I was overjoyed with the location of the hotel...right off of Michigan Avenue's excellent shopping and dining district. It was in walking distance of the lakeshore, the best shopping, and some of the city sites. The suite was roomy, well appointed, and the hotel staff very friendly. We were excited about the rooftop pool, but that ended up being a bit under par than what we had hoped. All in all it's a great mid-level hotel and I would definately stay here again.

This hotel has a great location and the staff was very nice. I have stayed any many hotels in Chicago and I love being centrally located. The room was very spacious and the air conditioning worked very well. Beautiful windows and view of city. Great black-out shades.

The room was very big and furnished nicely. However, it was dated, needs some new paint, and updated bathroom tile, cosmetic maintenance, etc.

The Affinia hotel is located in the Heart of the Chicago shopping district near Saks 5th avenue, Bloomingdales, and loads of boutique shops. It is also not a far walk from "The L". We got a better rate at this hotel than several others in the area and were pleased with the size and comfort of our room. We will definitely stay there again when our travels take us back to Chicago.

This hotel has beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. The deluxe suite had a lot of room for 4 adults to spread out in. Tried to get room service after 11PM since the Pub's grill was closed, but ended up having to order out to a pizza place. The staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient. The location is very convienient and within walking distance to shopping and other attractions.

The Fitzpatrick is a small hotel with a friendly, dedicated staff. The rooms are very nicely arranged for travelers, especially the corner suites. They're arrangement makes them seem much larger than the average hotel room. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Rooms were very big. Stairs go down from entry into a big living room. Bedroom is in a separte room, but not closed off from the living room area. If you're looking for a reasonable price on a great suite style hotel this is a must. It's located 1/2 block from Michigan Ave and two blocks from Water Tower Place. Very minor complaints: $13 charge for Internet and room service must bring your ice. (small bucket) I'd go back in a heartbeat.

The staff is wonderful. The suite was very comfortable. I like the fact that it is 1/2 block from Michigan Avenue. It's actually kind of quiet right at the hotel, even though you're really close to all the crowd, the trtaffic, and the shopping on Michigan Avenue.

My sister stayed for her Wedding night and the room was an issue, not up to the Fitzpatrick name. It was too late to speak with the Floor Office manager, but the next day when she did he was very apologic and offered her a stay for the inconvenience. That's customer service.

We spent a long weekend in Chicago with our two children and were delighted with the Fitzpatrick. The location was perfect--two blocks from Watertower Place and American Girl and right next to a great pizza place. The room was huge, with a big bed for the parents and a pull-out couch for the kids. The staff was extremely friendly, and we enjoyed staying in a hotel that was interesting and homey, rather than a big cookie-cutter place. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, and will check out Fitzpatrick hotels in other cities we visit.

The room was slightly better than a regular hotel room since it sort of had 2 rooms - the sitting room was separated from the bedroom by only a partial wall. The bathroom was tiny. The bard area, with a fridge, was good to have. The room's foyer, yes foyer, was a special, but not useful. The location couldn't be much better, one block off Michigan. All of the shopping was right there. The service was good - pleasant hotel clerk and valet upon arrival. A very pleasant valet upon departure.
