A nice clean hotel that is in a good location, right in the fisherman's wharf area. The beds are the best feature in this hotel. They have this soft cushion on top of the mattress that lets you just feel like you molded right into it. It just took your tension of walking around all day away. The pillows were wonderful also. The best sleep I ever had at a hotel.

This recently renovated hotel should be 4 stars, not 3 and a half. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Everything seemed brand new. It was easy walking distance to Ghiradelli Square, Fisherman's Warf and Pier 39 and all the tours. It was way better than I expected. The restaurant in the hotel "Knuckles" is very good and casual.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay Hyatt because of its great location. We enjoy urban hikes and from the Hyatt we were able to walk to the Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square, North Beach, and along the Embarcadero. In addition, the hotel staff were very helpful in advising us about the virtues of using the F line for local transportation to several places of interest to us. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel has a great location. Service was good. Two reservations include the following. First, valet parking was full and we had to park about two blocks away - however, they referred us to the parking garage, and the daily parking rate there was cheaper as long as you didn't take your car out. Second, the rooms smelled of smokers. The first room was unacceptable to us. They offered us a second better room, and explained that the building was purchased by Hyatt and had not been fully cleaned of cigarette/cigar smells except for few rooms (two?). Small details: no coffee pot in the room, but complimentary coffee was available in the lobby from 5:30 - 9:00 or 9:30 I can't remember. No mini refrigerator in the room.

I stayed in a standard king room, which had a HD plasma TV and a very nice large bathroom. The room was comfortable and clean. As were the steam room, workout room, pool and spa. I really cant complain and the location was just lovely. One thing though. Everything from the Elevators to the TV made the most annoying musical chime. Aside from that everything was fine.

I stayed in a recently refurbished room with modern, understated decor and a lovely comfortable bed. The room was quiet, even though it was above the street. We visited San Francisco over Christmas. The hotel was very nice, in a wonderful location. We bought a "City Pass" and for seven days could ride cable car and Muni, also included several Museums. It saves a bundle. Two blocks away we found a "Trader Joe's", (it's a grocery store) and a Safeway.

I was extremely pleased with the service and cleanliness of this hotel. Food and Beverage services were excellent and reasonably priced, location approx. 2 blocks from the waterfront was perfect. Perhaps the only sore spot was the parking situation. All parking was Valet only, and I felt that the $32.00 per day charge was a bit steep.

I was a little disappointed when I got to the hotel. I had reserved a king size bed in a non smoking room and was told that all they had were two double beds. Since this was my first time in this hotel and I had already paid for my reservations requesting a king size bed I was not happy with their answer. A convention in town did not give them the right to give up my room reservation.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a very convenient location in Fisherman's Wharf. We did a lot of walking. Actually walked to Union Sq, Chinatown, and Presidio Park. Bring comfy shoes b/c there are lots of hills! You must take a trolley ride!! Would definitely stay here again!

We spent 4 nights at the Hyatt's Fisherman's Wharf Hotel and were very satisfied with our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable and the outdoor pool and hot tub were heated and well kept. It was an overall nice hotel. The best part of this hotel was the location! It was within walking distance of everything to do in Fisherman's Wharf and walking distance of the city's quite intricate transportation system. It wasn't a true "Hyatt" standard hotel, but it was nice in a great location.

The Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf was a clean and comfortable hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Answered questions about bus lines and cable cars and tours available. Only down fall was that the room we were put in was at the end of a hall by the stairs and we heard some stair traffic. Overall a good experience, and close to the famous Pier 39 wharf.

This hotel is exactly what we were looking for in San Francisco. The room was quiet and beds were the most comfortable we have found in a hotel. The only possible negative was that the room felt a bit small, but we were there to see the local sights which we enjoyed immensely. The employees at the concierge desk recommended great tours and restaurants, and their recommendations were just great!

On a trip to San Francisco, My companion and I stayed at the Hyatt Hotel. I believe we paid too much for the services we had received. Even though the staff were kind and friendly, the room left much to be desired. The bed was quite hard and the reception on the television was poor. The cleanliness of the room was poor as well, due to the fact that dirty glasses were left in our room more than once during our stay there. I would not stay at the Hyatt again if I had a choice.

Great hotel. People were friendly and could help us with any thing we needed. I really liked the idea of them taking your luggage out of your car and bringing up to your room while you checked in. And what a great deal for parking. The price was little high for me, but you did get the in and out without a fee thing. And that is the added bonus. The pool and spa, great. Excercise room, excellent. The sauna was quite nice too. Controls on it were set perfectly. Very friendly staff. I will stay there on future visits to San Fransisco.
