| The hotel looks nothing like the website. It catered mostly to couples although there were an even amount of singles. The food was okay but I would have like to the menus to reflect more of a jamaician selection, instead of catering to american standard dishes. The rooms were also disappointingly small,in need of repair and not as luxurious as depicted on the website. The beverage cups were inconveniently too small. It was a pain in the neck having to continually go to the bar to get refills. If you want to actually enjoy your vacation go to Negril. Being close to the airport made this hotel to easy to settle for. If your going to spent the money get something worth that's worth it.

| What were people expecting when writing the bad reviews about Breezes?! We had an awesome experience & Breezes was perfect for us. Don't be discouraged by the drive from the airport to the hotel,a lil rundown,& even outside of the Breezes wasn't glitz & glamour but this isn't Las Vegas, once in the hotel you'll be happy you stayed. We were greeted with a glass of champagne. My boyfriend & I were impressed immediately(5 days/4 nites). Our deluxe oceanview room had a great view of the beach & pool paid more but its worth it, the standard rooms were small.Bar drinks were tasty & the staff was friendly (Brian (bar), Donna(desk/mgr), Leroy (check in), & Sweeney (Martinos)-favorites).Food was good, loved Martino's;reminded me of Olive Garden (romantic ambiance). No need to leave the hotel as planned, there was so much to do @ the hotel.1st night we attended the beach party/showcase; was so much fun & we danced, saw a number of acts (singing, dancing,& drummers,Breezes is so close to the other hotels, they would come over @ night to party. There was a poolside band(great reggae). If your an early bird things don't quiet down 'til after 1am.Room was romantic & comfortable,Everything was "No Problem" @Breezes. We already miss the relaxed afternoons laying in the hammocks.Hotel is great for active, laid back couples, young & old. Everything is "Irie" (Alright)@ the Breezes. Let your hair down & relax!!!!

| Bottom line - the hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, very organized, the food was great (and plenty of it), and it wasn't overly crowded. The only problem I had is I did see several kids under the age of 14 on the beach and they did get in the way while playing on their rafts a couple of times. Other than that everything and everybody was Great!

| Our stay at the Breezes was great. Our room was clean and ready when I arrived. The staff was very polite and helpful throughout my stay. The food was okay. I would have liked more Jamaican dishes since we were in Jamaica. We liked the fact that the grill by the pool was open until 2:00 a.m. The prices at the hotel store was a bit over the top. Overall I would recommend the Breezes at Montego Bay to all my friends. Thank you to all the staff who made my stay very relaxing and fun all in one!!! Sign, The 2 tall females and the little one

| After reading a few other unfavorable reviews of this hotel, I didn't really have high expectations, but I also don't consider myself as someone hard to please. However, I will never stay at this hotel again. It looks nice from the outside, but the rooms and facilities are very run-down and need updates and maintanence. We had a deluxe oceanview room and as others have said, even it was small. Our view was very nice, but there was not even enough room for a TV stand so the TV was anchored to the wall. The whole place had a dingy feeling to it. The grounds though were nicely kept and the pool was clean, although small. Staff can be pushy about people participating in entertainment, but were for the most part nice peolpe. Only 2 people I found to be kind of rude. The best thing about this hotel is that it is right on the beach.

| The hotel doesn't compare to the photos we saw online. We were expecting a much larger facility and were disapionted. The room we were given was extremly small and dark. We could have overlooked the size of the room except that it overlooked a hall and didn't really invite opening the window to let any light in. The hotel itself was a bit shabby and rough at the edges and looked like it needed updating. The staff however was extremly nice and very helpful. Check in was a breeze and we were in our room within 15 minuets of our arrival, which is amazing! The food was good considering it was all-inclusive, usually the food at this kind of place can be monotonous and starchy but the hotel did seem to try to have a good variety to offer. The bar service was of course excellent too, quick and friendly. Although we probably wouldn't go back without checking to make sure our room was what we really wanted, I would say that, for what it is, this is a good weekend getaway hotel.

| Let me Start by saying My wife and I had a fantastic trip. First and formost I want to mention the Entertainment Staff, they were extraordinary, they stopped at nothing to make your trip wonderful. The drinks were fabulous and the food was great. I recomend this hotel to anyone wanting to experience the active side of Jamaica, don't get me wrong there is also relaxation to be had if you want it. We will definately be returning if our finances will allow it.

| The hotel was ok - not what we had imagines, and the pool left all lot to be desired. Maybe only 15 lounge chairs and extremely tiny! Food was ok - not the greatest- not the worst. Very good jerk chicken and Jamaican patties at the poolside grill. No waitress service at the pool or beach for drinks - have to trek back to the pool to get a drink - gets annoying! The beach tends to get many locals who keep on trying to chat with you. No courtesy room available if you have a late flight - had to beg and plea. Overall, look around - you can find better for the price you're paying or go to a different country.

| This hotel was a decent place to stay. The ocean view room was worth the extra money. We had a gorgeous view from our balcony. The food is decent, but it is pretty much the same everyday. Also if you want to stay somewhere that is lively at night, I would recommend trying an adult only resort over this resort.

| My husband and I spent a week at Breezes for our Honeymoon over New Years. We were very satisfied with our stay. It is not the biggest or fanciest hotel but overall the service is great. The food was varied and good (not gourmet, but good.) The drinks were great. They have all the topshelf alcohol, you just have to ask for it. The rooms are small, we upgraded to the ocean view room with a balcony. I recommend it as we saw a cabin room and it was really small. We were not in our room much, and when we were, we were on the balcony. The beach is beuatiful, though small. The watersports staff were very friendly and we did some sort of water activity every day. We went snorkeling, kayaking, there is a glass-bottom boat, etc. The pool is small, we never even went in it because we went to the beach everyday. We were there over New Years and they threw a big party with a band and a larger than usual buffet. There is not much of a nightlife, they advertise that there is a casino nearby but it only had slots, no gaming tables, so that was a disappointment for us. Also, the towels both in the room and at the beach could be nicer. Overall, we had a very nice vacation. It would be a great spot to go with friends. I would maybe recommend another hotel for a honeymoon, as Breezes was not the most secluded/romantic place. It was fun and relaxing. I would go back again. For being on the "budget" side it was well worth the money. We did not spend a single penny there and that was great for us.

| Went to the hotel and felt that everything was adequate. We were not terrribly impressed with the buffet, but the food was well prepared and there was a varied menu. The suite was spacious and the view of the water was great. For a modest priced vacation it was very acceptable.

| Initial we were extremely disappointed upon arrival. Our room had been downgraded and was very small. The beach was nice but a very short stretch. However over the course of our stay our outlook improved. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the daily entertainment and activities were not to be missed. We especially enjoyed the evening shows, karaoke in the piano bar and the dance club, and the watersports on the beach. Having a tour agent in the lobby was also convenient. The food at the buffet was very good, and the Italian restaurant on the top floor was excellent. Since we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room it wasn't as bad as we had percieved it would be. I think as long as you go into the trip with realistic expectations,(this is after all Jamaica and not New York City,) and focus on the activities and the culture you will enjoy staying at Breezes.
