| My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. This hotel is located right across the street from the beach, one morning we even woke up, grabbed some complimentary coffee in the lobby, walked across the street to the beach, and watched the sunrise. You will need a car to get to downtown St. Augustine (about 5 miles away, across the Bridge of Lions), but it was never a bother, found great parking options after talking to the knowledgable young man behind the front desk. Make sure to ask for any restaurant recommendations they may have at the front desk, usually they can give you 10% off for referring you. The room service rates were surprisingly affordable since all the food came from the bar/grill next door. We didn't order any, but it's worth noting. There are 4 or 5 bar/grill/nightlife spots within walking distance of the hotel, but we didn't go to any of those either as we spend most of our time in the historic downtown St. Augustine. Overall, very pleased.

| Our experience with the Garden Inn was overall very satisfying. The staff was pleasant, the hotel was a safe and secure place to stay. Also this is one of THE newest hotels on St Aug Beach.(ie. CLEAN) Pleasurable with the Pier and the beach just a two minute walk up 16th street. Breakfast in the lobby was a great value, cleanest kitchen on the beach! Fire station one block north, Cops three blocks west, hospital 8 mins away. For the money one saves staying here v.s. ON the beach, highest regards! Endless hot showers, pool clean and tested daily, nice gym, internet access and biz centre free! Don't be stinggy, tip the staff and they will make you feel like a millionaire.

| My wife and I loved the Hilton Garden Inn. It is right on AIA across the street from St. Augustine Beach's gorgeous white sand beach. It is next door to a fairly famous beach bar/restaurant (the Sunset Grille) which has great food. Also, across the street is a Hampton Inn (also a Hilton property), and you can use their beachside pool and playground as a guest at the Hilton Garden Inn. Hotel was very clean and nice. Free high speed internet worked great. My only complaint -- the hotel recently converted to a completely non-smoking hotel, and I believe our room was a converted smoking room. It still had a bit of a lingering "smoker's smell". The staff was great -- very friendly and helpful.

| In St. Augustine for a family wedding. Sudden change in plans led to the bridal party using my hotel room to get ready for the wedding. The staff went overboard in assisting with the extra needs in the room on short notice. My hats off to the staff. Highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn.

| This hotel was perfect for my family. We enjoyed the breakfasts served at the hotel. Food/variety/prices were great! There was something for everyone. Room was very comfortable. We used the fridge to store a lot of pop/juice/water to drink after spending a day at the beach or poolside. The only complaint about the room was that there was something sticky on the bathroom floor that never seemed to completely go away. Staff was very friendly! Kids enjoyed the pool. Beach access could be tricky. Getting kids across the road in heavy traffic was tough. Some folks were very nice, though, and actually stopped for pedestrians in the crosswalk. This hotel sits next to a fabulous restaurant. The food there is the best I've ever eaten! Loved everything about the hotel and highly recommend to anyone but ESPECIALLY families!!

| What a delightful experience. Off the main drag from some of the bustle of St. Augustine's center--friendly staff, good attitudes and honestly made us feel welcome. Add to that walking across the street to stroll a beautiful beach and it was a wonderful respite.

| Hotel was good value and in a great location - right accross the street from the beach, an easy drive into St. Augustines and plenty of restuarants nearby, some within walking distance. A decent breakfast, continental buffet plus eggs and other stuff, was available in the lobby making the "start" of the day quite convenient. The only drawback was that the heat/air conditioner unit in the room was noisy. Other than that, everything was fine.

| This hotel was definitely not the worst I have ever stayed in! But if you have the idea that because it says "Hilton" in the company name-well, don't get your hopes up thinking it's like the true Hilton's out there. This is the Garden Inn. Meaning smaller, less expensive, but comfortable for the economical price per night. We had a good time and the service wasn't bad. At least there were no bugs or mold like I have seen in many places. It was clean and breakfast was great (though it is not free, you do have to pay) Over all experience was good. Not number 1 top notch, but I am content.

| This hotel was worth every cent I paid. They offered all of the normal amenities plus a fridge and microwave in the room. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach. They also offer a reasonable buffet or continental breakfast. Shuttles pick you up at the hotel door and transport you to St. Augustine's historic district for a day of sight seeing. Loved the trip and hotel. Would go back in a minute.

| Well-kept newer hotel/motel located across the road from the great St. Augustine Beach. Very clean. Only a short drive into the quaint downtown area of St. Augustine. No complimentary breakfast but breakfast is offered on-site for a reasonable price. We did not try the breakfast but chose instead to try the Bunnery in St. Augustine. Would definitely go back, particularly if beach time is on the agenda.

| I had read bad reviews of hotels located in the near proximity and did not choose several for this reason. My husband and I travel for business purposes. We may have different needs and appreciations than people traveling for pleasure. Let me list why we were so satisfied.1.Rooms were clean and in good repair. 2.Rooms were quite large and all furniture looked new.3.Lobby was attractive and presented a comfortable atmosphere.4.Staff veryfriendly and helpful. We requested additional coffee and towels. These requestswere met immediately.5.Small breakfast area with tearoom atmosphere. Breakfast cooked to order.6. Free computer room with computer, printer, paper shredder and high speed internet. 7.Exersice room with equipment in good repair.8.Did not use pool so I can not comment. This may sound too good but I have stayed in so many hotels that are not clean or in poor repair that I have a special appreciation when I find one that is clean and comfortable.
