| We needed somewhere in SLC that was clean and safe and inexpensive. We really only needed a place to sleep when visiting our daughter who war receiving treatment in SLC. Cute delightful "art deco" place, no frills, but well run, nice little continental breakfast. Down side is we found last stay that they are putting in new "tempurpedic" mattresses. Hate those things! Can't beat it if you like the mattresses.

| Very helpful desk staff, who helped me get a refund for the day I missed when I arrived a day late (at a loss to them). The stairwell and balconies could use some maintenence, but the rooms were well-kept.

| Being one block from the light rail fare-free zone was a plus. We left our car at the hotel and didn't have to worry about finding parking around temple square. Not many hotels in this range offer free Internet access and continental breakfast, but this one did. The pillow-top mattress on the bed was quite comfortable and a pleasant surprise. We would stay here again.

| The hotel was convenient to all the places I wanted and needed to go, as it was close to downtown. My only complaint was, because the hotel was full, coming back late at nights, there were times when all the parking spaces were full, and you had to park on the street. But that was a very minor incomvenience.

| I was very surprised to find a hotel this cheap in downtown Salt Lake, and was doubly surprised to find out how very nice it was. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service was good. I highly recommend it if you're just planning a quick stay in the city.

| We needed a room only to change in before an event, so we shopped by price. We weren't expecting the room (and bathroom!) to be anywhere near as nice as the one we received at the Metropolitan. We would definitely go back again, and not just for the price! The desk staff was not only professional but nice, too.
