Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking was a plus!!!! Location was ideal for family oriented activities. My daughter enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools. Ice machines could have been more convenient to our room; they were a bit of a distance away. BASIC cable!!

It may not be a 4 star hotel, but it's within walking distance of almost everything you could want! The falls are at the bottom of the street, and despite the clifton hills tourist area being literally right outside your door (the skywheel is right across the parking lot), the room was quiet and private. Great for people with kids (there's an indoor and outdoor pool and play area--you can even get rooms on the indoor pool area!) We spent the days roaming the area, and this was worth every penny we paid for it!

Just what we expected. Room was clean and spacious. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub almost as much as the 2 outdoor pools with slides. Our children didn't want to leave the hotel! The playground was an excellent bonus. So very close to the "hub" of action. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere for 3 days.

Vacationed with 2 and 3 yr old grandkids so location was excellent. Walked everywhere we wanted to go and was very happy with location of hotel because of the close proximity to all the attractions. Rooms were virtually sound proof so we didnt have to hear neighbor's tvs or comings and goings. Very nice! Room could have been a bit cleaner though. Cigar butts and beer cans were left on the balcony by previous guests.

Good location. Right in the middle of everything. We walked to all the popular tourist attractions with the exception of MArineland. This was a blessing since it is a pedestrian nightmare driving & parking is difficult not including having to pay for parking elsewhere. Ammenities were basic, no frills, but clean & courteous staff. We werent in our room much anyways.

We were very happy with the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. The location was even better - right in the middle of Clifton Hill but still set back enough from the road to feel a little distanced from the hustle and bustle of Clifton Hill attractions. Only two blocks from the falls and the People Mover bus system. Barely had to drive at all. The free parking was a great plus, although spaces were limited later in the evening and you may have to walk a little bit to get to room if you check in/get back after 4pm or 5pm.

This is definitely not your typical Quality Inn (or at least not from my experience)! Other than the slightly outdated furniture and bedspread this hotel rivals more expensive hotels. The staff at the front desk were literally the nicest and most helpful I have ever encountered. Hair dryers and iron/ironing board are not present in the rooms but were sent to our room when requested with the same courtesy experienced at the front desk. If you are traveling with children as we were, then definitely schedule pool time because they will LOVE the pool! (Sea serpent slides in a baby pool and "regular" pool!) You cannot beat the location. The new sky wheel was literally out our front door as was the Dinosaur Park miniature golf! Unlike other reviews, we did not find the restaurants to be that expensive especially considering the currency exchange; however, the attractions in the area we found to be ridiculously expensive! Nice hotel, excellent staff and location and we will definitely return!

I had requested a room that opened into the indoor pool area. Our room opened into the indoor pool area and was directly beside the door leading to the outdoor pool. There were 2 lifeguards at each pool everyday. Our room was clean and the housekeeping staff were there everyday. The lawn was very well manicured and the gardens beautiful. We could not see the falls from the hotel d/t a line of trees but were able to walk a short distance and see them. This hotel is very family oriented. My grandson loved the dragon slides. The parking was free and we were able to park close to our room. The location of the hotel was perfect, we walked everywhere we went, our car never left the parking lot. We were a little apprehensive at first because of being in the middle of everything and the posssibilty of it being noisy but surprisingly it wasn't. We did feel the restaurants were expensive but we were expecting that. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We are considering visiting the falls later this year and we will definately stay at this hotel again.

This hotel has a great location. When we got there We were a little early but they checked us right in and took us to our rooms. When we got to the rooms the maid was still cleaning and we noticed that she never changed the comforters on the beds. We called the front desk and got someone to change them right away. They then told us that they never change the comforters they just rotate them unless they really look like they need it. Gross! They were very helpful with everything else.

A comfortable basic hotel right in the heart of "crazy street", the theme-park centre of Niagara Falls and just a short walk to the Falls - perfect if you have young children. We had a room with two double beds, but family rooms - a queen in separate room, plus 2 doubles - are also available. Great pool. No refridgerator in room. We had our own portable cooler, and picnicked in our room a couple of nights (eating out for every meal is expensive).

We made reservations online and only went by what other people had said about the hotel. I am very fussy on cleanliness and I was very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel room and bathroom. The location was a little confusing on finding because it is literally in the middle of everything. Check in was above my standards, a gentleman escorted us on a golf cart to our room and carried some of our bags to our room. We had parking right out side our room where some of the other hotels parked quite a distance from their rooms. I was very happy with my choice and would use them again. The pools seemed clean and stocked with towels. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. Food is in easy walking distance. I guess the only complaint I would have is we had 4 people in our room and only 2 washcloths. THey gave us 4 large bath towels but only 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths.

The front desk staff was polite and helpful. The indoor and outdoor pools were nice. The housekeepers were very friendly and did a good job cleaning the room. The prolem I had with this hotel was the parking lot. You do not have a space assigned to your room. You might have to walk a great distance to your room. On Friday night I didn't have anywhere to park. The beds are also very small. The room was not equipped with a refridgerator or microwave.

The front desk staff and bellmen were wonderful; very responsive, cheerful, always happy to help. What a change from the snooty 'can't be bothered' attitudes of some higher end hotels I've been in. I mentioned a room change would be nice, and it was offered promptly and my bags moved; I needed a hair dryer and it was sent to my room. Several other small things. Location is fabulous, easy to walk to attractions and restaurants, 2 blocks from falls. It's an older hotel, but clean. The cleaning staff were super nice as well. The outdoor pool and slide, while not large scale, were very much enjoyed by the kids. The indoor pool, open til 11, is nice because the outdoor one closes at dark. parking is free, not insignificant! Don't drive anywhere nearby, easier to walk. No hair dryers in rooms, can request a loaner though.

Quality Inn Clifton Hill is smack dab in the middle of everything in Niagara Falls. It's a short walk to the falls themselves, and the tourist area of Clifton Hill is at your doorstep. The room itself is nothing special, but clean and comfortable. The staff was outstanding to a person - helpful and friendly and going above and beyond the minimum of their job descriptions. I picked this hotel above all others in the area because of its location, and I wasn't disappointed. It was right in the middle of bustling Clifton Hill, and we were therefore able to walk everywhere--the falls, Skylon Tower, etc. The only downside of our stay was that the carpet in our room appeared to have suffered extensive water damage and was therefore not entirely clean-looking. The beds were also a little uncomfortable. Overall, though, this hotel's best attibute is its location.

We had 2 adjoining rooms to accomadate our large family (5 kids). This allowed us 2 bathrooms (very important) and some space to spread out. The hotel was quiet and no noises to wake you up early (before you want to get up). The kids loved the Serpent water slides in the outdoor pool. The hotel is in walking distance to all attractions and the hotel is in the perfect place for "kid" activities (arcades, shopes, museums, mini golf...etc.). The staff was pleasant, when asked for a hair dryer one was brought up promptly. The maid stopped me in the hall, the first morning we were there to confirm we had both rooms, how many people, and to ask if we needed any extra towels, shampoo, soap or anything else. She was very pleasant and accomadating. I am not a fussy traveler, the only complaint I have the beds are hard (even the kids thought so). Otherwise this is the perfect location to stay for a family vacation.

It was perfect if you have younger kids (great outdoor and indoor pool/hot tub) and within one block of the falls. There a lots of great places to eat in the Clifton Hill area, an arcade, mini golf, souvenier shops, ferris wheel, etc. All of this is in easy walking distance. There is no charge for parking at this hotel, so you can park your car and not use it the rest of the time you're there.
