| These rooms are spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and it's a quiet hotel on a quiet street. One block away, there is every kind of shopping and excellent restaurants. The free breakfast was ideal, and inlcuded healthy choices each day like fruit, yogurt, granola, whole wheat toast. We chose this hotel because it's located at the intersection of two bike paths - the C&O canal towpath and the Rock Creek trail. There is a bike rack in the underground locked garage. With our kids it took about 10-15 minutes to bike to the monuments. There is a pricey daily parking charge. The front desk person at check-in was unpleasant, which gave a bad first impression, but the rest of the staff were extremely nice. The room was a little tired, and the kitchen is not intended for serious cooking, but with free breakfast and great restaurants nearby it served our needs perfectly. The free high speed internet, HBO/Showtime, and local calls are a nice touch. If you are looking for an elegant first-class hotel, or something really near the museums, this is not it. If you want a quiet, very comfortable LARGE apartment for a Georgetown-oriented or bike-riding stay, it's great.

| This place was great, the rooms are clean and huge. There is a free continental breakfast, which includes croissains, bagels, muffins, cereal, juices...etc. It's approximately 10 minutes walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro Stop, but from K street you can take the bus to Washington (approx. 10 minutes ride till Capitol Hill). Washington Port is also 1 block away, where you can have a great dinner.

| The staff was very helpful and nice, which made a world of difference when we arrived at 8AM after a long red-eye trip from Alaska. They helped us get settled by letting us park our car and our room was ready by noon. The staff was very helpful, which makes the difference. I would stay here again.

| Summary: this place is a steal. I'd stay there again in a minute. We got a clean, large, quiet room. Bath amenities were of high quality; bed, linen, and feather pillows were clean and comfortable; the free breakfast was your average muffin/bagel/juice/coffee/fruit deal, but there was plenty of it. The room was large enough to spread out - the desk was a little small for a lot of paperwork, but fine for a laptop. We are very pleased with our stay at the Georgetown Suites and would recommend it to. Tip: if staying for business, it's right across the alley from the Four Seasons - so meet your customer over at their bar and use the money you saved by staying across the street to wine and dine them. Tip: Easy walking to lots of restaurants. Tip: About a ten minute walk from the GW metro stop.

| We travelled with a child, so having a full kitchen and extra play space (living room and two walk in closets) was very nice. The continental breakfast had lots of individually wrapped breakfast bars, granola bars and poptarts in addition to the standbys of cereal, pastries and fruit, another convenience for children. The hotel is located two blocks from the harbor and about two blocks from the main drag of Georgetown, lots of restaurants and local attractions within walking distance. The nearest grocery store, Safeway, is a little bit of a walk, but the scenery is pleasant and there was always lots of activity, so we felt very safe. There is a drug store, CVS, less than three blocks away from the hotel for incidentals and snacks. We walked to all the main DC attractions, but the Circulator (bus) on the main drag will take you to Union Station with frequent stops along the way that bring you within blocks of the attractions. The latest check out available was 1pm, but we were able to store our luggage until our departure. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

| Good location, easy walking distance to the Metro, shopping and Georgetown Uni, GWU as well. This place seemed very home-like and the staff was friendly and helpful. Kind of dated decor but very clean. I had a larger than average room with a kitchen although the kitchen was a little "bijou" but it did everything that I needed. Goose down pillows were fabulous and the bed seemed more comfy than a regular hotel. Pretty good deal for the price.

| My fiance and I were really suprised at the size of the room we had, each one had a spacious bedroom and livingroom not to mention a kitchen! Hence - Suite. The area was great too. we were really close to M Street which is a great strip for some really great shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend. However I would suggest finding directions from the hotel itself... it was a little tricky to get to.

| Excellent hotel which is clean and family friendly. Managed in a 1 bedroom suite for a family of four. Breakfast was fabulous. Only issue was expensive parking and broken elevator.Would highly recommend for families on vacation or for business travellers. Relatively inexpensive.
