The hotel needed to be updated, but the food, service and the staff was great. The beach was excellent, as was the pool. We had a great time, and Would recommend this hotel . They had good entertainment and a nice casino. Water sports were good, but a little pricey.

We were shocked at how uninterested in service the hotel staff was. The bar service was slow and at times not worth the effort. The hotel needs to be destroyed and replaced with something else. The real estate is worth far more than the building itself. The buffet food was a huge disappointment and reservations at the good restaurants were difficult to come by. The check in process was excruciating after a long day of travel. Overall, the Radisson Cable Beach resort and staff was a huge disappointment.

First of all, the rooms are very worn out, but they are aware of this and are beginning a remodeling project. The beach is great, very soothing. The employees are nice and quite helpful. We found if you're nice to them, then they are nice to you. I'm sure they've had their share of "Ugly Americans." The grounds are well-managed and fun to walk on. Over all, a great time was had by all! We are really glad we picked Cable Beach. Visited Paradise Island's main attraction and it seemed like a shopping mall crossed with Vegas.

I was in the Bahamas for a friend's wedding, which was absolutely gorgeous, but the hotel was lacking. The service was very slow, the waiters were rude, and the hotel had this overall musty, gross smell to it. The food was absolutely horrible. Cable Beach was beautiful and the pool and ocean were very nice, however, the hotel did take away a bit from the overall experience.

The fact that this hotel is right on the beach is the best thing about it. Its a lot calmer here than on Paradise Island, but the hotel really needs to be upgraded. In addition, we were amazed at how slow the check in process was and how rude some of the restaurant staff were.

The pools and beach are great, but the service in all areas other than the front desk was very slow and unfriendly. The room was small, especially the bathroom, but basically clean except we did not have our room cleaned or receive fresh towels one day. The food was average-we had dinner 2 nights in 2 different restaurants, but decided to go offsite our last night for good local seafood. For the money, it did not meet my expectations and I would probably not return to this hotel.

This was our first visit ever to the Caribbean and we loved this resort. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, the food was excellent in the four main reataurants, lunch was great at the outdoor snack bar. The three pools were beautifully landscaped, the beach was clean & well-kept. Every night there was entertainment in their lounge or outside by the beach bar or poolside. They had an outdoor show and dinner Thursday night with a fire dancer, limbo show, live band and a sampling of their Junkanoo Festival. Great night! We loved this place. it was beautiful, peaceful, perfectly located, great golf!

The Hotel is a decent place to stay. The rooms were in fair condition, could use some maintenance. The light in the bathroom worked on and off. The view of the ocean was spectacular. Service of the staff was very friendly. Check in took about 30 minutes. I would definitely go with the All Inclusive Plan as everything could be pricey. The food was fair at most. Never a problem to get a drink. I would definitely recommend making reservations days in advance. Avocado's was the best place for dinner. The Dinner Buffet is average. Overall the hotel is nice but could use some upgrades/remodeling.

I was at the Radisson 5 years ago and thought so highly of it, returned for this trip with my daughters. I am sorry we did. Although the Radisson has the best beach on that side of Nassau, the resort itself was a bit let-go. Check-in line was over 45 mins. The phone in my room was non-functioning my entire trip even though I reported it within one hour of check in. The patio door was broke & would not open & the bathroom door would not close. Very diappointing.

Whoever writes a bad review about this hotel is rediculous. For what they charge, it is absolutely worth it. I stayed March 8th - 12 '06, and it was absolutely awesome. The room was clean, the bartenders were really nice and really funny, the food was great (didnt even make reservations the whole time, they just let us in whenever), you can drink the water there, and the beach is incredible. Definetally go all inclusive, we didn't have to pay anything extra when we checked out, just $6 for a phone call I made to the US. The only thing some people may not like is there is Bob Marley type music playing rather loudly on the beach ALL day from the bar, but I liked it. There is also in house dial up internet for 10 bucks a day, works great.

