| The people are really friendly... It helps ALOT if you know some Spanish. I'd recommend it to anyone going down to Orlando. The only problem was we had 2 bugs, during the 6 days we were there. The restaurant in the hotel was really good and the drinks were AWESOME!!

| You can see the hotel has a potential. The property is old and did not have maintenance lately. The rooms are large and comfortable but need upgrade. The air-conditioning that is so important in Orlando was so noisy you cannot sleep at all. We had to turn it off for the night. The restaurant was nice and the Starbursts café very handy.

| I arrived at 2:00 morning after a 4 hour drive from Miami with a toddler and a baby. I was so disappointed with the this Hotel ( If you like the Motel feel this is the hotel for you!!! It gave me the creaps!! I didn't even want to use the bathroom! I booked with another Hotel the following morning.

| I read other reviews before choosing this hotel. The hotel was comfortable and in a good location. We stayed in the "older" section which was comfortable enough. We had 2 queen beds, and a small refrigerator which came in handy for snacks. We wanted to go swimming in the hotel pool, which looked very nice, but was closed due to "circumstances beyond our control" whatever that means. The front desk was friendly and the grounds were clean. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and stay here again.

| The room was large and had a fresh clean linen smell (not very typical for hotels with outside corridor access). Staff was helpful. Pool was exactly as pictured. Large with plenty of lounge chairs and towels. Overall a nice stay. Would go back.

| my husband and I enjoyed our stayed at Barcelo very much. service was good, hotel was clean, and it had a great location. the only problem we had was we had a very early flight and I had requested a wake up call for 3:45 am, we never got it and we overslept and had to rush to leave to the hotel

| My family and I stayed for a short trip and I got a really good deal so I was kind of nervous after reading a couple of so-so reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a very clean room, nice pool and grounds. Our maid service was good and when we called for extra towels - they arrived only a few minutes later. Terrific for families and close to everything. Will definitely go back. Extremely pleased.

| Had a pleasant stay in this hotel while visiting Orlando. Room was clean, comfortable beds and great location. Parks and Restaurants are close by. For a budget conscious traveler - it's a good deal.

| The hotel has a nice pool, and it is close to the attractions, but it needs some cleaning and maybe some remodeling as well. The carpets inside the rooms are dirty, and the hallways are always wet because the AC units draining water all the time. I was there with some friends and was able to see 3 other rooms, and they all look the same. The service is good. I asked for a microwave, and it was there when I checked in. I asked for extra towels before going to the pool, and they were there when I came back. Therefore, I have to say that the service was good. The hotel is less than 10 minutes for Universal Studios, and right on International Dr. If you get a good deal on the price, and you are booking one or two nights only, go for it.

| My husband and I stayed one night. We will never stay at this hotel again. The price was cheap and that is exactly what you get. The toilet in the bathroom barely flushed and the stink was nasty. The bed did not have a fitted sheet on it. Kinda weird. The building we stayed was old and the room was too. Not sure if the rest of the rooms are like that, but I will not be going back to find out.

| We have stayed at other Radisson's and were satified with the rooms. However, this one was very dirty and not at all what we would have hoped for on a vacation. There was constant trash in the hall ways, the cans seemed to never get emptied and there was a very bad smell throughout. Our room was very bad. The carpet appeared to of never been vacummed and was stained very bad. Just for fun I actualy put on a new pair of white socks and walked form the door to the bathroom, black does not describe what was on the bottom! The blankets were a nightmare and the bathroom, well lets just say I would have preferred an outhouse. I could go on and on but I wont. I'm sure there are differant leveles of rooms but the one we got was very bad, stay away.

| The Radisson Barcelo Hotel is very nice -- we stayed in a deluxe room with the Sleep Number beds and they were very comfortable. We were a little disappointed with the housekeeping on a couple of days. Also, the toilet would run unless you pulled the handle up. I had a salad from the Cafe for dinner one evening and ended up sick the entire next day. The general manger was very understanding and offered us a free dinner on the house. The dinner was lovely, however, my friend became ill that evening and was up a good portion of the night. The morale of the story for us is don't eat the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, well-maintained and convenienty located to our destinations. Since there are so many other restaurants in the area, we would probably stay here again, just not eat at the hotel's restaurants.

