When we checked in, we were told they were sold out of the non-smoking room with 2 double beds we had reserved. Instead we were offered a large 'suite' with a couch fold out bed and a cot for an extra $60 charge. When I protested, they offered me a king bed room on the second floor near the banquet facilities and cot for an extra $30. When I protested again, they said they would remove the extra charge, but this was all they could offer. That and the fact they ignored our do not disturb sign, by having housekeeping knock on our door both mornings at 8am was really unacceptable.

An older hotel with a great, central location for sight seeing and shopping. It has many good features such as the indoor/outdoor pool, a well-stocked bar and impressive views of the city.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton in Toronto. The setting is magnificent and its location is perfect for all downtown activities. My only complaints are that the in-house restaurants were a bit expensive, and the air conditioning in the room was not adequate to keep it cool enough. However, the hotel is convenient to cheaper dining downstairs in the underground mall.

Nice view, Nice comfort, Nice hospitality. Nice price. What else do you need? Only thing is we didn't like the cream they provided for coffee. It was awful. they should have placed milk instead of cream. Anyway, thats very minor!

In the center of the financial district, very loud. Can hear all outside noises from room and we were on the 33rd floor. Internet connection is expensive, no wireless service available in room. On the plus side it is close to all transportation and staff is very friendly

Large, bustling hotel, yet the staff was lovely and sympathetic when my luggage arrived late, and insisted on sending me up incidentals (toothbrush, etc.)to tide me over! Very accomodating, in spite of its size. Delicious restaurants (it's pricey in Toronto, though)and everyone throughout was polite and helpful. Location is good, too; hotel is not only close to shopping malls, but connects underground to one! (It can look a little unnerving when you go down to connecting tunnel and shops are closed, though.) The only thing I would change about the hotel room would be to put a fridge in the room, which it lacked, and to make bathtub a little larger. Otherwise, I had a lovely stay, with a large, clean, quiet room overlooking City Hall and the fountains, and a great bed with lots of pillows. I was very content!

this was my worst experience with a hotel ever.very old room. the temperature controle does not work, so i had to stand 78 degree fah with my child who was having fever.the hotel did not send anyone to fix the problem even after multiple calls. you come back to the room to find out that it is not cleaned even in the afternoon. it is supposed to be rated as 2-3 stars hotel. the only good thing about it is the location

This is a fine hotel undergoing a major rennovation. Unfortunately, the place was in virtual chaos; there was no legitimate way to discern where anything was located. The health club was fairly well-equipped with older model exercise machines-some of which were broken and others that were in need of repair. The entrance way was a shambles and an eyesore.

I stayed in the Sheraton for the week prior to New Year's, and aside from some construction on part of the ground floor it was everything I could have asked for. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the maid service was prompt and efficient.
