For the money... this hotel is old, in need of remolding, and the rooms are small... They charge $10 dollars a day for parking... Although the parking would be the best feature of this hotel.

All of the employees, even the maintance man in the halls, were all very friendly. The room was OK. Very cheap and uncomfortable bedspread. No fridge or microwave, but I am sure they were available on request. Every thing was very clean and still a good value for a room in LA. Our truck was too tall for their parkade and they let us park in the 20 minute zone in the lower parking level. Room service availble, but we didn't use it. Did not eat in the restaurant.

We stayed overnight prior to/after a cruise. We had a King sized bed. Room was clean and comfortable. The business center was easy to use, but can be expensive (site operated by 3rd party vendor). This Hotel is close to the airport, but not in a flight path. The shuttle leaves the htl for the airport every 1/2 hour on the 1/2 hour. No issues getting shuttle from the airport to the hotel.

The windows do not seal tightly, which allows a lot of noise in. Most importantly, one stays at this hotel for the shuttle service to and from the airport. They do not run nearly enough shuttles from the airport back to the hotel, so you will wait a while.

If you need a hotel that's near the airport and aren't interesting in luxury, this is your place. It's by no means a dump, but it's certainly no chic, upscale place either. There's a free shuttle from the airport--they say it comes by every 1/2 hour, but I waited 40 minutes for one to come, even after I called them! The staff was decently friendly, and the breakfast was good and inexpensive (no, there's no free continental breakfast). There's a pool, but it's outdoors. It's clean, but aesthetically, the surroundings leave something to be desired.

The T.V kept turning back on after you turn it on but the rooms were good size, very clean. the bathroom was clean as well. Overall it was a good.

If you like your hotel creepy, stay here. The elevator would randomly stop other non requested levels on the way to my destination. The TV would turn the volume up by itself. Hot water pressure in the bathroom was non existant. The zero button on the phone was broken so we couldn't call the front desk. And if you do stay here, NEVER order a roll away bed. Sleeping on nails is more comfortable.

Having stayed in other hotels rated 3 stars, I was expecting nice surroundings, plenty of space, possibly a refrigerator and a computer, etc. What I got was a tiny room that reeked of cigarette smoke even though I asked for a non-smoking room. The walls were paper thin and I could hear normal conversations quite easily from the next room. The hotel is in a not-so-nice part of town, I would not recommend venturing outdoors. Even though it is referred to as an LAX hotel, no shuttle ever came to the airport during my 30 minutes of waiting. This hotel is highly overrated.

First room we checked into, my sock feet got wet from the carpet. The reason became apparent when we tried to flush the toilet and it overflowed into the bedroom... yuck. A replacement room was offered and accepted. The bartender was also the waiter and apparently also the chef. Good thing the place wasn't crowded. This is an airport hotel (note the LAX in the name) so expect some jet noise, and the street traffic is pretty loud too.