This hotel was great for the money! The hotel's restaurants served typically hotel food, nothing special. But if you drink a lot, or on Spring Break the all-inclusive is the way to go! The service was okay, everyone was nice, but always sending us somewhere else to get help. The beach was great, lots of activities are offered like banana boat rides, jet skiing, parasailing etc. The straw Market was a great place to get jewelry and handbags. Take the #10 bus for a buck! Overall, a wonderful vacation!!! Great for young couples!

Clean rooms, but some repairs needed. Decent food (and plentiful), but not excellent. And you have to wait on lines to fill out slips of paper before going in to eat at the buffets. Long wait for drinks. Staff and service were overall very good. Beach is beautiful, and pools, jacuzzi, landscaping, all very nice. Largest beach in Cable Beach area, and always a lounge chair available. Very, very expensive outside of your all-inclusive resort for dining and drinks. Johnny Canoe's has $16.99 chicken fingers. What a bargain! I hear nearby Sandals is very good.

The hotel is spacious and the beach is great, but the room had mold on the shear, the bathroom although relatively clean was in poor shape, the plumbing loose in the shower the shower had next to no water pressure and the most uncomfortable toilet seat I have ever sat on. The staff was helpful but most everything opens late and trying to get restaurant reservations is ridiculous. Stay away from the outside bar the service is much better inside. There is no heat in the hotel, if you get there on a day, which I'm sure are few, that it is in the 50-60 degree range, the room will be the same temp, bring a sweater.

Just back from the Radisson, Hotel food was good-make sure you book into the restaurants for dinner, three nights at a time. The buffet for lunch is good, not great for dinner. The staff is pleasant, the room is a bit beat-up, we had to pay for a fee for a security fee for the room-we complained they took the charge off. Overall The rate is a good deal for everything included. The bar serves brand liquor or cold Heinken Beer, the beach is hot and the water crystal clear-no problems man!!!

This hotel is excellent for the couple who is looking for a great beach, nice pools and excellent service! Everyone was so polite and friendly. We really enjoyed this place because it wasn't too much or over the top. We live in NYC and the LAST thing we wanted on our vacation was to be putting up with some Primadonna Manhattan Mother with 2 children, 2 Nannies and a slew of nasty remarks, complaints, and loud obnoxious tantrums. We will be going back to this place! We had a simple vacation with plenty of activities. I think our only complaint was that the air conditioner seemed to be too high at times.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a very family oriented hotel, so if you are young and single the lack of night life could be disappointing. The food was pretty good overall. Breakfasts and lunches were pretty typical "hotel food." I would not recommend Amicis for dinner- very slow service and the food is very disappointing. Avocados has wonderful food, my fiancee and I had wonderful dinners there, and the service was very good. Islands was good too, but Avocados was the best by far, but difficult to get reservations at. You must make reservations for all the dinners in advance, and can do it up to two days ahead, and I'd highly recommend that. All in all, a fabulous deal, especially considering how expensive the Bahamas can be. If you are thinking about traveling to the Bahamas, doing the all inclusive trip is the most affordable way to go. I would highly recommend the Radisson.

My girlhood friend and I celebrated our "50" birthdays together on this trip. We loved the pools and the beach...these were especially clean! Our room was fine, considering the amount of time spent there! Yes, the hotel does need some "updating" as others have reviewed. I was apprehensive after reading other reviews, but we found our trip to be most relaxing and enjoyable. Employees were very nice. Be sure to "reserve" restaurant seatings early in your stay. We were "closed out" of a number of places because we waited too long! The Crystal Palace Casino was undergoing a renovation while we were there. We still found places to gamble and the last night we were there, we noticed many new slots had been installed. We had a great time and it was very convenient to take the $1 bus into downtown Nassau. A cab ride to Atlantis is about $18 and well worth the trip! While at Cable Beach, we witnessed at least 10 weddings..all were beautiful. It seems that this area is very popular for "destination" weddings.
