The hotel was almost across the street from subway station and made DC very accessible. It is a little older and showed that especially in the bathroom. Biggest complaint is that there was no sink outside of the bathroom. Complimentary breakfast would have been nicer if had waffles like some other Best Westerns.

After much research, this was the best value. Excellent service. Front desk gave us a map with restaurants marked for dinner in area. We walked to Ruby Tuesday's and enjoyed meal (family of 4). Visited Georgetown University across the bridge and went fishing on the Potomac the next day (caught 3 catfish). Free breakfast and parking was certainly a plus. Don't forget your bathing suits for the pool - it was so hot and humid outside! Only negative was the bathtub needs updating.

The staff was very friendly, some what helpful. The motel is one block away from the Metro Station. We could not check in early, but they locked and stored our suitcases for us, while we did a little sight-seeing, with no problem and felt safe doing so. VERY IMPORTANT, The beds are really really soft! We walked into the room and could actually see the sag in the beds, for being so soft. Our family didn't get a good night sleep, on them for the four nights we stayed. My son ended up sleeping on the floor. I reserved a smoking room, and they were booked: motel front desk "saying since we booked with Expedia, they couldn't guarantee us a smoking room," We asked when one was available and they said in two days, so in two days, we moved to a differnt room, So two rooms with really soft bed. And I heard others complain about the beds around the pool area. I'm usually not that picky about the firmness of the beds. Breakfast consist of bagels, toast, donuts, juice, coffee, muffins, ceral and fruits. Outdoor Pool was wonderful, in temp. Lifeguard on duty, various times when the pool closed, usually around 8 p.m.

Considering its location, this Best Western is in a great position for the tourist of D.C. You're half a block from the Rail which will take you anywhere in D.C. The price is acceptable for a city hotel. However, the hotel could use some maintenance. AND...it was very disappointing to our group that the swimming pool closes at 7pm!!! In fact, one employee was rather rude in establishing that closing time with us! But again, it will be hard to beat the price given its quality location. Room comfort was acceptable.

It was by far the cheapest hotel I found located so close to downtown Washington and what I finally got for the money was more than I expected. The location is perfect, only three minutes walk from the metro station, Gold's gym right across the street, for those who need it. Burger King is also very close. I would definetly go there again. It's the place to be for uncomplicated travelers with limited budget, which don't always try to find something to nag about.

Nice location if you're going to DC (pretty close). Old hotel though and it shows. Staff was a mixture of attentive to horrible. The parking garage door almost came down on my car once because its timing is awful. Security guard just watched it happen without blinking an eye or saying a word. Another time the sign in front of the garage was hanging down in front of the driveway. Security guard couldn't be bothered with that either. If you're looking for a cheap hotel to sleep at and leave the price is right.

I arrived at 11:00 a.m. and was told to come back at 3:00 p.m. for check-in. A man behind the counter told me to put the bag check on my suitcase myself and lift it over the counter so he could put it in the baggage room. When I returned at 2:30, this man checked me in to a room on a smoking floor (and did not note that I had checked "no smoking".) In the room, I believe it was for wheelchair access guests because all the sinks, etc were very low. I was leaving at 4:30 a.m. the next morning to catch an early flight, so I asked for a cab or car service. When I got downstairs there was no car, and the man on this shift had to call a taxi for me. The room was clean, but the wallpaper was faded around all the edges in the bathroom, with some of it curling. The room and hallways stunk of cigarrettes. It was pretty awful.

Great location - accross the street from the Rosslyn Center Metro station and 5 minutes from the mall. Unfortunately, it is going to close on June 1 - razed - and a new condo built in its place. The Metro express shuttle bus to Dulles Airport leaves Rosslyn Center about once an hour. It costs only $3. Beats the flyer or the taxi.

I chose this hotel due to its close location to Georgetown and the Rosslyn metro station. The location was indeed fabulous! A ten minute walk over the Key Bridge leads to Georgetown. One metro stop east and you're at Foggy Bottom, the metro stop for George Washington University and Medical Center. Five stops and you arrive at the Federal Triangle, and the sixth stop is the Smithsonian station. Rosslyn to the Smithsonian station takes about ten minutes. One station south on the blue line leads to Arlington Cemetary. The facility itself is definitely dated. The bathrooms, carpeting, and all furniture need to be totally replaced. I was a bit surprised that this was a Best Western, feeling more like a budget hotel.

The Best Western Key Bridge is located almost literally on top of the Rosslyn Metro Station, giving you almost instant access to downtown DC and the Mall. Georgetown is only a ten minute walk away across the Key Bridge. For the location, the value offered by this hotel cannot be beat. The rooms were typical of what you'd find in a pleasant, mid-range hotel. The bed was comfortable but not keyed to a comfort-number; the towels were good but not plentiful; there was no pool or fitness center. It was, however, more than adequate for a long weekend of taking in the sights and then coming home after a night on the town. I'll certainly come back.

The hotel outside looks a little dumpy to be honest, but the rooms are clean inside. Occasionally the little details would be missed, such as providing sugar and non-dairy creamer packets along with the coffee supplies, but those are just minor things. The only other complaint was a faint musty odor the room had. Otherwise, it was a fine place to store your stuff and a place to sleep, but wouldn't recommend hanging out there.
