| This hotel has a modern decor from the lobby to the rooms, and hallways. The bathroom was great with the heated floors and the large soaking tub large enough for two. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly with dinner reccomendations as well as directions. The location is great less than a five minute walk to the Funicular to take you to "Upper Quebec". Great location

| This hotel is in a perfect location in Quebec's Basse Ville, it is near restaurants, museums and shopping. The room was large, comfortable and the bathroom is very modern with a big deep tub. I can't wait to return.

| This hotel is very modern with recent and convenient facilities (large bathroom, cozy reading area, comfrotable beds...). It is extremelly well located (a lot of restaurants around and a walking distance from museums and Frontenac castle). Service is great and very responsive.

| Great lobby with 3 cozy fireplaces. Staff was very accommodating. Ruins throughout were terrific and there was a great deal of attention to detail. Our room was a bit snug with 2 kids but the staff turned the sofa into a bed for my 3-year-old.

| This is a very beautiful hotel, which takes excellent advantage of archeological finds from the site. It deserves an award for best lighting design in a hotel. The restaurant is fantastic. However, they could afford to pay more attention to practical concerns. Lighting and electrical plugs in the room did not work and they were never able to fix it. Heating was difficult to operate and control. The bathtubs are way to large for an average person to soak in comfortably, although they would be great for a professional basketball player. The high sides of the combined shower/tub will also pose serious problems for some disabled visitors. My elderly arthritic mother had a terrible time getting in and out. Their Internet access requires you to go through their designated website, so make sure you have good anti-virus and anti-spyware software in place.

| We stayed here from 11/14-11/18/2005. Everything about this hotel from the moment we walked in (multiple fireplaces and inviting seating area in the lobby, gorgeous light shimmering tapestries, the artifacts displayed in beautifully lit cases in the wall, etc) took our breath away. We were equally impressed when we saw our room: modern furniture, comfy bed with down comforter, modern bathroom (with heated floor tiles!) and huge, deep bathtub. Outside of every room there is an artifact from the original site the hotel was built on enclosed in a lighted glass case. I should mention that our room was small -- but not uncomfortably so. We booked through Expedia and got a reduced rate -- I've heard that some of the higher priced rooms are even more spectacular. Our view was of the stores and cobblestone street across from the hotel. This was fine with us. When we first pulled up, I accidently walked into their associated restaurant, Panache. Wow. The place is stone walls with wood beams, more fireplaces, glass decorations hanging from the ceiling -- truly a warm and inviting place. We ended up eating breakfast at Panache twice during our stay, and we also had a few of their dinner dishes delivered via room service for a late night snack. The food and service were excellent and reasonably priced for hotel food. We will be back whenever we get to Quebec City.

| I loved this hotel. From the front door to one's room, this hotel is delicious. It feels very private and cozy. Lots of personal touches. Loved the decor. Great location for visiting Quebec on foot. The best restaurants are nearby.

| The Auberge Saint Antoine was a marvelous hotel. At first I hesitated at the cost, but the stay was definitely worth the extra few dollars. The room was decoreated in a very modern style and although it lacked storage space for clothes and one had to rearrange the contents of the minibar fridge to fit a few items we bought at a market in it, all my expectations were met. The views are somewhat less than stunning, but in the tightly packed streets of Old Quebec, this is perfectly reasonable. The incredibly large bathtub and shower area, which contains a tub that could accommodate an pro basketball player's height was the highlight. The staff were very helpful and curteous, even coming back in the evening to make up the room when we had accidentally left the do not disturb button on. Incidentally, there are no traditional door hangers here. There are two buttons (one bedside and the other by the door) that activate a light on the door that signals green for housekeeping requests and red for do not disturb. While the hotel itself is worth the extra dollars, I wouldn't spend the money on the continental breakfast option available at the hotel. While it was certainly good and provided a great variety of pastries, breads, fruit, cereal and yogurt, it wasn't worth $16 and even more if you chose to have an egg or two with your meal. There are too many fine restaurants that serve breakfast in the area to justify such an expense, particularly if you stay longer than one night.

| This is a small boutique hotel located in a quiet part of the historic district. Don't expect the usual hotel, this is a very modern and hip hotel that is catering to the young crowd. This hotel is totally fresh without all the stuffiness associated with similiarly priced and rated hotels. Finally, a hotel for me and my generation and not my parents. Check it out.

| Would give this hotel my highest recommendation. Comfort, amenities, design, decor and service were all top-notch. The heated bathroom floors make quite a difference. And the hotel's restaurant, Panache, is excellent. Wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else next time I'm in town.

| This hotel combines the modern luxury of today and a journey through history. The artful display of original artefacts throughout the hotel was like staying in a comtemporary museum. The room was spacious with its high ceilings, very modern amenities and decor, and an original stone wall to remind us of the past. The service was also excellent. We would stay there anytime.

| Perfect in all dimensions. Quite likely the best hotel I stayed in, and I stayed in quite a few. Very well appointed with expensive contemporary furnishings and efficiencies. Very comfortable bedding. Check out the dining hall and have a cup of coffee there - enticing couches and stylish central glass fireplace; the food is just good and you may find more remarkable dining elsewhere.
