We only stayed there a night, and it was okay. We were worried that there would be airplane noise, but there wasn't too much. We didn't get breakfast because we left too early. Only down side is that we lost something at the hotel and it never turned up. Oh well.

First of all the room was booked at least 8 hours in advance. On arrival they still didn't take my info off the fax and have a room ready to check in. I went to my room and with the card to get in the room on several attempts unable to get in. I went back to front desk several times to report cards inactivity. While trying to get in my room (constuction on the roof)dirt was blowing in my eyes. Therefore my eyes got red & irritated. I got in the room finally and there were fumes from the construction. The second night unable to get in the room with the card. Smell of mildew was in the lobby. The picture of the lobby and the actual lobby was nice, but didn't match the the looks of the place. I can go on...but personally i would not stay here again or recommend.

As I said in my title it is pretty basic. You get a bed and a decent clean bathroom. There is also a TV and good mirrors. We were tourists for a week and stayed for 6 nights at this hotel. We just came back to the hotel to sleep and take bath. This hotel met our needs. Breakfast is ok. Next time will I stay in this hotel mmm... that depends on what I am doing at SFO

We needed a relatively cheap and convenient place to crash while visiting San Fransisco and this place fit the bill. Very quick/easy to drive to/from SanFran. Nice enough place (the lobby is deceptively attractive) but rooms are outside access only and not all that impressive. For some reason I think this Hotel is listed as 3 stars--I think that 2 stars would be more appropriate. Also, many of the ice machines did not work.

Cheap, relatively quiet and had a shuttle to the airport and free parking. Room comfort was okay - room was clean. Staff was impersonal. Maintenance was lacking (first room, the door lock was broken; second room the light switch was broken; one ice machine not working) and hall floors were needing paint.

For my recent trip to San Francisco, I spent two days in the city. As a single adult traveller making last-minute arrangements, I found this hotel to be both suitable and affordable for my purposes. I didn't book very much in advance, and I wasn't looking for high-end service. I was merely looking for a clean place to sleep and to leave my bags while I explored the city. In the end, this is exactly what I discovered in staying at the Good Night Inn. The positives for this hotel: The circuity to SFO, and the cleanliness of the facility. It's location, off Hwy. 101 on Airport Boulevard made it a snap to get in/out of downtown San Francisco. The room, though spartan, allowed for a reasonable night's sleep without having to pay through the nose. I found it to be clean and in good order. The negatives in my opinion, largely centered around the state of (dis)repair of some of the facilities. The restaurant was still under contruction when I stayed there, the pool was closed, as was the bar. The rooms could stand to have some updating. There was no convenience store on-site but rather two [somewhat expensive] vending machines instead. In sum, for a person who is looking for a reasonably-priced place to stay with easy access to downtown, The good Nite Inn is a decent choice. Don't expect [as of this writing] high-end service, endless amenities or diversions for yourself or children. Do expect to be in a relatively clean and comfortable hotel. I hope this helps!

The shuttle runs every 30 minutes but it is shared with other nearby hotels. The front desk staff are friendly and check in took only a couple of minutes. There is free coffee in the lounge area but no restaurant. The best feature is the guest laundry room (2 washers and 2 dryers at 1.75 a use).

For what you pay for, it's as good a hotel as any. It's close and easy to get to the SF Airport (the main reason I was there). The lounge/restaurant was closed for renovation when I was there, but many other restaurants are close by. It's a typical airport hotel....

The room descriptions were overblown. The room was a pretty typical hotel room - not all that large with generic fixtures. It was in ok repair but showed long use. The hotel is on the flight path with planes coming over regularly. The lobby is nice. There were several nice amenities for travelers - washers and the like. There was a nice green area with chairs and trees. We had a bit of a problem getting help from the desk clerk in finding the place. Liked having the airport shuttle.

We stayed in this hotel because it offered free parking for 7 days if you stayed one night. We stayed 2 nights - before and after our overseas trip. The first room was quite nice. The return trip room was much smaller, very old and in need of repair - very disappointing. They have a nice continental breakfast, but offer no paper on Sunday! You can't even buy one! Service was okay. I would recommend the hotel for the park free feature only since the pricing isn't bad.

It's true what they say, you get what you pay for. I needed a cheap place and found it. But got locked in my room (maintenance had to virtually push the door in from the outside to get the door to open), I never received my wake up calls and there was no clock in the room. I will say that I complained about this and the morning I was set to leave for the airport ( 4:30am) and didn't get the wake up call, the security person who had overheard me complaining- knocked on my door to make sure I got up and offered to help me with my luggage. Each day I was there I had to get a new key made because mine never worked. I needed to get downtown and was told that I could get the BART from their hotel. This was fine for getting there because I could time when the shuttle would arrive at the hotel then take that to the airport to catch the BART but returning to the hotel was a nightmare. It on average took 20-30 minutes after getting off of the BART at the airport for the shuttle to arrive to take me back to the hotel. The hotel desk would always tell me to when I called for the shuttle to wait and it would arrive. When asked how long, I was frequently told I don't know. It seems to me if the front desk staff have to call the shuttle to arrange the pick up, they could easily ask how long the wait would be. This concept was lost on them. Poor customer service.

My room key didn't work so I was standing there in the pooring rain trying to open the door. When I asked the front desk to assist me, they sent me with a guy who spoke no English and he opened the door with a manual key. He then chastised me in Spanish and then took off. I got a corner room so there was a draft and I could hear everybody talking to the wee-hours of the night in the rooms above me. I would never go back to the Good Nite Inn. Not even if they paid me.

This is a very good new motel. The room had everything you need for comfort. The bed was great. The only unusual thing is that the motel is in 2 parts, some rooms and the office are on one side of Ocean Blvd. The room we stayed in was on the other side. That was ok except getting the Cont. Breakfast in the morning. When we booked the room we requested a smoking room, there wasn't anything that indicated this was a total non smoking motel, but it is. No big deal....just thought I would warn smokers.
