| All was fine with two exceptions....1) I had requested a room with a king and got one with two doubles. 2) I made a long distant phone call. The party on the other end did not pick up/answer the call. When I received my express checkout bill, I noticed that I had been billed $10.00+ for the call. On my way out I stopped at the checkout desk and questioned the charge. They removed the charge without any hassle. This slowed my morning departure which held up the party traveling with me. Why charge for a service that was not provided in the first place?!

| While the accomodations are in keeping with Hilton standards the restaurant staff need a full overhaul. You get better service in a fast food place.

| Receptionists and Concierge polite but not friendly. First morning, Concierge told us "no place to eat anywhere near hotel, except hotel restaurant". After eating in hotel, found several eating establishments within 2 miles of hotel. Getting a map of DC from hotel was frustrating game of pass-the-buck betwen Concierge and Reception desk. Hallways only picked up once per day. Room service trays sat outside of hotel room doors all day and all night. Pool and fitness center were closed, although advertised as open all year. The room was nice.
