The Perfect Hotel Stay. Normally I am very critical of the hotel's I stay in, but The Fairmont didn't even give me a chance to say anything bad. From the time we drove up to the valet station until the time we drove away for the final time, their service was impeccable. My husband and I were there to celebrate our 1st year of marriage, and The Colonade was the most romantic restaurant I've ever been too. Their Sunday Brunch w/ Champagne was the perfect place to toast to the best year of my life. I would definitely recommend staying there, and my husband and I have agreed that we will be back.

The staff at this hotel was definetly customer oriented. From the time we arrived at the front door to the time we left the staff was excellent. My husband has cancer so we stayed in the area for treatments. The hotel was very accomadating and aware of his needs. Can't say enough about this wonderful hotel.

The location is great, the hotel is very nice. However, the breakfast buffet is a ripoff, check in was handled poorly (we were promised a non-smoking room and then, after a long wait to check in, were put in a smoking room. We were also told that, as Fairmount frequent travelers, local calls would be free, but then found a charge on our bill. It was later removed but never should have appeared.

The Fairmont is a beautiful hotel, and it turned out to be more convenient than expected. Georgetown is only a short walk down M Street, Dupont Circle is also a short walk away, and we managed to walk everywhere else from the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the service was very good. We would definitely consider staying here again our next time in DC.

We arrived late, around midnight. The hotel was severely understaffed; the parking attendant was also the bellhop and also the room service. We waited one hour and had to make three repeat phone calls until we got toothpaste. Staff were extremely nice but good intentions are not enough for a luxury hotel.

everything was just right; the expedia service was flawless and check-in was quick and pleasant. we like to walk so we did! To Georgetown and then for an evening stroll to the White House and on to the Capitol. We got a good price and we had a great getaway.

Very nice hotel, good, friendly staff. They recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner (Sea Catch in Georgetown). My wife said that the sheets could have been nicer, but overall the room was clean and comfortable. Also, the hotel's location is great, as it's within walking distance to many attractions.
