| I should start by saying that the hotel staff was always professional and efficient. Check in/check out was handled smoothly and quickly. Unfortunately, the employees were very businesslike, sometimes bordering on dour, and not at all friendly.My room was nicely appointed and the housekeeping was excellent. Unfortunately, my room faced south, overlooking a bowling alley. The windows were very thin and the shouting and yelling from patrons of the bowling alley kept me awake each night until 1:30 a.m. Alternate rooms were not available. The hotel is situated in a noisy, downtown neighborhood. If you need sound sleep on your trip , I'd look elsewhere.
