My family and I were very impressed by the hotel. If was very clean, nice rooms and the front desk was very impressive. My family enjoyed the stay and really enjoyed being away from all the traffic. I can't wait to go back! I will definately tell all my friends and family how great this place is.

This hotel was better than we expected. It was off the main strip, so it was nice and quiet. The rooms were very clean and the property well groomed. The accomodations made for one of the most relaxing vacations we've had.

This hotel is not at all what I was told it would be, the rooms are small, old, and even though somewhat clean there is an odor throughout the entire hotel. The restaraunt connected to the hotel is the worst I have ever seen. Area attractions were very entertaining, and there are many things to do.

I had paid so little for our four night stay at the Welk Resort, that I was genuinely expecting bare bones. I was pleasantly surprised. It is a beautiful property, away from the dense traffice. It has a theater and a restaurant attached to it, accessible by a lovely lanscaped walkway. The grounds are landscaped beautifully. There was even putt-putt on the grounds. The hotel staff arranged our excursions for us and gave us vouchers to use all over Branson. We paid for everything at once at check-out. I did miss having a micro-fridge in the room, but other than that, all was great.

1. Hotel Front Desk staff were not so welcomming in their behavior -- bit uptight in their atitude. 2. We had to wait for 30 mins in front of the desk before we could get to our room -- because of their tardiness. 3. House keeping staff left an envelope for tips ..( haven't seen this anywhere ). 4. Rooms had a strange smell & they were small too -- compared to the price we had to pay.

Welk Resort is a comfortable place to stay. It has a good breakfast, beautiful garden, and a fun mini golf. It is located a little off the main strip of town which made it very relaxing--a place to get away from the hustle and bustle--and yet easy access via the back roads to everything. We would highly recommend this hotel.

My family recently stayed at the Welk Resort. Both the grounds and overall facilty seemed very well maintained. Since I have two children I was looking for a place where my kids could ride their bikes and have plenty of green space to play in; the Welk definately fit the bill. Speaking of bills, although the room was a little small it was still a great value.

We found the property to be comfortable, and accommodating. We enjoyed the fact that it was quiet and relaxing. One thing the property could use is more dining options. You are pretty much limited to buffet style dining in a large dining room. Overall ,it is a nice property, and a good value.

The Welk hotel staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and accomodating. The only complaints that I have was that the pool was not open initially, which was disappointing to my children. It did open later in the week earlier than what we were originally told. This made my kids much happier. Also, because the property is seasonal, not all items on the menu in the restaurant were actully available. Therefore, we had to order several times before we were able to get anything to eat, ie. we ordered shrimp, they didn't have it. We ordered steak, they didn't have it. I finally ordered a reuben sandwich and they didn't have the corn beef. Working in a seasonal resort property, I understood the situation, however it would have been much better if they had produced a menu for that time of year. Otherwise, we were quite pleased with our stay.

I traveled with a disabled person in a wheelchair and found that the Welk Resort was very gracious to us. Within a half hour, a shower bench had been delivered to our room (and not previously requested). They made three show reservations for us and we were provided with very good seats (however, my partner being in a wheelchair probably helped influence our seating) Overall, I would say that we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The breakfast was a buffet style and I would not recommend it to my friends. However, we did enjoy Branson immensely, and plan a return trip. High points of our trip... Haygoods, Joseph and the amazing techicolor dreamcoat, Tony Roi, Fantastic Caverns and Lamberts resturant about 2o miles north of Branson. In fact at Lamberts , because my partner was in a wheelchair, the waitress told us "If you came in in your own chair, then you aren't going to be paying for your meal" Our bill was $13.80. (almost blew my mind being from Chicago). Overall, our Branson stay was good and I would definetly stay at the Welk Resort again. It is away from the 76 strip and I would not want to deal with all that congestion on top of me at the hotel. Just my thoughts, Steve

The hotel looked lovely on the outside and the clerk at the front was friendly but that is where the quality of this hotel ended. The lobby was okay, with dirt on the carpet. The room we stayed in had 2 queen beds and the room was small. There was 'debris" left from the previous quest and houskeeping did not clean this up, papers on the floor, q-tips under the sink in the bathroom, hair on the sheets in the bed. The outdoor heated pool had no water in it. The mini-golf coarse was the smallest I have ever seen. The grounds were nice. We will not be staying here again.

The Welk Branson Resort is comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated, and has beautiful grounds. We enjoyed it because it's slightly off the busy, noisy Branson strip, with beautiful views of the Ozark hills and mountains. The rooms were spotless! With a playground for the kids, mini-golf and a swimming pool, there's plenty to do at the Welk Resort!

Accomodations which were confirmed at least two weeks prior to arrival date were not available on the first of the two days reserved. We were moved across town (not a convenient location for us) and then were moved back to the original hotel on the second night. The only compensation we were given for this inconvenience was a free buffet breakfast for one morning. This was not a satisfactory experience as I made the reservations with the location in mind to be near the attractions we planned to see and for which we had tickets.
