| The location of this hotel is perfect not only because it is only about 30 minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, and the Mall of America, but also because the city of White bear is beautiful and so is the lake (White Bear Lake) which is only about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the hotel. From the moment we got there the hotel staff was very friendly and catered to our every need. We will make it a point to visit this fabulous hotel again in the future.

| This was a great hotel to stay at. It is very easy to get to and not far from local attractions. Only thing I would recommend to those who like to sleep in, put your Do Not Distrub sign out. The housekeeping tried coming into the room at 7:30 a.m.! I found this very rude when check out time is Noon.

| We were pleasantly surprised at how nice a hotel we got for the price. The pool is a good size and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small and the free breakfast was the typical high-carb stuff but everything else was great. White Bear Lake is only four blocks away and is worth a visit. It was only a 15 or 20 minute highway trip to either twin cities' downtown. A nice place to stay.

| A nice place, not particularly fancy, but the staff was helpful and friendly. The room was for the most part comfortable. The bed we had, while not exactly uncomfortable was not the best either. All in all however I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Comfortable and a good value. The staff really made a difference.

| First of all--I loved this town! Quaint with cute shops and restaurants and a wonderful lake with great parks. I would move here in a minute if it didn't get all the snow in the winter! We used two rooms--the whirlpool suite reserved through the hotel and a regular room reserved by Expedia. We got a great rate on the Expedia room by the way & everything went well. The whirlpool suite was awesome--huge with a dining room table, couch, desk and fireplace. The bed was a four poster but not very comfortable-I think that we're spoiled with our mattress at home. The whirlpool was very large and perfect for two. It was nice having the fireplace lit all night. This was really a nice room and we have stayed all over the world. When we arrived it was not cleaned well and management was very apologetic and handled the problem promptly. The smaller room was small by regular hotel standards but good enough for 4 college kids especially with the fact that we had plenty of room for gathering the group together either in our room to play games or down by the pool or at a table in the atrium. Breakfast was great with homemade waffles that you make yourself. A nice hotel with possibilities of getting a great price in a wonderful little town.

| As college students my boyfriend and I wanted to get away for spring break but we couldn't afford to go very far. A trip to the Twin Cities was what we came up with. The location of this motel was great being away from the downtown Minneapolis/St. Paul busyness and high prices, but was still an easy 20-30 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to go: Mall of America, the Science Museum, downtown, and shopping. Very nice clean rooms, and expedia got us a great price. Can't wait to go back!

| This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was superb! It was very clean with a terrific view of the indoor pool and the staff was extremely helpful. I wish every city had a hotel as nice as this one for the same nice price. A most stay!

| This hotel needs some updating, but the price was right. It had the basics, which is all we needed. We got a smoking room, even though we requested non-smoking, as we were there over a holiday and requests made on Expedia are not guaranteed (which it states when you are making your reservation). That may have skewed our attitude a little. If you are looking for no frills at a good price this hotel was just that.

| Great! Continental breakfast was great (hardboiled eggs would have been a nice addition). Stayed there with my wife, my toddler, and my infant. High speed wireless internet was good. McDonald's next door was also convenient. Within nice walking distance to downtown White Bear Lake and the Lake itself.

| I found the beds so comfortable, that they were a godsend when I returned from the Mall of America to take a little nap. I walked around so much that it was nice to come back and have a place to relax so comfortably. The indoor pool was really nice, and if I weren't on a business trip and had the kids along, they would have really enjoyed having that to enjoy while in White Bear. It would be a great hotel for a family stay as well as a business trip. Thanks!Lori Redetzke

| Kids Kids Kids, running screaming hollering at all hours of the night and day. Was unable to use swimming pool, hot tub, or even a table or chair near pool area. Stacks of pizza boxes and garbage near trash. No one in managment seemed to have any control of anything. Was very disappointed and will not go back. Will be willing to pay much more for enjoyable weekend. When checked out and tired to complain fell on deaf ears. Don't stay here, Unless you just want to turn your kids loose and don't want to be responsible for them.

| I prefer this hotel to the others in close proximity because it has a bar and a VERY good restaurant on site. It is also reasonably close to other dining options and a mall. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Not fancy, but functional.

| This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Great amenities, clean and spacious accomodations, a comfortable atmosphere, and a great on-site restaurant. The surrounding town is a bit small, but a bit quaint I'm sure. Close and easy access to Minneapolis/St.Paul though, so if you want a place near the city but not in the city, this is probably the perfect place. If you require high speed internet access though, it is available, only in select rooms. They do have a wireless network available in all rooms, but if you don't have a wireless card it really is no help. The continental complimentary breakfast is average, but as it notes...it is complimentary! As noted before the on-site restaurant surpasses many hotel restaurants. Great food and good service!
