| I was impressed with the friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. The price was great for such a nice room. The hotel is in a nice area close to downtown. As most hotels do, the shower had low pressure. Great place to stay in Denver.

| I booked the room based on the price verses the other hotels in the area. My only complaint was the rooms airconditioning controls were either centrally controlled (Verses controlled in the room) or the controls were not clearly marked. The rooms were old, but clean and kept up. Overall, a fair price for the room.

| As one reviewer said, for a 2-star rating you can't expect it to be a 5-star hotel. It was very clean, very comfortable, staff was friendly, continental breakfast was delicious (we're sorry we didn't try the Belgian waffles on our 1st morning but we were in a hurry). We hadn't expected a microwave or refrigerator in the room, so that was a bonus. The coffeemaker didn't work but the staff said they would have taken care of that if we'd have let them know. The coffee at breakfast was sufficient for us so it was of little personal concern. Location was good for the activities we had planned, access at first seemed tricky but was easily figured out and was not a problem overall. We would stay there again.

| My only complaint about this hotel is that we requested a non-smoking room. Yet, are only option was a smoking room. Since we had already paid for the room through Expedia, we were forced to stay in it or go somewhere else. We made do with the room by buying spray and having our windows open.

| The hotel was rated as ** but was nicer and kept up better than that rating. The room was above ample for my stay while attending a dance convention at a far higher priced hotel. The room was comfortable and the hotel clean and a light free Continental Breakfast was a nice surprise.

| The pictures on the website are misleading and the rooms are unclean and unkept. The resturaunt adjacent to the hotel closed at 9 p.m. and good luck navigating your way across the intersection to get to those dinning establishments. The furnace kicked on every half hour with a loud boom so needless to say I didnt get any sleep. They should you pay to stay there.

| The hotel wasn't all that bad. Employees were pretty nice. Came back one day from an outing and room had not been cleaned. Called front desk and they sent someone right away. I think they just forgot that room. Breakfast was good! Only bad thing was the bed. My lower back did hurt after the first night. I think they just need new pillows and mattresses. Would recommend this hotel to other people. Thank you!

| I stayed here for 6 days. Good value. Room was clean and included microwave and small refrigerator. Breakfast is simple items, plus Belgian waffles you make which is fun. Seems to be a favorite of families and budget minded small groups. Lots of new commercial eateries and shops just across the street. Negatives: A/C fan noise, ice machine in hall was out of service, door room pass cards often lost memory.

| This is one of the hotels along Quebec that used to serve the old Stapleton airport. As with many of the others on this strip, it's definitely seen better days but the basics are there and prices are reasonable. Its main draw now is the proximity to the new shopping and residential development in Stapleton and accessibility from 70. If you're looking for atmosphere or amenities, you may be better served by some of the larger chain hotels nearby.

| If you are looking to save some cash for a decent room, then the Guesthouse is for you! Staff is friendly, service was good and the rooms were clean and comfortable for the rate. Since I was in town for pleasure and planned on running all over the Denver area, this was a convenient location. Another great convenience was the shopping senter right across the street -with restaurants, a coffee house and a Walmart. The hotel was a little old, but for the rate, it served its purpose well. I would go back.

| If you are on a budget, I would not hesitate to recommed this hotel. We got a very affordable rate for a king size room and a cereal-type breakfast. Don't expect a 5-star hotel, but do expect it to be pretty clean and the employees to be friendly and helpful. Kind of strange that in order to turn on the air conditioning, we had to turn the heater to 90 and leave it there... I had to call the desk at 2am to find that one out. Could be that they just hadn't turned it on yet... anyway, I would stay there again.

| I was pleased overall with our stay at this hotel. It's definitely basic with no frills, but clean and comfortable. The location was good - right off of I70 and easy to get to where we were going. Breakfast selections are good at the beginning but they tend to run out of things toward the end. There is a slight smell of cigarettes throughout the hotel, even in non-smoking areas. For the price, I would stay there again.

Also, the rooms were clean (but a little outdated is all). Also, free computer usage in the business center to check email.

| The hotel was nice, not wonderful, but what do you expect for the price. After I read some of the other reviews I was worried that it was going to be terrible, but it wasn't. The hotel was nice, clean, and it didn't smell like cigarettes throughout the whole hotel. My room was nice and very clean. The staff wasn't the most friendly, but they weren't terrible. The breakfast was OK, but very limited. If you are expecting something spectacular you should go somewhere else, but if you just want a nice place to stay this is the place for you.

| If cost is your only concern, this place is fine. We brought our two young sons here on a recent family trip to Denver and it seemd like a good deal. We were disappointed. The entire hotel, including the halls, smelled of cigarette smoke. Our "non'smoking" room was so bad the first night, we asked to be moved. The second room was not any better. The first room had old fruit behind the curtains and the hot water took forever to warm up. The bedding in one room had cigarette burns in the comforter. If there was a high point, it was the complimentary breakfast. Nothing special, but complimentary. A very dated establishment.

| This hotel was cheap, and you could tell as soon as you walked into your room. In our bathroom we couldn't turn on the cold water, so brushing your teeth was really fun. It absolutely reaked of smoke and filth, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The staff was okay, not overly friendly but definitely not rude. Overall, I would say this is a waste of money, even if it was pretty cheap.

| After a long day of travel, I wanted to take a shower, but the water was a trickle and came to a stop while I had soap on my face. Seems a pipe had broken in a room on the 2nd floor and would be "fixed in 45 minutes." The next morning the water pressure was great, but the experience had already ruined my impression. Also, our "non-smoking" room, as well as the hallway, smelled like smoke and generally felt unclean.

However, the bed was uncomfortable and the area around our room was loud off and on throughout the night (not other guests, but machinery within the building being loud). The staff was polite most of the time, and the breakfast was good. We had a roof over our head and a place to sleep, but no bells and whistles. We paid a very low rate for the room, and we got what we paid for.
