| House keeping staff has real trouble working at this hotel, as it seems. My second day I had no housekeeping, the third day I specifically complained about this and they cleaned but below average at best. Elevators are extremely slow. Although the property is being sold as 3 star but it is hardly a 2 star. North Myrtle beach has better quality hotels at better pricing.

| Super nice hotel to stay at with or without your kids (we had ours with us). We were glad there were so many things to do right there instead of having to travel to do things. This is a great place to stay...all the comforts of home.

| Myrtle Beach is our favorite family vacation spot. We've stayed at the Coral Beach several times over the years. During our stay this year we looked at other places for next year. They didn't give us the room we booked, it took a complaint to the manager to get the room we booked. It is in a wonderful location with wonderful potential but it is not being maintained very well. The rooms are tired and old, the carpet looked old, there were constant problems with the elevators resulting in long waits for an elevator. When I tried to watch the NASCAR race on Sunday neither of our room TVs would get all of the cable channels. It took 3 calls to the front desk and a complaint to the manager to get maintenance to our room hours later. The race was over by the time the TV's were fixed. Their rates are among the highest but we found after looking around that there are other places that are better maintained, newer, more comfortable, and even cheaper.

| We were very satisfied with the overall appearance of the hotel. It is right on the beach and the bar is the place to be. All the elevators work fine-you just have to be patient in the summer. The staff is courteous and helpful. The hotel has very clean indoor and outdoor pools. The location is very close to parks and resturantes. We had a plumbing problem in our room, but it was fixed in 5-10 minutes. I can see why the Travel Channel rated this the #1 place to stay in Myrtle Beach. This was the best place that we have ever stayed at in Myrtle Beach-even with the plumbing problem. I doubt that you would be disappointed here. You will want to come back.

| Overall a nice hotel. As far as the price, it's a little high but you get what you pay for. Had no problems at the hotel. They had a good staff and checking in and out was fast. Very good location at the beach, your close to to almost everything. A great place for the kids.

| We enjoyed the facilities very much although parking was difficult and the room service is slow. part of the problem was that the person servicing the room did not understand english so when I requested the room be finished prior to noon she still came in around 3.

| Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel, room, and pools all clean. Entertainemt excellent. We picked this hotel through Expedia and were thrilled with our choice. Nice to have a parking garage. Only downfall, elevators slow, I will go back to this hotel, but ask for lower floor so we can take steps.

| Not to bad overall. Kind of an old hotel but kept up decently. The pools were great. Cleaned them constantly and didn't overpower you with chlorine. Stairways and hallways did smell. There is outdoor carpet everywhere so it does get smelly.

| My family had a great four night vacation at Coral Beach. Yes, the elevators are very slow and the resort could use a little bit of updating overall. However,it has everything a family - needs - convenient access to a nice beach, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, game room, bowling alley, beach bar with live entertainment, restaurants, comedy club, etc. Our one bedroom ocean view suite was nice and clean. The location is very close to all attractions and services, but not in the middle of the major commotion either. Concierge desk very helpful with obtaining tickets to shows and attractions. Highly recommended.

| The hotel was good, not as upscale as I thought. Seems like an older hotel. Not too much of a buffet person. Only ate in the restaurant for breakfast, and it wasn't that great. Beach bar was fun, but karoke was loud.

| The hotel is a great price for what you get. With two young children it was great to be right on the ocean and able to come back easily for naps and food. The kitchen made it possible to stay in for some meals and snacks - less cost and less hauling everybody everywhere. Area seemed safe and not very noisy. Hotel food as well as the cleaning staff were very accomidating.

| I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The sheets were a bit dingy and the pillows were flat. The pull out wall bed was not comfortable and had dust and dirt all behind it. The bathroom floor could stand some waxing, but the room did have new carpet and curtains and the oceanfront view was amazing. The bowling alley and game room was alot of fun with good music. The hotel has a store on the sixth floor and has everything you would ever need in it. We hardly had to leave the hotel. They have washers and dryers on the fourth and eigth floors. Those came in handy before going home. The restaurant had excellent food, but be prepared to pay the price. The pools were great. The outdoor entertainment wasn't bad either. The staff was very friendly, but they do not have anyone to help you with your luggage. Overall, we all had a wonderful time. It's a great place for children, mine can't wait to go back. We definitely will.

