ironing board, air conditioning that only sort of worked...none of it was major, but just little annoyances. Overall it was a good experience and a good price, just not the dream "resort" we had envisioned.

I do like the Cortina, the room was very large, neat and clean. Looked nice but the King size bed was the hardest thing I every sleept on. The floor would be just as comfortable. I did tell the front desk, they said they had some new beds. (Not yet brooken in I guess). Will come back and ask for a not so new bed.

The room was great for four people, with two seperate rooms, a porch, and allowing the dog was the best feature. The three different fireplace sitting areas made for a relaxing time, conjoined with complimentary cookies and hot chocolate. We could have satyed all week.
