We enjoyed the surrounding gardens and paths. The room was large and beds very comfortable, but the 2 large stains on the carpet were a problem and unexpected in a hotel like this.

The Japanese style streams, ponds, greenery, sculptures and fountains are the draw here. It is a unique, idyllic and peaceful setting. The pool side restaurant provides a nice atmosphere for dining although the food is rather mediocre. The room was spacious and very unusual in its decor - probably taking from the Trader Vic's theme. Carpeting on tile floors, bamboo-esque lamps. Overall the decor was a bit dated but worked with the tropical theme. Felt almost luck a beach resort hotel room.

We stayed at Dinah's due to its central location in the Bay Area. The theme suites are fun and very comfy. Trader Vic's has a great bar also! The hotel staff was very polite and hospitable -the stay was very enjoyable.

This hotel looks like the 1960's, but the gardens are lovely, the rooms very clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms up-to-date.Breakfast by the pool was nice but the food was mediocre. Trader Vic's is the same as always.

The lobby looks newly refurbished but our room was vintage 1980. The shower head was fine for anyone 5'6" or under and the room was just plain ugly. It was really disappointing. Definitely not worthy of the 3 1/2 star rating.

Rooms and maid service was terrific, rooms were good size and overlooked a garden, pond with ducks and waterfall. Front desk could be a little friendlier. I highly recommend it and will stay there next time.

Check-in and out was quick and easy. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bath area, which came with only a shower, was otherwise well appointed. The grounds the hotel is located on are beautiful. I enjoyed Sunday breakfast outdoors by the pool area.I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet location, friendly staff, helpful management, large rooms, and really comfortable furnishings. The cleanliness of the rooms and facility in general were the best I've seen. Garden atmosphere was very refreshing.

We will stay again as it was very peaceful and the room was large and spacious. We liked the wet bar, and the fruit provided each day.
