This is nice hotel it has a free continental breakfast and is near everything. My room had a iron with an iron board and a safe. The only problem I had was my room was located next to the stairwell. You could here every person who walked up and down the stairs. So I would suggest you get a room away from the stairwell.

This hotel is very close to Int Drive and I-4. It has the essential for a Disney vacation like fridge, microwave etc. It is not a 5 star hotel but if you are looking to save some money and be close to the attractions this is it. (less than 20 min. to Disney using I-4 wich is 2 minutes away -and 10 minutes or less to Universal)

We got in at 1 pm and room was not ready until 3:30 (check-in is 3 pm.) and there is no shuttle to the airport so we had a $45 cab ride. If you add that to the price of the room, you could probably stay nearer to the airport. Otherwise, if you just want to use it as a base to Disney with a pool, it is fine. Room was comfortable, but no frig. and air conditioning unit had to be unplugged to turn it off.

The Microtel Inn & Suites near Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida is an average hotel. For the price, it is an excellent stay. The rooms are basic, a little worn, but kept clean. They serve a free basic continental breakfast, provide a small safe in the room, and also have a free wireless internet connection. I made reservations online, but when I arrived, the reservations were not showing. The clerk asked for my reservation receipt, made a copy and found me a room with no problem.

This Microtel location looked new and clean yet simply decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful when you talked to them or needed help. They provided only the basic services, such as a lundry service at a neighboring hotel. The only problem was the other customers who stayed at the Microtel. I believe, because of the low cost they attract the lower class. Sometimes people were loud in the hallways and we did not feel too secure. But, we felt better because every night they had a security guard on watch. Overall, our whole stay at Microtel was wonderful. We had no complains at all. Microtel is highly recommended if you want a great value and standard hotel stay. With a large perk, free highspeed wireless internet and free long distance calls (no strings attached)! Over

This was my second stay at a Microtel and I can assure you that I will not be back. For the value, there are far better chains that will provide more amenities, comfort (better bed, pillows, not so rough sheets, etc.) My biggest complaint was the noise coming from the air conditioning-heating unit. After the first night I mentioned it to the desk clerk and I was told that it is a common problem and moving me to another room would not solve the problem. On top of it, they were sold out so a move to another room was out of the question. when I checked in, it took three people approximately 5 minutes for one of them to finally help me. Fortunately I was not in a hurry and bit my tongue. It is obvious that customer service is not high on this hotel chain's list. Lastly, I was there four nights and not once was the carpet vacuumed. It appears this particular hotel caters to many tourists and people who shop at the local outlet malls. Please consider providing larger trash cans for those who need to unpack everything and leave shoe boxes and larger shopping bags out in the hallway.
