This was a great value quality experience with a great view of Disneyland fireworks and California Adventure. It is a long "one block" from the hotel to the Disneyland parking lot where we were picked up by a tram, which conveniently ran with virtually no wait. The hotel staff was exceedingly helpful and accomodating for our special requests. Quality of food was the only complaint, but room service personnel made up for it. The children enjoyed the pool and sauna, and the poolside bar was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for those visiting Disneyland and California Adventure.

This hotel is well within walking distance to Disneyland- about 1/2 mile each way. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We checked into our room at 10am before we went to Disneyland. We were very surprised and excited to see our room included a room with a balacony and view of their wonderful pool area. They even brought up a crib to our room at 10:30 at night. This hotel is a great value for the money we spent. We will definately stay here next time we come to Disneyland

The hotel was shut down for 6 months for renovation. Just reopened in June 2006. The decore is modern and new. We had a great view of the Disneyland fireworks from the room balcony. The only problem I had was room size, it was small and the bathroom is really tiny.

I liked the hotel. It was a bit run down in the rooms but still very clean and comfortable. They charge for parking and I thought that was very stupid! The coffee shop restuarant had very good food and very reasonable in price. The best part of the hotel was the balcony and the view it had. You could enjoy the room with a nice view and sit on the balcony.

My Family lives in the San Francisco Bay area and we travel down to Disneyland Resort at least once a month to 'get away', so you could call us 'experts' in this area. We have stayed at many of the different hotels in the DisneyLand resort area and the Coast Hotel is our favorite. The price is very competitive and the quality of service and ammenities are just as good as some of the other hotels charging 50-100% more. The only negative thing that I can say about the hotel is that it becomes a haven for teenagers during long weekends and team conventions (it is adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center) -- it's popularity with the younger crowd stems from the affordability. Despite this, the hotel does a fantastic job keeping these teens under control and we have never experienced any inconveniences due to it. The hotel restaurant (a steak restaurant) is somewhat pricey but there are ample alternatives nearby. Our favorite features at the hotel include the beautiful resort-style pool and the breath-taking view of the DisneyLand park which has probably the best view of the nightly fireworks every night. From the comfort of our bed, we can watch an unobstructed view of the fireworks show each night. The kids love it -- and so do Mom and Dad.

The Coast Anaheim Hotel is a good value, especially for the location. Close proximity to the Anaheim Convention Center and quality service/accomodations make this hotel choice for business trips. Each room provides access to a full size or step-out balcony for you to enjoy California weather. All hotel staff were very friendly. Associated restaurant/cafe were good quality. Hotel highly recommended, esp. for business travelers frequenting the adjacent convention center.

My wife have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and have found to be a good price for what you get and it is not to far away from Disneyland. Yes like other reviews I have read it is a little older but not bad for the amount of traffic it has. We have had no theift problems like some other places in the area ( in room or out). Point blank, straight foward I think it is a good place for the money and will continue to return again and again.

This hotel was amazing from the start. Came right in and gave the woman in the lobby my ID, within 5 minutes my girlfriend and I were on our way to the room. They were even nice enough to ask whether I wanted a lower or higher level room, then asked whether I wanted to view the pool or Disneyland. So after getting exactly the room that I wanted, everything else was awesome. No complaints on the room or anything else. Staff was real nice and helpful in arranging for outings. Would recommend to anyone

We had 2 rooms since we brought the children as well as my aunt along. The hotel accomodated us with adjoining rooms. The only unfortunate thing was we weren't able to get adjoining rooms as well as a Disney view. The pool was heated and the hottub was great. The onsite Steakhouse was good as well. No complaints, we had a great time and were treated well by the staff.

We chose this hotel because it is dog friendly and in close proximity to Disneyland and California Adventure. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the hotel clerk put us into a smoking room without having asked us if we were interested in a smoking or non-smoking room. The smell of smoke in the room was overpowering to the point where we had to keep the sliding door open. The next morning, the hotel manager accomodated our request to be moved to a non smoking room. Otherwise the rooms were adequate, but not impressive. Clean, but not especially comfortable. Room service food quality was above average in our estimation. Close proximity to the parks was a plus.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Coast Anaheim Hotel. The only things we asked for were a non-smoking room, which we got, and some extra pillows, which were brought up to our room very promptly. The only negative mark is you have to pay for parking ($8/night), they should validate if you stay there, but they do give you a card to swipe at the gate for easy access and exiting. And you pay for parking when you check out (12:00 noon), which is convenient.I actually tried to make reservations directly to the hotel but they were all booked. Expedia had availability so that's why I booked through them.Overall, a no-hassle pleasant stay.

This hotel (on the right weekend) is an inexpensive place to stay near Disneyland, however it's old & so are the things in it. The room was ugly, furnishings old. The arcadia window to my balcony leaked air & rain. Forget about using the main elevator for any kind of convenience. The only elevators in use were at either end of the floor. The service is decent. They actually answer the phone when called & promptly delivered extra towels & pillows when asked. For the $ we paid that weekend it was decent. Juts ugly & old.

When checking in, the clerk went out of her way to offer us a room with a great view to watch the fireworks from Disney. This hotel did not meet the star rating it was given. The rooms are dreary and the beds old. I liken it to Circus Circus. Also, the elevators move very slowly, no really, very slowly, so you need to add 15 minutes to your travel time just because of that. I asked for a balcony, and was given a sliver of cement that extended out 8 inches at best. I have stayed at far better places for less.
