| This hotel was nice for our three night stay. It was convenient to the metro-rail for our tour of DC. It was about a 25 minute train ride to Union station. There were two restaurants and a convenience store next door, and we felt very safe walking there in the evening. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, and the staff courteous. The free full breakfast was good, which included biscuits and gravy, and scrambled eggs along with the other usuals. But there only a few tables in the main room which was very crowded, and there was another room for eating that was across the lobby and a little inconvenient. Also the Air Conditioning wasn't cold enough for our liking in our room. The swimming pool was nice and there was always a lifeguard on duty. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend it but only if it was on special. I got a great deal through expedia, all the other search sites were much higher.

| Considering the reasonable price, I was expecting adequate accomodations; although, what I received was exemplary service in every respect. I might add that I am one of those really picky people who can't stand inferior cleanliness of rooms or service. When I arrived, and inquired about a restaurant where I could eat Maryland blue crabs, the person at the desk not only recommended two such places, but also called to confirm that the crabs were still on the menu, made my reservations for me, and gave me a map, which he reviewed with me. The free breakfasts are so filling that I never needed lunch. But, most of all, there was a feeling of hospitality that prevailed in the attitudes of every hotel employee that I interacted with. Also, the grounds include a lovely small park area, and, you are in walking distance of Muldoons, a small local restaurant/bar with a nice atmosphere. I don't know why anyone destined for the DC area would ever stay anywhere else. Why can't all hotels be of this quality.

| I was very impressed with this hotel. My room was very comfortable, though the area in front of the door smelled like cigarettes. The water pressure in the bathroom was non-existant. The breakfast was really good, great selection. The shuttle to the train station every day was a godsend and the staff were very helpful and always helped me when I had questions.

| I believe that customers with children should all be in the same floor - it is very disturbing for other customers on the floors with cildren running up and down and yelling at all hours of the day and night !!!

| We loved this hotel. The staff was great, the price was nice, and the rooms are very clean. The hotel is in a nice area, and the breakfast can't be beat. We will be going back to this hotel to stay everytime we are visiting this area. I recommend it to all.

| This is an exceptionally well-run hotel. The front desk staff are helpful and knowledgable. The hotel is well-built, well-maintained, clean, and comfortable but feels a bit old and dated. I have stayed here before and will stay again for budget Washington DC visits.

| This Comfort Inn was conveniently located, but our room was not clean. When asked to have it cleaned, it took too long for service. Usually a Comfort Inn is much cleaner.

| Room was great, free breakfast and evening snacks are nice as well. High speed wireless too. My only problem was the staff kept bugging me to be out by 11am (I had two faxes come in, so they knew I was had not left by 10:30). Even the maid told me to call the front desk about staying past 11am! Gimme a break, I was gone by 11:30!

| We got a good rate on the room, which made it worth the price. Room was clean and neat, but a little outdated and small. Hotel lobby was designed to compete with elegant big city hotels. Complimentary breakfast every morning incl. coffee/tea/juice, biscuits/gravy, eggs, cereal, Eggos, assorted pastries. Thumbs up! The first 2 nights, we were inundated with cigarette smoke even though we were on a non-smoking floor. One of the nights, we were awakened with the fire alarm sounding off during the night. We were told someone was playing a bad joke by pulling the alarm. The fire alarm joke was not the clincher, as the hotel has no control over what a stupid guest would do. My problem was with the issue of cigarette smoke seeping into the room (from another floor? or was it from someone on the floor who didn't comply with smoking offlimits). Without those two incidents, it would have been a great stay. By the way, hotel has complimentary WIFI access for your laptop and free parking.

| This is a very nice hotel. It was very clean, they serve a full breakfast every morning, and the staff is so friendly. We had our dogs with us and the hotel has a huge grassy area which is very convenient. I would definitely stay here again and recommended it to anyone.

| Don't know why this hotel only has 2 1/2 stars. The staff were very friendly & helpful, everything was clean & well maintained, rooms were a good size, wireless internet is free, there's a free on-demand shuttle to the metro. In short, it's a great place!
