Okay, so I admit that I didn't have high expectations for the La Quinta Inn but was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the hotel and the level of service. Breakfast was decent and they provided van service to the airport. I was a little annoyed that they charged us $20 to leave our car their over the weekend, but it was still cheaper than airport parking.

Other than being hard to spot from the highway, the hotel was great. The waffle bar was fun and delicious. The room was clean and secure. One of the elevators was not working when we arrived, but it was fixed by the next time we had to use it.

Always a little sceptical about something that you can't see for yourself...but don't be about this hotel. My family and I had a great stay here. The continental breakfast was great, the staff very polite and helpful and we will stay again with no hesitation.

The room had everything that we needed, and it was clean and modern. There is also a continental breakfast that's included, and it turned out to be quite a spread! The staff was friendly, and their shuttle safely took us to and from the airport as scheduled. I would definitely stay there again.

We liked this airport area place so much the first time we stayed a couple of years ago, we've returned twice. Only hitch occurred on this visit, when the very young manager assigned us to two rooms that hadn't been cleaned yet. The worst part was how mortified the housekeeper was, even though it wasn't her mistake. The manager rectified it immediately and offered an upgrade. Being musicians, what we really like is that the waffle breakfast that begins at 4 am (this place is popular with airline crews and making flight connections) is being usually being served when we're just returning from the gig. And even if it's not, the gracious and friendly staff lets us help ourselves. In fact, it's one of the best breakfast arrays and bargains we've found anywhere in the country. Rooms are fairly spacious and well appointed (we had hi speed internet in one) for a motel, too. The only problem was that there had been so much local development since we'd last been there, we got a little lost en route! This is one we plan to return to again.

Because there was no availability at the places we usually stay in Pittburgh, we found the La Quinta at a very good rate on Expedia. The savings offset the distance from our destination in Pittsburgh eastern section. The quality of the room was decent. AAA rates it 3 diamonds. I would have said 2-1/2. But it was clean and the people were friendly at the desk.

The hotel was fine. Nothing too fancy, but a pretty nice place for the price. My one big complaint was that they totally ignored the comment/instructiosn I left with Expedia stating that my girlfriend and I are both very smoke sensitive and they gave us the first non-smoking room next to the smoking section. We didn't notice the first night because of our late evening checkin then headed out early the next morning.. but the second night we were both fairly miserable because of the pervading smoke from the adjacent smoking rooms. We hadn't slept well the night before but didn't really put 2 and 2 together until the second night. By then, we were too tired to move all of our stuff to a new room anyway.Just let them know that it'd be really nice if they paid attention to the comments left via Expedia. Our trip was great anyway, but only partially because of the hotel.. and all the downside of the trip had to do with the smoking situation.

The hotel was well located. I called the local number for directions and they were pre-recorded and extremely accurate. I enjoyed the location as I was not familiar with Pittsburgh or the other surrounding cities and townships. The hotel was clean and easily accessible. Even though it was inclement weather I could park close to the outer door and get out of the rain quickly. My room was located on the second floor and was comfortable and spacious. I was in need of a writin gtable to arrange business appointments and found this to be satisfactory. The onyl improvement that I cound recommend was the need for a small refrigerator in the room. I found that I was continuously refreshing my ice cube bucket to keep my sodas cold. I imagine a small refrigerator in the room could accomodate a significant number of gusets and would certainly help sway my decision in staying at LaQuinta again.
