My husband and I weren't at all pleased with our very short stay at La Quinta. We found the roo to be very damp and it just didn't have a clean feeling. We arrived at about 11pm and the crowds hanging out outside were a bit intimidating. We were glad we didn't have our children with us!

This is a nice hotel. Not great, but comfortable. The best part was the free continental breakfast. This really saved us time and money by eating before going to the park.

Just returned from LaQuinta and enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, service was great and breakfast was awesome. Our room was in the back, first floor and very quiet. Pirates Cove mini golf, Dairy Queen next door! Close to Colonial Williamsburg, shopping, dining. Will return to Virginia and LaQuinta!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Internet access was great. The room was nice and comfortable, but some things were well-worn. The location is great, as it's very close to everything. Good restaurants and shopping are right across the street, and much more within a few minutes drive.

The hotel was average. The room was clean and service was good. They have a nice selection for the continental breakfast - that's included. For an older hotel it was fine, nothing fancy. There's a Dairy Queen next door, a plus for ice cream lovers.

We went there on our honeymoon and just wanted a hotel to stay in without spending a lot of money. We drove there from Pennsylvania, so after a long road trip, it was a nice room to walk into! The rooms were clean and very comfortable! It was hot and humid when we went, so the nice air conditioning was a pleasant thing to walk into. You can't beat the breakfast! Excellent choices! Staff was extremely nice and helpful! Would recommend and we will come back here on our anniversary!

The rooms were small we had to upgrade and even that was only a few feet bigger but it did have a couch so we could sit and it was a sleeper so that was a plus. The air cleaners in the AC unit and bathroom hadn't been cleaned all summer there were full of mold and dust. One room smelled because it was so bad. On the plus side the staff was friendly.

Booked this MOTEL not a hotel based on previous reviews. Only good feature is its location, but you can find 10 other HOTELS offering you more for just a fraction more in cost. Not very clean, breakfast was just ok. Two electrical outlets were not working in our room. Strange odor... Overall:substandard.

Overall customer service was extremely poor! No room service and hotel recomended a local resturant that delivered, took two hours and then forgot some of the food order! Room was not particularly clean, spilled substance stains in draws, toilet over flowed and no maintainence available for hours! Garbage and trash left in room by maid who then had an "attitude" when we called to have it removed!

First of all, I asked for a non-smoking room, and was given a smoking room that was reeked of cigarettes. Even the towels in the bathroom smelled like smoke! After being out in the sun all day, I was looking forward to a cool shower, but the water on the lowest setting was so hot, I couldn't even stand under it. Anyone with a small child would not have been able to give them a bath in this room.

I was taken in by all the positive feedback this hotel received on this site. Arrived with the family to a room with a horrible stench, changed to another room to find a rustic bureau draw that was hanging and would not close, (wife almost got hurt dealing with this) more stench of another sort in the bathroom, shelving in the bathroom broken. AAA has this rated as a three star hotel. Maybe in 1974... Time for a major update of rooms and furnishings. I made the call to Expedia to get us out of this booking after spending 15 minutes in Room 2. They obliged.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was really nice - a little more than just the typical coffee and bagels. Nearby all attractions - Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, President's Park. Pirate's Cove mini golf next door. KMart behind the hotel.

My friend and I chose to stay at the La Quinta based on the high reviews from other travelers that I saw on Expedia.com. Unfortunately, it left a great deal to be desired. While I found the rooms to be clean, some of the service was lacking. The walls between the rooms were thin and we were woken up three days in a row by our next door neighbors alarm clock which played bad 70's music for an hour every morning. While we were able to eventually change rooms, the staff was less than understanding. The continental breakfast was fine but the woman serving the breakfast was so eager to leave the room that she vacumed every morning while we ate breakfast, which I found fairly irritating. When we do return to Williamsburg, we will stay elsewhere.

Very nice and courteous staff. Willing to accomodate and provide information of surrounding eateries. Great breakfast that comes free with stay, served from 6:30am to 9:30am. Rooms were fairly clean and pretty decent in size. Great location and in close proximity to all area attractions. Chicago bar and grill, Hooters, Dairy Queen and Cracker Barrel all within walking distance from hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

I thought the La Quinta was in a very nice location, being just down the street from Colonial Williamsburg and a Cracker Barrel! The hotel management was very nice, and the room was quite clean. The towels were kind of coarse, though... they could've used some fabric softener. And I wasn't crazy about the overly-soft pillows. Their complimentary breakfast, however, was REALLY good! I appreciated the wholesome variety they had, and it was all really fresh. I'll definitely be staying at the La Quinta again next time I'm in Williamsburg!
