| This hotel was dark and dirty. I wore shower shoes b/c the bathroom was dark which made it feel dirty. The beds had old mattresses that were way too soft. The iron we had to ask for was broken and did not work well. The best thing was the location, (right across the bridge from Charleston) and the visitors center was across the street. I would recommend this place only if you need a cheap place to sleep, and you have absolutely no expectations for comfort and cleanliness.

| I was visiting South Carolina to research relocation options. I found the Red Roof Inn in Mt Pleasant to be more thn satisfactory. The location was optimal..easy access to all major routes in and around Charleston; the peaceful side of Mt Pleasant made it a wonderful place to relax at night & sit by the pool. If you are looking for simplicity with clean, comfortable, friendly service, The Red Roof Inn Mt. Pleasant is a great choice. It also has the visitor center just next door for all kinds of info. on the area!
