| The Prince is a very nice hotel. To the right, it's a few minutes from the main strip in Waikiki and to the left it's a two minute walk to the Ala Moana Mall. You are in the center of everything. THe hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. My room kept clean every day! Great job. Will definately go back to the Prince.

| This is a first-rate hotel with nice clean rooms, great ocean views, and friendly staff. The two restaurants inside the hotel are also quite good. The only problem with the hotel is that it's a little out of the way. It's a long walk to the heart of Waikiki (we walked it the first night--40 minutes--as we could not find a single unoccupied cab anywhere near the hotel). However, the hotel does offer a free shuttle service to Waikiki that leaves every half-hour through the day. Once we got the hang of using the shuttle, transportation to Waikiki was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people who don't mind being away from the hustle and bustle of central Waikiki.

| We were told by friends/relatives that how gret the hotel is. We had great view on 28th and good service for valet parking. However, we are disappointed the room was smaller, window was dirty. Although flyer left in the room on 6/21 notified us that window will be clean on 6/22, nothing happen while we were there until 6/30. Wallpaper were peeling, cracked on the ceiling and water stain spot look like water leaking. Towels were torn and old, someday no soaps left in the bathroom, and we had to ask for it. Overall, we are disappointed.

| Good hotel; comfortable, clean, and friendly staff. Location was good for us; a bit away from the hustle and bustle of waikiki but close enough to all the shopping and sights near waikiki. Good view from the rooms and bathroom was a good size. Standard rooms are small, but not any smaller than most Waikiki hotels. The rooms looked somewhat updated and renovated.

| I was initially concerned after reading others' reviews about diry floors, musty smells, etc. But this was not my experience. The room was spacious & clean - no smells. Staff was courteous & friendly - efficient-super prompt. The open windows feature was great. The bathroom was spacious - separate tub, toilet with extra door, & shower. Fresh robes was a nice touch. Super quiet, with no noise from adjoining rooms. I can't give them enough praise. I'm a home body who never travels but I can honestly say I was made to feel very comfortable & at home at this Prince Hotel. I was not intimidated in any way. They get top rating from me. Kudos to the hotel & staff.

| When I initially booked this hotel I really didn't know what to expect. The moment we walked into the hotel lobby there was sigh of relief and comfort to what we've come to. We we're greeted with hot towels with a very nice aroma. The lobby was very beautiful and clean. The elevator was also very nice, because it is all glass and we were able to overlook a good portion of Wakiki and the mountains all the way up to the 31st floor where our room was located. The room was clean and the bathroom made it all the better. The shower is separate from the tub and bathroom is all tiled. The view from the room out to the ocean and Diamond Head Mountain was nice. Hospitality was great. The two resturants in the hotel is also good. Everyone that worked there were very friendly and helpful. Overall this was a good place to be. Hawaii Prince really made our stay worth it.

| My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a few days after several in a condo in Maui. Wow, what a difference in service moving from a timeshare condo/hotel to a full service 4-star hotel! The bellman Jonathan who assisted us with our bags literally spent 10-15 minutes explaining the safety and convenience features of our room after letting us inspect it to determine if it was satisfactory. He remembered our names the next two mornings as we were leaving and had questions about getting to different places. The desk staff was also highly accomodating giving us a 3 hour late checkout so we could go to Hanauma Bay to go snorkeling our last morning, and still come back and shower. My only complaint was that the bed was a little stiff, and that they don't use "fitted" bottom sheets, they use a standard sheet that they just tuck in on the sides, and it is too short to tuck in at the bottom of the bed. I am 6'1" and my feet were on several inches of bare matress each night after getting settled into the bed. The bathroom in our standard room was super nice. It has a separate stall for the toilet with its own door. Separate shower with glass door. The whole bathroom was tiled. There was also a small illuminated vanity mirror (in addition to the large wall mounted mirror) that is magnified to get a nice shave (or apply makeup for the women). The hotel gives complimentary bottles of dasani water each day, as well as Kona coffee. I would stay at this hotel again.

| This is the second time we've chosen to stay at the Hawaii Prince, and both times we've had a really positive experience. The staff is helpful, especially the ever patient concierge. You have to walk to the beach - but you have your pick of two! (Pick Ala Moana over Waikiki - it's by far the better.) It's also right near the Ala Moana Center and central to everything you might possibly want to do while in Honolulu.

| We were very satisfied with our experience. The staff was friendly and very helpful - although you had to ask, information was not volunteered. Our only area of dissatisfaction was not the fault of the hotel. The city had recently dumped 24 million gallons of raw sewage into a nearby canal and made the beach experience there not one to enjoy.

| The Hawaii Prince Waikiki is a good hotel with a definite Japanese flavor. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Everything was very clean, and the bathroom was above average size. There was a separate shower and tub and the counter and the floor were marble. There was a nice size closet and robes were provided for guest use.We could open our window and the view was great, but a balcony (even a small one) would have been nice. The biggest drawbacks were no continental breakfast was provided and although we saw ads for a restaurant in the hotel, we never actually located the restaurant. There was a small snack counter in the lobby, along with two nice gift shops. Overall, this hotel was very nice and the room was very clean, roomy and comfortable but nothing sticks out in my mind as being spectacular.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept up, but not extravagant. We had a very nice view of the ocean from the large window in the room. This will be our #1 choice in hotel for subsequent visits.

| The Prince Hotel's location was perfect. Close to everything- the beach, Ala Moana mall, nice restaurants, Ala Moana Park, The Ward Center, etc. The service was also excellent, from the hot washcloth at the check-in desk to the valet, housekeeping, everyone was every nice and accomodating. There are marina and ocean views from every room. The pool and spa was secluded on the fifth floor which made it quiet and romantic with ocean views also. The rooms were clean with wide windows that opened. We would love to stay there again.

| Nice hotel, our room looked just like the picture here on expedia. However up close, our room looked a little worn/dated, but overall it was still nice and VERY clean. The room had a nice view of the Ala Moana Beach. Waikiki Beach is within walking distance, however it would be a long walk. We ate at the buffet 2 times, once for lunch and once for breakfast. Both time were excellent. The valet service and front desk people were all VERY nice. They all provded great customer service. There was also an Expedia desk located in the lobby of the hotel to choose and register you for just about any activity you can think of doing during your stay on the island.

We were always treated with respect and they always called us by our names. We were very impressed with the hotel room from the windows that opened to the Marina to the bathroom with a separate shower, bathtub and toilet. Also, The Prince Court restaurant was impressive and the wait staff was very attentative. I enjoyed the fact that we were at the end of Waikiki didn't have to content with all of the foot traffic. My husband is already planning our return trip and the first thing we will do is book the Hawaii Prince Hotel.

They also could not believe how big the bathroom was-and the windows that open and pull back to have the ocean air in your room! What a treat! Fantastic, we cannot wait to go back!