| My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The sleep number bed was great! Make sure to ask for a deluxe room in newly renovated wing to make sure you get a clean room and a sleep number bed! The other side of the hotel looked old, but the deluxe wing was very nice. Staff was curteous and the pool was warm. Very close to Universal and Sea World, with many restaurants close by. I would stay here again.

| I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was great, the location was excellent for conducting business at the Convention Center, also close to eating establishments. Very convenient. I only had one issue - parking, there is not enough parking at this hotel. If you get in late your chances are slim to get a spot.

| We checked in a nice lobby thinking what a nice hotel only to find our room was filthy and was not at all the same room in the photos as seen on line.We called the night manager and reported the bugs crawling on the counters, stains on the carpet, mold in the bathroom, urine on the toilet,pubic hairs on the bathroom floor,mold on the AC unit and its loud roar when operating,he told us to come down to the lobby and hung up.I then called expedia to cancel our stay because of the dirty noisy room and the lack of customer service at the Radison Barcelo.When checking out I was still confronted with no apoligies, I was just told there were other rooms I could have moved to.Because of the age of the hotel I did not believe the manager could have presented a cleaner room.

| Everything was fine ... the room, the maintenance, the cleanliness of the room etc... but we couldn't sleep with the freeway noises in the night. Also , we heared loud noises when somebody drags their luggage on the extended place(patio) infront of room . But they have a nice features like pool, teenis court, and guest laundry too... guest laundry helps people who travel many days.

| First of all, they need to clean their A/C. As I was walking down the hall where the A/C fan is facing the hall, it smelled really bad. Hotel's front desk area is really neat, clean, and fairly new, but the hotel rooms were very old. They have nice pool and the fact the location is in the middle of all the Orlando attraction was somewhat satisfying.

| Water closet in the restroom was so dirty. The coffee maker was dirty. Coffee stain was visible and looks not been washed since the last time it was used. The one light bulb was broken. Even though we already requested in the front desk to replace the light bulb and clean the toilet and coffee maker no action were made on our resquest.

| The sleep number bed was amazing! Both my husband and I sleep like babies! The chair in the sitting area was so comfy I just wanted to take home! They had a nice deli style eatery near the lobby and a quite place to get a drink at the full service bar. Oh, and did I mention the Sleep Number Bed?!? Oops, yeah I did. Way to Barcel Hotel. We visit orlando about once every two month and we will be staying there from now on. - Thank you for a wonderful experience.

| As a frequent traveller, I've come to expect some standards for a hotel- Clean room, servicable bathroom, ammenities as advertised. I got none of these at the Radisson Barcelo. When I turned down my bed the first night, it was dirt--visibly dirty. To their benefit, though the maid service was gone for the day, someone did come up and change the sheets--but it was really gross to contemplate. The bathroom sinks were not in working order--one drained slowly and the other not at all. The stoppers were frozen, rusted in place, but I was able to free one up and get one sink cleaned out enough to shave in the morning. The hotel advertises wireless internet access for a fee, but this is in only one section of the hotel. If you are not in that section, you can pay to use the internet in the lobby or some other common areas. I was not at all impressed with the Radisson Barcelo-which really suprised me with a Radisson hotel. Normally they are pretty up-scale. This one I would not recommend to the business or vacation traveller.

| The elevator was not working in the building that I stayed at. The stairways smelled, not clean and that was the only way to go up and down to the room as it is a 5 story building. When the elevator was working it took to long for it to arrive at the floor you were in.

| When staying in this hotel alway get the deluxe rooms. The stantard rooms are a mess. My deluxe room had sleep number bed and where very clean and comfortable. the staff was very nice and helpful. I will be staying there again.

| I stayed at the newer wing of the hotel, which is to the right as you enter the lobby. The service was great very prompt. Room was very clean. No complaints at all. From reading other reviews, it looks like the other side needed some renovation. I can attest to that. I passed by it when using the pool, I didnt believe it was part of the Radisson Hotel.

| The appearance of this hotel is run-down, very much in need of some paint and updating. Beds were uncomfortable, and the tv was relatively small. It looked like there might have been some better alternatives in this price range elswhere along International Drive.
