I have stayed here 4 times and taken family and friends. This hotel has the best views of Acapulco: they are spectacular. The lovely individual rooms are set out on the hill overlooking the bay with private pools: at night it's magical. It has a fantastic beach club where you can have total privacy from the otherwise constant harassment of beach sellers you encounter on the main Acapulco Beach. You can swim in either the salt water rock pool which has beautiful fish, or the regular pool. It retains the 'exclusive feel' of a small hotel - you don't feel like you're in a cattle market like you do at some of the large hotels on the Diamante coast. I won't stay anywhere else in Acapulco.

Las Brisas-an excellent hotel. Hotel restaurant is outstanding, but expensive. Our room, with a shared pool, was large and very comfortable with a tremendous view. The gym and spa was adequate-treadmills, elliptical machine and weight machine. But no free weights. There were only two drawbacks to our stay. The rooms (casitas) are spread out over a large hilly area which meant it was difficult to walk to the lobby, gym, etc. One had to call and wait for a jeep. The other problem was that the hotel is some distance from the center of town and round trip taxi fare was $20-$25.

Las Brisas is the most spectacular 5 star value in the world. We have stayed there over 10 times beginning in 1963, and it only gets better. We will be back next year. They say you can't go back and reclaim past experiences, but this does not apply to Las Brisas.

Hotel Las Brisas is a remarkable and refreshing step back in time. The architecture and decor are a freeze-frame of early 70's style yet the service is quite up to the standards of any traveler today. This isn't the place to go for fancy elegant furnishings, polished brass or lobbies/atriums that are plush. Las Brisas is where you go to enjoy the view from your room (casita) and enjoy the person with whom you are sharing the room. Sure, Acapulco offers a nightlife but at Las Brisas you make your own. It's simply a romantic haven. No, make that heaven.

Las Brisas Hotel was by far the most romantic hotel my wife and I have ever stayed. The views from the room and balcony are phenomenal! If you are planning a stay, I would reccommend the private pool casita's. The pool outside our room was ours and ours alone! The room service was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and accomodating. We are looking forward to returning on several future anniversaries!!!!

The place was very cool. All pink, very classic old mexico and not american-ized. The highlights are the sea pool, La Concha, service and views; the lows are that you have to take a cab everywhere and the bed was good but not great. The prices for room service were very reasonable.

What an unbelievable get-away for a couple. Probably the most romantic and private hotel in Mexico. We recommend it to any couple which wants to either spend their honey moon or anniversary or just a week away from home. The service is stellar, the location is grand and the surroundings are phantastic. Acapulco itself is a blast for any traveller who likes to see the people and the way they live as well as for good dining and sight seeing. Beaches are great but we never bothered to go there anyways. Our personal hotel pool was wet enough. You don't know what we mean? Just go there. You'll love it. BTW. The Expedia crew on site is a nice helpful surprise.

I can't wait to go back. Las Brisas was romantic, lovely, quiet. We were in the beach club so there was very little noise from the outside, the service was wonderful. The room service was prompt and served in style. The only thing missing is a casual restaraunt for dinner - but room service is extensive and prices are reasonable. I am going back - great place to go if you want to spend time alone with your traveling companion - great honeymoon spot.

This was a quick trip to get away and relax, our second to acapulco in 18 months. We decided on thur night at 10pm that we need some R&R. So we booked this get away and at (am the next morning we were on our way. We arrived in the afternoon checked in and were taken to our casita. We opted for the bnrisas beach club level and were surprised that we got a room in the "fort", especially because we booked so late. Our room was newly remodeled with a step down walk in rock shower with a clear roof so you feel like you are outside. Our poolwas wonderful and the veiw spectacular. We went to the beach club on sat. and lounged for several hours under a cabana with lunch and drinks served by a wonderful young man. Service was great...hotel very clean...staff very discreet and we had a great time...definalty the place to stay on future trips. We especially like the no tipping policy at las brisas. The hotel has a $20 a day surcharge per casita and this is a wonderful perk. Even no tipping in the restaurants. Mini bar had very resonable prices. Nice sheets, good towels. Can see why it has the reputation...can't wait to go back.

My new wife and I went to Acapulco for our honeymoon. For the first time I used Expedia for the whole trip, Air, Lodging, and ground transportation to and from the hotel. I have to say, in all my years in the travel services industry (past as I have been out of the industry for several years) I have not experienced a more flawless and easy vacation. Everything was taken care of, follow up by the staff across the board was outstanding. It made the vacation so wonderful as we did not have to worry about all the little things, they were either taken care of or subtile riminders were left. I for one an extreamely pleased and will use the property again as well would and already have recommended the property to all that I speak to in regards to the vacation and their future travel plans to Acapulco

Service is number one at this great resort located in the hills on the south side of Acapulco Bay. The facilities are the best and safest I saw while in Acapulco and this may be influenced by the fact that the property is located away from the hustle and bustle of 'the strip'. There are sweeping views from what seemed like every angle. One of the most unique aspects of this resort is their door to door jeep service. Make a call using the 'magic' button on the phone and within a minute, two tops, you have a ride to anywhere on the property. Check out the sunset bar for unobstructed view of the sunsets. Some units have pools of their own and other units share pools. These are two to four units per pool. I didn't make it down to their beach club, but I heard nothing but raves about it! If I find myself in Acapulco again, there is no other place I will stay!

Las Brisas is a beautiful hotel. The cleaning staff is hardworking and the facilities are wonderful. Our view from the casita was breathtaking. My complaint, I am a single woman who travelled with another woman and I felt the desk staff looked down upon us. They seemed to fawn over men and especially rich looking people. 3 times we had to call to get our complimentary breakfast. But overall, the place was wonderful and we had a great stay.

This hotel awards the guest with the absolute best view of the bay that money can buy. The private pools in the rooms make you never want to leave. The way the "casitas" are situated, total privacy is achieved. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Las Brisas was built in the 1950s and it shows - it is not a highrise pretentious chain hotel. It is simply marvelous. It is very low key and quiet, with the best view available of Acapulco bay. The prices for food and beverage is very high. As it is in the midst of foliage expect to see various 'critters' running around, however I didn't see any mosquitos. There's also many cats on the property, which I really liked. Don't miss going to the ocean pool area.

There were so many small touches that made this place special--fresh hibiscus in your own private pool and in the room every day, continental breakfast delivered to you each morning and placed in the "magic box", and pink jeeps that pick you up at your doorstep at a moment's notice. The service, the view, and attention to detail here were the best.

This hotel is wonderful, you just need to book a private casita and enjoy each other. This was a honeymoon that we will never forget. Most of the time, we felt like we were the only two people on vacation, because everything was so private. Our view of the bay was amazing and the room was great (the beds are a little hard though). The only downfall to this place was the food, room service was ok, but the food at the restaurants is something I would not recommend. However, right across the street is a place called Casanova's (Itallian) that is excellent! Also, within just a 2-3 minute cab ride there are a number of other very good restaurants overlooking the bay.
