This hotel is conveniently located near the center of town. You could actually walk to quite a few stores and restaurants. Very clean and nice big bathrooms. The only thing I didn't like is that we were on the second floor and had to carry up our luggage.

Why? Location, location, location! It's right around the corner from relatives. But it is also very charming, has a wonderful heated outdoor pool and spa. I like the courtyard rooms because its easy to slip out to the pool/spa. The free bottle of wine is nice; the continental breakfast is nothing to write home about. Nice lobby. They were VERY busy when we stayed there and could have used more help at the front desk. Lucky I was not in a rush.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I reserved a room here only because it was the only place I could find in Sonoma/Napa since I waited to long to look for a hotel. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and very spacious. It's nothing fancy but for only $115 a night I'd rather take the money I saved and spend it on a more expensive dinner or wine. The location is great too, only 2 blocks from the Plaza.

Older hotel that has been refurbished with a fireplace in each room. Beautiful interior patio landscaping. Close to downtown. Very good value. The hotel offers a continental breakfast, which is brought to the room, but is bare-bones minimum with no effort on the food or presentation.

My wife and I loved this hotel. It's within an easy walk to all of Sonoma's plaza and restaurants and an easy drive to the wineries. The complimentary wine was decent and the fireplace in the room was wonderful. The staff was very good and responded quickly when some loud moron used the hot tub well after hours.

This hotel is conviently located in the Sonoma area, and was a good base for our activities. Our room was a little small, and the furnitire and fixtures show some wear. However, it was clean, the beds confortable, and our room was quite despite the hotel being full.

This hotel was a good bargain, and the location can't be beat--right around the corner from the town square where there are lots of cafes and shops. Although there are plenty of much more upscale hotels in the area, if you are looking for a moderately priced hotel in a great location, this is it.

This was a great place to stay. Continental breakfast delivered was a nice touch - also coffee, tea, hot chocolate and pastries available in the lobby. The room was spacious - fireplace was a bonus since we went in January and had some rain. We had a great time touring the wineries. The hotel is in a great location - we took our dog and they were very accomodating - there's even a pet walking area. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone going to the Napa or Sonoma area.

The hotel is just around the corner from Sonoma Plaza. The room we got was spacious, a little out dated and no view or light, but the room and bathroom were both clean. The room smelled a little like smoke whenever we walked in, but it may have been because of the fireplace. The fireplace was a nice touch. It was also great to have a fridge in the room with the complimentary bottle of wine - only the wine was awful. It was also nice that they delivered breakfast to the room - very basic pastry or bagel with fruit, but you only get 1 fruit and you can't choose what type of fruit.

This hotel was perfectly located, the room was spacious (complete with fireplace and balcony in the standard room), and the little extras like the welcome bottle of Sonoma wine and the continental breakfast delivered to the room each morning were nice touches. It seemed as though the hotel staff went out of their way to make a standard motor-inn style of hotel a special place to stay.

Generally very good, although the lighting was terrible in the vanity area, and the room was dark. Trees around the pool and garden area were lovely. The place was quiet (even though it was a holiday weekend), and everything downtown was in easy walking distance.

Being 2 blocks from the Sonoma Plaza is hard to beat! The hotel's courtyard with pool, jacuzzi and seating area was very nice, and the flowers in and around the hotel were beautiful. The rooms were a little less impressive -- ours showed signs of repair where someone had painted semi-gloss paint on top of flat paint. But they were comfortable and fairly spacious. I'd definitely go back and use it as a base for exploring more of the Sonoma area.
