| After reading the reviews, we weren't looking forward to staying at Clarion. It is actually a nice hotel, the rooms were pretty clean, the staff was polite, and overall we were pleasantly surprised. Although we were put in a Smoking Room by Expedia they were willing to move us to a Non-Smoking room once a vacancy was available. The elevator is outdated and the pool was small, but other than that the hotel was a great stay!

| The room was fine. The staff were not especially nice. The restaurant was not open on a Saturday night. I asked why and the front desk said "the guy stepped out but he'll be back soon". I'm not sure how one person runs a dining room. At breakfast there was one guy who apparently had cooked the food. He was also clearing and setting tables. There was no wait staff at all. At 730am the fire alarm in the bldg went off for no apparent reason. It stopped after 10 or 20 seconds but by that time I was scared awake. The jacuzzi was not working and when this was reported to the front desk staff there was no apology or excuse, just "OK"... Overall I was not impressed. If you just need a place to sleep this place is OK but don't expect much beyond that.

| I was surprised to see the front desk manager and staff display rude behavior to other guests. Seems like a family owned business with little experience, especially catering to a business traveler. Not a place I would recommend.

| There were two dead birds in front of the double doors when I first arrived. The lobby was ok, clean. The room was also clean, but run-down. The sink and tub wouldn't drain. Although everything seemed clean, the towels were old and stained. The hotel needs a major makeover.

| This hotel has a lot of miles on it. The rrom was clean but heavily worn. The restaurant was just plain awful. I regretted that I could and did look into the kitchen. The one bright spot was the staff was all extremely courteous and helpful.

| We went to the Clarion for an overnight trip to Omaha. Clean room overall, but there was a ceiling panel hanging open right above the shower...it bothered me a little...as if debris was going to fall on my head when I was showering The pool area was dirty and there were no clean towels. It was over-run by a loud, noisy group of preteens who didn't seem to have any social skills NOR did they have any adults present.

| While we had no problems, other people in our family who stayed there did. They were on the third floor and had no electricity and no hot water. Also, the staff needs to clean out the ash tray outside the hotel at least once if not twice a day.

| Despite not many people in the lounge/bar area it was like sitting in an ashtray, we didn't use it. Restraunt was not impressive, dark, cold, nobody eating there, we choose to go out somewhere else. Hot breakfast buffet was OK:scrambled eggs, pancakes, links.

| No compliants, they were friendly and the hotel was clean, we didn't spend much time there, other than to sleep. We booked it quickly, not knowing much about the layout of Omaha so I was dissappointed to find that it was pretty far out from where most of the action is, but it wasn't a very long drive to the downtown area. Should there be future visits, I would prefer to stay closer to downtown.

| The hotel price was great and I guess that I should have expected to not be staying in a four star hotel. However, the star system on expedia made it sound like a great hotel. We asked for a non-smoking room, but we could smell smoke all night. I think it was drifting up from the room below us. It made it hard to sleep.

| Don't stay here! The staff was not welcoming, informative or helpful. The hotel is overrun with kids and even the adults were partying in the halls and oblivious to their neighbors who may be sleeping (11:00 at night)If you do stay here - you need to ask for the best room, quiet, and be sure that they tell you there is a complimentary breakfast. we stayed 2 days and had no idea even though it was advertised when we reserved. Nothing in the room tells you about it and no one offered any informantion.

| I booked six rooms for our bowling team, requesting king sized beds. Two of the families needed the larger beds as they had toddlers with them. At check-in we were informed that we could not get any king beds. On the hotels televisions, check-out time was listed at 12:00. Imagine the surprise of several of our team when they returned from the swimming pool at 10:45 only to find that the key cards to their room no longer worked. We were told that check-out time had been changed to 11:00 and the "computer had screwed up." In short, even with the reasonable rates that we received through expedia, we would not recommed this hotel to anyone for any reason.

| I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel, most of the reviews were great, and we got a fantastic price. When we got there, it seemed like a nice hotel, but when we got to our room, we were very disappointed. It was nice, and clean, and to give them credit, there was a fridge and a microwave, like I had requested, but instead of the King bed we had reserved, we got 2 doubles. My fiance and I can't sleep on a double, because neither of us would get any sleep. When I asked to be switched to a room with a king sized bed, they said they couldn't do that, because I had booked with Expedia, and they couldn't guarantee anything. But I don't believe that, and even if that was true, they should have tried to work with us, we had a 5 night reservation. So we had to sleep in separate beds for 5 nights.... On top of that, the room was sooo hot, and it was -15 degrees outside. We slept with the air on, and the window open. Also, it was so dry, that we had to run the shower for an hour every night before we went to bed, and even then, we both woke up with a soar, dry throat. Most of the staff wasn't incredibly friendly, but a few were, so I won't say they were all terrible. I I have stayed in worse hotels, so that is why I gave it a 3 in overall satisfaction, but I will NEVER stay there again. It was very disappointing.

| My family and I stayed at the Clarion Hotel West on our way back from a ski trip to Vail, CO. The hotel was clean and conveniently located near the highway. The staff was courteous but the hotel was very basic. It serves the purpose for business or as an inexpensive 1-night stay on a cross-country trip. I would not recommend it for any other purpose.
