| The was great for our family of 4. It was centrally located for all our planned activites. The front desk was very helpful with information abour attractions in the area. The complimentary breakfast was a good way to save money.

| My husband and I spent the week of March 18-24 and loved every minute of it! We only dealt with the hotel staff during check in. The beds were very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was nice-though it would have been nice to have some more variety. The inside and outside hot tubs were fine-never tried the pool.

| We have stayed at the "the Bears" for five years and have loved it, and its convenience,up until this last trip. Three ski clubs at the hotel made breakfast very crowded, with many items unavailable unless you were very early. The beds need bottom fitted sheets, or they pull out and it wasn't comfortable. The staff wasn't as helpful as in the past again, perhaps due to the crowd. We love Jackson Hole, and want to return for the hotel that we have loved for five years.

| Overall the hotel was fine but there were a few areas they could improve. First, breakfast... change the menu occasionally. Everyday is exactly the same. I don't think I'll be able to look at scrambled eggs for a few months. Second, clean the pool and the outdoor hottub. Things were floating in both. In the pool you had to struggle to see the bottom. We were afraid we would catch something so we stayed out of it after the first night.

| This was an awesome place to stay! It is very convenient to most places. The staff were very accommodating and the bellman always had a smile on his face....kudos to him for all of his help! Our room was wonderful with the fireplace and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The snow is just awesome and I would definately rate this as one of the nicer places in Jackson to stay. Do the snowmobile trip; it was awesome to Granite Hot Springs. Also try the buffalo prime rib...best meat I have ever eaten!

| We just got back. The hotel has very comfortbale beds ( w/ a feather bed) which is great. The breakfast is good and plenty of it. Its much easier than having to go to breakfast every morning. Only warning is the outside hot tub is lukewarm, but the inside one is great Didn't deal w/ the staff at all except at check in. Will definitely be back. Merry Piglets, Calico and Cowboy steakhouse had great food!

| We stayed there in December 2005. The room was clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The complimentary continental breakfast was above average. Very efficient free town shuttle transportation. All the essential services. The only disappointment was the indoor/outdoor pool which was too cold to be used. Overall a very good value.

| Rooms are large and well furnished; gas fireplace is nice; pool and hot tub are nice. Especially appreciated free use of JH Athletic Club just behind the hotel to work out. Only minor complaint was that the breakfasts could have been a bit better.

| The hotel was clean, nicely decorated & landscaped. The staff was helpfull. The free breakfast would be much better with some meat, fresh fruit & whole wheat bread. It was inconvenient not to have a restuarant in the hotel but it seemed like none of the hotels in town had resturants in them. Pool & hot tub great but outdoor tub not heated when we tried it.

| The pool and hot tubs (2) were great. You have a choice of swimming inside or outsidie without getting out of the water. The breakfast buffet was very good, but they could have offered a breakfast meat that was not already in the scrambled eggs.

| I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room for the price I paid. I have traveled to Jackson Hole three times previously and was surprised to find accomadations at such a reasonable price. Admittedly, I was sceptical. The scrambled egg buffet was very nice. The staff was very accomadating. This place is a nice surprise!

| This hotel is great. It has nice, clean rooms and a very good free breakfast. We got the room with a fireplace and jacuzzi. The city of Jackson runs a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the city center and it only costs $2.00 to ride the bus to the ski resorts. You don't really need a rental car.

| This Best Western (known as "The Bears") really is an ideal place to stay if you plan on skiing during the day and spending some time in town at night. A complementary ski shuttle (about 15 min to the mountain) leaves every morning at 8:30 which gets you there right on time to catch the first tram. The same shuttle takes you back for free at 4:30pm. Unless you really hate carrying your gear to the mountain, the service really is perfect. If you don't feel like staying at the mountain until 4:30 you can always take the public bus back to the hotel ($2 if you buy tickets at the hotel) or have a drink at one of the bars on the mountain. Getting in to town is easy too, as there is a free shuttle (10 minutes) that leaves every 30 minutes right in front of the hotel. In terms of the hotel amenities and services, the only thing that left something to be desired was the breakfast. The hotel was clean and each room was spacious and well appointed (gas fireplace, fridge, microwave, extra sofa bed, all in every room). The hot tub, sauna, and pool were clean and never full, and were perfect resting spots after a full day of skiing. Breakfast consisted of eggs (plain, with ham or with sausage), cereal, bread/bagels, juices and some fresh fruit. Normally that doesn't sound bad, but after the 6th day of eating the same thing (the quality was actually quite good) it gets a little old (All I would suggest would be to change the selection a bit from day to day).