| Our stay at the Coral Beach Resort was great! We were well taken care of by the staff. My only complaint was the condition of the bowling balls at the resort bowling alley.Pretty bad. But we just played for fun and it didn't matter.

| This was a great Hotel! It was an anniversary trip for us without our children! We had the best time sitting by the oceanfront bar! With the live music, and even went up to the bar on the 6th floor and seen a comedy show. But we can't wait to go back with our Kids! There is so much for them to do at the hotel, you never have to leave. It is a great hotel, we had a blast!

| Coral Beach Resort was a great place to stay. The only downside was when you're on oceanfront, there is a live band that plays every night until 11 p.m. and that wore thin because of the loud noise. Stopping the band at 10 p.m. would have been better

| This was the second time my husband, son and I have been down to Myrtle Beach within the last 5 months and I was the better of the two. The hotel had a general store, a bar, restaurant, as well as entertainment. Everything was within a couple of minutes from my hotel door. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The room had more than enough room for my son's pac-n-play. I would stay at this hotel again.

| I liked the hotel because it had something for everyone in the family. They parking garage was a plus for us because we have young children. Our daughter loved the bowling alley,arcade games, and of course all of the pools. At night we hung out on the lower patio and listened to the karoke singers at the hotels beach bar. We were close to attractions and restaurants.

| The weather was wonderful while we were there, but,had it rained, we would not have run out of things to do. The pools and the lazy river were great! Great for families and all ages! Only complaint: The bowling alley needs extensive repair, the floor on the approach was so dry (no wax) that making an abrupt stop on the approach, I nearly threw my arm out of socket.

| When we checked in there was no coffee pot in the room. Called & one was brought up later that evening. Later, discovered there was not a remote control for the TV. Called, again, and one was brought up within the hour. All staff was EXTREMELY pleasant & eager to please. Nice family atmosphere.

| We thought labeling the "get you into a time share meeting with the lure of free tickets booth" as the concierge desk to be extremely misleading. It is located right across from check-in, so beware. Also, there is absolutely NO hotel staff stationed around the indoor pool. A group of adults were playing a VERY rowdy game of football in the pool with several small children barely avoiding getting whacked with the ball or a big adult. I had to ask an elderly pool maintenance man to ask them to quit, which turned out to be an ineffective request.

| We had a great time. Lots of stuff for the kids to do. Price was great for the room we got. I really can't imagine how slow the elevators are at a busy time of the year. They are extremely slow. We were on the 9th floor and we took the stairs several times. We took a taxi to Broadway at the Beach at night and went to Crocs Dueling Pianos. I highly recommend we had a great time.

| The Hotel was very satisfactory. The view was awesome, and the pools were great. The Hotel staff was very helpful. My only complaints are that the elevators were extremely slow, at one point we had to wait 10 minutes and this was not during the busy season. The bowling alley was disapointing as well. They need to spend some money and improve the conditions of the alleys. If you are a bowler do not bother bringing your own ball. The alley does not have any oil and is very old. Other than those two complaints the stay was great. I recommend this hotel and will stay at it again.

| Checked in at 3pm to room 528, room not clean bed not made, called front desk they told me to come back to the lobby and get a new room. Room 426 same things, bed not made and messy. Called front desk I vowed I would not go to the lobby and they would come to me; they did... Room 626 Bed was made; table had some dust on it. Toaster upside down... But at this point at I was done trying to get a new room. Went to take shower and lucky me no towels. Called front desk and very nice maid came to the room and brought me towels and a new toaster. From what she stated they had been very busy. I will say the water views were very nice and the staff seemed nice as well.

| The suite was very comfortable and the view was magnificant. Because it was the off season there weren't any crowds or waiting in line. The hotel is right in the middle of the beach, and within walking distance to pretty much everything.
