We really enjoyed the hotel and the beautiful view from the partial ocean view. The only complaint would be the noise from the wind and the air gap in the sliding glass door and front door. It made it a little uncomfortable to sleep. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Resortquest Waikiki Beach Hotel.

Liked the hotel's kitschy, fun theme, but found the service to be lackluster. Hotel staff gave the impression they didn't think as much of guests staying in the lower-level 'standard' rooms, and they weren't as helpful as they could have been resolving the few minor issues that arised. The first room we stayed in had a gorgeous view of DiamondHead; we later moved to a different room with a pretty dingy view straight into hotel rooms across the way and right on top of another roof full of pigeon poop.

We did not know if we would like the hotel, but from the minute we arrived from the valet parking attendants, to the front desk, to the house keeping, to the bar tender/waiters. Not one of them made us fell unwanted. They were all so friendly and nice. The rooms were great; we had 4 of us, my wife, me, my 20 year old son, and 18 year old daughter. We had 3 beds made life great. All you had to do is cross the street and there is Waikiki beach. There is everything you needed in walking distance, even if you have bad legs The only thing I could say bad about the hotel is the elevators are not air-conditioned, and are a little slow. When we go back I will stay here again. I thank the staff for being so nice and helpful.

The breakfast on the beach was terrific with lots of options that changed each day. The hotel's location was it's best feature. It's at the end of the stip of hotels along Wakiki beach right next to a park, zoo and aquarium -- easy to walk a short distance and be out of the tourist fray.

Resortquest Waikiki Beach Hotel is great! This was my second time staying there, and I still love their breakfast on the beach! I have to say that you should definitely pay the extra money to get ocean front rooms, it's so worth waking up to the view! Hotel staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about everything. Great having Tiki's and Wolfgang Pucks downstairs...as well as a Coldstones! The rooms were clean and I love the decor, although some parts of the room were a little old. There were some spotches on the walls and some wallpaper peeling. However, the location of the hotel more than makes up for it. The beach is just across the street and is less crowded than the beaches further west. A great place to stay!

This hotel is in a great location at the quieter end of Waikiki. The facilities are lovely - done in a modern but retro Hawaiian style. The rooms are a little small, but very well appointed. Book a partial ocean view room to get the free breakfast. They've set it up to be a "to go" breakfast (individually packed portions) complete with a portable cooler bag in your room. You can take breakfast whereever you want, the beach, the pool or just back to the room. They've switched over to all valet parking - though they will tell you that there is self parking available at their sister hotel (200 yards away). The valets were great and turnaround time was short - even at super busy times. I'd stay there again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very efficient. I even requested a room change to a higher floor which was done. I'd definitely go back to the hotel on my next visit. It was my second trip to Oahu. The hotel has a great location, right across from the beach. You have to cross the street to get there, but there are no hotels in front of you. The beach is one of the least crowded parts of Waikiki. Hotel is clean and well-maintained. The rooms are small with not much storage and need to be updated, but they were clean too. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Hotel rooms are small, not very clean, rooms need construction work, their idea of King size bed is two twins put together with king size sheets. Valet parking is slow for the $15 fee per day. Only good thing is the Tiki bar and grill, good food and staff - but you can access from street, you do not need to stay there to go to restaurant. Oh yeah, stay away from the complimentary breakfast, yuck!

The hotel will go through a complet update and will redecorate all the rooms very soon. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Will not recommend the in house restaurant on the second floor due to very poor service and unappetizing food. There is no parking around the hotel. You must have the staff park your car for a daily fee, but they will readily get your car for you whenever you want, as many times a day or evening with no extra charge. I would stay at this hotel again.

Check in was very easy. Elevators: They tend to be very slow during the day. You will need your room key to get the guest floors Breakfast: The food is quite good. There are healthy choices (fruit, yogurt, cereal). The unhealth choices are very good (french toast sticks, egg-cheese-ham sandwiches). Just be aware that seating by the pool can fill up fast. Wolfgang puck express makes a very good lunch. They are working on having high speed internet to the rooms. Right now i think they have wireless in the lobby area. Recommend the ocean front room. Otherwise you could be stuck looking at the hotel next to the Resortquest and listening to their ventilation system. There is a bus stop for a lot of tours and shuttles right at the hotel. Beach.Across the street.'Nuff said.

The hotel was great, our only complaint would be that they had no parking. There was only valet parking which you are required to use and are required to pay the hotel for and then you have to tip the valet as well. After a week it was very expensive and that amount was not included in what we paid through expedia, it was additional. Great ocean view!

This hotel has a few advantages over some of the others. It is 2 to last at the end of the row of hotels on the beach. This is nice because there is a park right next to it so there were fewer people on the beach. In the park there is the zoo which is about a 5 min walk from the hotel. They give you a little bag to carry there free breakfast to the beach. At the free breakfast they would have a breakfast sandwich, french toast strips, yogurt, and cereal. The restaurant is pretty good and a good deal compared to some of the other ones on the strip.

We visited during spring break. Obviously there were many people, and 4 elevators for 26 floors was not enough. There were times in the middle of the day the waiting lobby was crammed with people, all trying to get to their rooms. Sometimes it was a 10 minute wait to get on one. Plan ahead, don't return between 11 and 4.

Rooms are rather small but generally are very clean. I don't care for the decore of the room but can't complain too much since the location is so good. Using the elevators is a real pain since you need your room key to push your floor number. Stayed there on my last two visits. Don't pay for the room upgrade (oceanfront) those rooms get very warm since the sun is shining directly into the room. The rooms facing west still have ocean views and are cooler.

This hotel is a nice place to stay if you don't want to spend a mint of money. Also the location is great. The restaurants which are in the hotel are very good (Tiki Grill & Bar, and Wolfgang Pucks). The furniture in the rooms may be outdated but you are not staying in the rooms all day long. We had free breakfast by the pool together with Hawaiian music and hula dancing - very refreshing.
