The Great Divide Lodge has the best location in relation to the slopes...that's why we go to Breck isn't it! Rooms are clean, but the bathrooms are tight, watch your head on the door handle while sitting on the thrown. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Stay away from room 911, my husband and I both saw "ghostly actions" but room 814 is fine. Overall the price and location can't be beat!!

There are better places to stay in Breck. The hotel elevator is slow and I was not impressed with the cleanliness. The town and the snow were beautiful. We'll definitely go back to Breck but will seek other accomodations.

Service is absolutely horrible - teenagers with a snotty attitude. Guest directory needs to be updated - info is incorrect. No vending machines on every floor. Insufficient signage. Rude ski/snoboard storage handlers. Front desk was the worst service followed by the restaurant.

The location is good, the free transportation service is great, the view of the mountains was spectacular, however, the pillows were as hard as rocks giving the family neck and shoulder aches and trying to keep the room with a comfortable temp was unsuccessful. But overall, it was a nice place to stay. Would we go back, probably not, only because we like to explore new places.

Very nice lodge at a reasonable price near the slope and town. Great outdoor hot tubs even if it is cold outside. There is no minibar and no microwave oven which could have been handy. Food at the lounge is poor, but Eric's, Taipei Tokyo and Columbine Cafe are very good and close by!

I would recommend this hotel for the price. The service of the hotel and restaurant staff was fantastic! They have a "can-do," attitude. The on-site ski shop staff was not as impressive. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The TV hutch was missing a door but they offered to have maintenance come up. Overall, this was a great place to stay, the restaurant did not offer a huge menu but the food was good!

The lodge was great. It was exactly like the info on the internet. Great location, across the street from the slops, very friendly staff. They offer a free shuttle service, which is great because the roads are pretty icy and our rental car was a Toyota Corolla. Would defintely stay there again.

I love the location of the hotel. It was a very short walk to the slopes. Storing our skis was easy and convenient. The hotel would take us where ever we wanted to go. They were very helpful. The pool area was small, but fun with a lot of jacuzzies.

I thought the location would be great - it's not. You have to walk up hill to the nearest lift and several blocks down hill to Main St. The hotel itself is nothing special. They need to replace the carpet, add an elevator, and fix the fireplace - it seems like the owner is milking this property for all its worth. The rooms and amenities are typical. That said, the staff was very helpful. The advice I heard was that all the hotels in Breckenridge are average at best. If you can, choose a condo or B&B. The town's great, the hill is great if you're an intermediate skier, but the Great Divide Lodge is below average.

Parking sucks, the hidden $12/day parking fee is a joke when there isn't enough spots for 50% room capacity. Elevators can't go to all floors due to the building being built on a severe slop. This wouldn't be an issue if the connecting elevator was next to or even near the first one. Instead you have to go through a maze of poorly labled hallways to the connector. Overall its not bad for the money, but be prepared to walk a little extra. (to your room and slopes)

This hotel was superb for the price. It's location can't be beat. The parking was expensive at $12/night, but you could always park in the free town lots and take the free shuttle to the hotel. My only complaint is that the way the hotel is laid out is terrible. I understand that it follows up the side of the mountain, but the ONE elevator was slow and it could take 8 min just to get to our room.

This hotel had great access to the slopes, but the accommodations were much to be desired. First, the elevator system was weird. You had to truck all the way to the other end of the hotel to get to the elevators that only went to the 6th floor. If your room was beyond that, you had to truck all the way to the other end of the 6th floor to reach another set of elevators that reached floors 7-10. Second, the rooms were pretty run down. They are in need of major cleaning and renovation. Third, the service was ok, but the hotel seems to be run by college students who are more interested in hitting the slopes than providing good service.

Very friendly and helpful staff; the rooms and halls were a bit worn. Amenities were great (pool, hot tubs, sauna, massage therapist on call, restaurant). Short walk to two lifts. We thought the sitting area was separate, but it is all one room with two queen beds.

Hotel is conveniently located to slopes (across the street and a parking lot) but overall is very average as far as room and overall facilities. Elevator system is a challenge because it is really two separate buildings with floor 6 being the "transfer floor." Don't get a room on floor 6 if you don't want to hear people walking past your room all night. Floors 7-10 are on a different set of elevators off of floor 6. Hotel doesn't have laundry facilities. They have a laundry service but week we were there they said they were too full and didn't have the staff to do laundry so referred me to other hotels that did have laundry facilities. Has ski check but no ski or boot lockers and requests that you not keep skis in the room or wear your boots in the hotel. Parking for a vehicle is additional charge. Does provide a protable humidifier in the room which is very nice. On weekend there were a lot of teens in the hotel that had come up with groups from Denver and used the conference rooms as their "base" for the day.

The hotel has a good location to the slopes (base of peak 9) - not quite ski in-out but only a short walk (5 mins) to the Beaver run lift. The hotel was clean and tidy, with a large gas fireplace in the lobby - very nice. Rooms were spacious and clean, though the bathroom and bathtub were a little small (and I'm 5'10" 170lbs). The deal we had did not include parking, so add $12 extra a night. Breakfast was also extra - $7 for a cold buffet and $14 for hot. Apart from that it was a 5min walk to Breck main St - was was nice!

We loved the location next to the ski slopes, but found the overall condition of the Lodge to be a bit outdated. Keeping the room at a comfortable temperature was difficult. The restaurant food was mediocre at best. The staff people were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. If you want to be right next to the skiing action, it's a great place to be...but focus on the skiing and not your time in the hotel.

It's all about location and this hotel has it right on the slopes of Breckenridge. It's too bad the hallways and rooms didn't reflect the beautiful location. If you could get over the overwhelming smell of cleaning supplies, you do get to enjoy a large room.
