Convenient location and reasonably priced. I was looking for a hotel in the last minute for a conference and this was the only one that was still priced reasonably that's within the loop.

friendly staff & clean rooms with no frills. if you are looking for valet parking & room service, look elsewhere. if you are looking for a basic place to crash for the night, especially one within walking distance of the museum campus, this will work for you.

We chose this hotel because of the lower cost and because of its proximity to McCormick Place and the excitement of Michigan Ave. It was definitely not fancy but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the public bus system and walked up Michigan Ave and very easily made it everywhere we wanted to go. I would recommend this place to people who don't mind sacrificing a little fluff for affordability.

Usually big chain hotels in high profile areas (like Michigan Ave. across from Grant Park) step it up a bit to really attract visitors. Not Best Western! It's old and run-down. Though the service at the desk was great the valet service was appalling.

Good location (near mag mile and millenium park), but of course you get what you pay for. The front desk staff is slow but polite. There is currently no parking available. The rooms are generally clean but old and some rooms smell very strongly of cigarettes. This hotel is fine if you plan to spend most of the day out and just use the hotel as a place to crash.

This was a nice hotel in a nice location for visiting Museum Campus. There is currently not a restaraunt on site, but they are in the process of adding one.

The room was clean, and the location was convenient, but there was no in-room Internet access (a surprise these days), and the bed was too springy and soft, and the pillows were lousy. There's no restaurant at the moment and therefore no room service. The closest beer is a couple of blocks away. They have a continental breakfast, which consists of donuts (not fresh) packaged breakfast bars, coffee, and juice. I can't recommend the hotel.

I loved this hotel it was so nice it had everything you needed!! The staff were very helpful and help all they could! The hotel was in a very good location where you could easily walk to the subway buses and even the free shuttle!! Great walking distance for something to eat!! All in all i would not have liked to stay anywhere else and if i go back to Chicago i will stay there again!!

The location of this hotel is excellent. Walking distance to museums and close to downtown. The rooms were nice and clean and a good view of Grant Park. The lobby was modest (not as nice as the Hilton or Congress). The service was so-so. The elevator broke down twice in three days. Breakfast wasn't included. For $7 you got to re-heat hash browns and an omelet in a microwave. Also, a selection of cereal and bread. Not bad if you are in a hurry but not high quality. Overall, a good value for the price and location.

The hotel lobby is very nice. But when we got to our floor which was on the 3rd floor it smelled like smoke. It was horrible. I requested a non-smoking room. And then the comforter on the bed had hair on it, I wasn't impressed. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Clean rooms. Courteous employees. Showers had plenty of pressure and hot water. Little to no heat in room. Pop machines only worked on two floors. Only two ice machines in hotel. Parking garage is closed, you have to pay $22. a day for off site parking.
