I've stayed in this particular hotel in the past and never have I had issues. This past visit on the other hand was quite different. I walked into my room and a putrid unrine smell permeated through out the room. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind. They moved me fast and without incident. I really like this hotel, but it seems that they need to replace their carpet which is holding most of the odor. Also, I've noticed that the bedding in the rooms are not as plush as other hotels in the area. Perhaps a room renovation is long over due...

A very nice hotel with great bartenders in the lobby bar. Meal prices are aimed at business travelers who expense out their meals. We made the mistake only once of eating breakfast in the hotel. They responded to a call for maintenance in less than two minutes. Great service.

The Hyatt Crystal City is not a memorable hotel. It does what a hotel should, provide a comfortable place to sleep, but gives little reason to come back a second time.

This Hyatt has one of the friendliest staffs I've encountered - from the shuttle driver that starts the day singing, to the operator who sets my wake-up call. Very professional and friendly staff - every single employee! Hotel decor is a little dated for a Hyatt property, but was comfortable and clean.

Hotel was too expensive for service offered. The bathroom was not very clean and facilities just OK. Only recommend if participating in an event there because of the convenience. (This was my case.)

We arrived at the Hotel late in the evening and there was an event going on. The hotel had oversold the parking garage and we barely were able to get in to park and even when we did it took 30 minutes. There were perhpas 1000 people attending the even and the sound from the band was so loud that not only could you not hear yourself think in the lobby, but we could still hear the music on the 13th floor where we were staying. Fortunately, the sound was muffled enough that when we finally did get into our room, we could sleep. This was about midnight and I don't know when the band stopped playing. I felt really sorry for the people on the lower floors.I have stayed in many, many hotels. I chose Hyatt because I wanted a superior product. Unfortunately, I did not get it. The hotel was nice, but overly so and the staff was not everything I thought they could have been. The room itself felt kind of old and in need of an update. We did have a fantastic view of the Airport, Capitol, and Washington Monument though. The parking was a nightmare and when were ready to leave the next day it took them 45 minutes for them to find our car and bring it up. Frankly, I wouldn't stay at this location again. I won't write of Hyatt for my future travel plans, but I will avoiud this hotel.

I can't believe this was a Hyatt, it was in utter disrepair. The state of the hotel was positively astonishing. The bedding, carpet, fruniture, and bathroom were beyond dated and falling aprart. The service as okay, but not what one who stays at a Hyatt is accostomed to. For instance I called the conciere in advance of my stay and did not recieve a call back. Normally lotion, cotten balls, q-tips, and robes are standard in a Hyatt room. Finally, on my last day I managed to get some robes delivered, the lotion never appreared. Try getting some wine glasses!!! Plan to drink out of the bathroom glasses. Then have an employee tell you they are tying not to get too close because they have the stomach flu. What traveler does not want exposed to that kind of bug? Nothing like vomiting in a hotel room, how homey,
