| You would think that a hotel with the word "Airport" in it would make an effort to cater to the schedule of an airport traveler! Our flight arrived at 8am, and the staff was very unwavering on their 2pm check-in policy. Finally, after several efforts to get in before 2pm, they hesitantly contacted housekeeping to see if any rooms could be available before then. Finally, at 12:30pm, they managed to get us a room. In the meantime, we found a chair on the 8th (top) floor elevator room, and settled there for awhile to try to get some rest. Once we got our room, we were fine. It was is fairly good shape and was truly a non-smoking room (some non-smoking rooms still carry a hint of smoke that can bother someone with Asthma. This was not a problem in this hotel). The hotel is several miles from the Airport, but the shuttle is free. We would stay here again if our flight arrived in the afternoon. Otherwise we would spend a little extra to get a hotel that allows early check-ins.

| This hotel is in dire need of a make over. The lobby is not too bad, but the higher you go the worse it seems to get. We were on the 7th floor in a tiny room that didn't look likr it had ever been refurbished. The sheets were clean but this is about as good as it gets. There was traces of the previous occupants in the bathroom and bizarrely there was a fridge with a note on it saying that fridges are no longer in use in the hotel. Well take it out then! Other downers include fire doors with "keep locked at all times" notices on them, painfully slow elevators, tatty ironing boards in the corridor and the remains of a fish on a plate for the duration of our stay. Still there is a happy hour in the bar, so you could always get drunk and sleep through the entire experience.
