| The hotel amenities were very good. Hotel is right on the beach. There are pools and resturants on the beach. Entertainment is excellent. The resort itself is very good. However, my room was old and dirty. The price was very inexpensive...so I guess you get what you pay for. However, another room in this resort maybe perfectly clean and new, because they are owned condos. One owner may take better care of their unit than another. The time we spent on the grounds was great. We limited our time in the room.

| This hotel was filthy. I pulled my daughters bed covers down at 10:30pm and found that the sheets hadn't been changed from the previous guests. I called the front desk and after 1 hour someone brought me sheets so i could change the bedding. Had to call front desk everyday for maid service. Front desk staff was rude. This hotel put a damper on the vacation..

| Me and my 11 year old daughter went for 4 nights and 5 days. The resort is old .. but trying to improve itself very much and has accomplish alot. It was recently bought out by westgate properities... . In all it was quite nice. The bellman were extremely helpful and so were the receptionist. We were on the 19th floor eff.OFront.. and it was beautiful.. They have a nice pool ,lazy pool, decksthey were fun and good... they paly 7 days a weel from 1-6pm Just wished they could learn a lot more songs..Maybe like more Jimmy Buffett... Everyone seemd to really enjoy themselves..... sometimes too GOOD!! The only thing I was disappointed in was that our bed linens were never changed the whole time we were there and the floor was not vaccumed nor was the furniture dusted. In which I did let them know. We got a great deal on expedia... It was the best price I had found after looking at all the other sites. and also.. it is located in North Myrtle Beach secluded.. I will go back!!

| I Loved this resort. I would book it again. My efficency room could sleep six people, but the ad said four people. I had two beds and a sofa bed. A full size kitchen, full bath, second vanity, and washer and dryer. Plus, a oceanfront room and a nice size living room area. It had a dining table for four and a bar for three people to dine. Awesome hope to get this room again. I will be back. Nice staff, quick maintance, and house keeping.

| From the time we arrived, the service was miserable, with at least 5 employees at the front door and me with baggage and baby, none would lift a hand to open the door, the receptionist was rude, a cleaning lady had her cart blocking the hall to the room, and was standing by it, she wouldn't move it to let us through, so i moved it for her. the room was dirty, and the indoor pool was dirty, the lazy river wasn't turned on nor were there any tubes to ride on, when ask about both. The response from the staff was, the tubes are locked up and the reason they call it a lazy river is because it's lazy. Obviously the staff could care less about who pays their check. But all in all the only people they are hurting are themselves and the company.

| My fiance & I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (sunday & monday). The ocean club was ok. The staff was fake friendly, like they were reading a script. The elevators were ok but were so crowded you were always crammed on them. Unluckily for us we got a room on the 2nd floor. Booo. For some reason they gave us an ocean front room when we booked a side view, I think that is why we were so low. And everybody can see each other on their balconies. Our view was of the ugly roof (which looked like a deck) of the indoor pool. It was a horrible. The room was your typical hotel room, we got what we paid for. I did not however pay for the cockroach that crawled out of my suitcase the last morning there. Yuck! The breakfast buffet was so good. The indoor pool water was gross looking & the outdoor pool was packed. Even the ocean was crowded. We had a blast though. Ocean Annie's was loud but enjoyable if you kept your balcony door opened, but when you were ready to sleep if you shut the door you couldn't hear a thing, even the people in the rooms next door. The iron was chained to the ironing board which made it hard to iron & the parking deck wasn't great. The elevator in the parking deck was so old & took so long. It was also kind of hard to find this place. The directions I got online were horrible. But once you figure out where it is, it's easy to find it when you leave. It's ok if you don't mind a crowd. Just opt for a better room that is higher up.

| Just a brief of my trip: Our checkin time was supposed to be at 3:00 PM. They gave us a room after 1 hour waiting at 4. When we went to the room it was not clean and everything was in the middle of the room. Finally at 4:30 we were in another room. Don't be deceived by the photos. The lobby was crowded and dirty. The hotel was very old. We were there 3 days but they cleaned our room just once. Don't waste your money.

| Room was not in great condition but location is good and Ocean Annie's is nice. Hotel is definitely in need of some renovation. Cable tv only got about 10 of the channels clearly and housekeeping did not come on the last day we were there. Air conditioning only comes on when you are in the room so it gradually gets hotter thru the day. Not a great feeling after a long day at the beach. Ok for the price but definitely not spectacular.

We got checked in on time and our room was clean and spacious. We also took advantage of their in hotel spa and got massages before we left. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get a great deal for your money, however if you can afford to spend more I would keep searching since this hotel has just the basics (with the exception of the great bar with live music by the pool "Ocean Annie's"). :-) I loved it!

| First of all the clerk checking me in 5/24 seems to have been new and very confused on a lot of things. Second, I ordered & paid for breakfast tickets (4) four of them on only received (3)three. Had to go back to the clerk and explain to her that i ordered 4 (it pays to hold on to reciepts and confimation numbers). After 15 minutes I finally recieved my ticket. I went up to my room (1513) and the door opened right up. So I decided to go to get something to eat upon leaving i had trouble closing and securing the door. I looked at the base of the door where the locks were and it was busted. It took maintenance 1 hour to fix. Upon check out 5/28 i requested a shuttle to the airport the bell man put me on the wrong shuttle i missed my plane. I got home to speak with guest services left messages no on has returned my call as of 6/5/06. I want to bring my children next year please improve and guest services please respond. | I have stayed at this hotel three times due to the reasonable price. This is NOT a fancy hotel with perfect service. Housekeeping was hit and miss, we were often left without any toilet paper. When we called the front desk to request some, they said we'd have to come down there to get it. It's not our fault the housekeeper didn't do her job! Our quilt had what looked like a pee stain on it and we requested that housekeeping clean it. They took it away and did not bring it back for 3 days, after we asked them for it. The walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors tv very well. The only thing to brag about was maintenance. Our shower head wasn't working right so we put in a request at the front desk and maintenance actually beat us to our room. The problem was fixed immediately. It's an OK hotel, nothing fancy but at least we didn't pay a fortune for it.
