Walking distance to major tourist attractions in town. Good hotel staff. Internet service can be improved. Whole hotel has only one free walk up internet station.

Surprising that the Quebec City government allowed such an abomination in architecture to be constructed so close to the historical part of town. But the views from inside are wonderful and the hotel service is excellent all around. The revolving restaurant was surprisingly very good in addition to providing panoramic views of the city. Main shortcoming is there seems to be a shortage of staff. The line to the reception is allowed to get too long and one often has to wait for the concierge. In addition, while it's dog-friendliness brought me there to begin with, that is the downside as well. I brought a small dog with me and he was charged at by a huge German shepherd whose owner barely managed to control his dog in time. I doubt I would return to this hotel because I don't expect to bring my dog with me next time I go to Quebec. Although this hotel did a great job, there are many choices in the city and I don't really want to have big, aggressive dogs around me.

Comfortable, clean, we had the best view from floor 23. Although we don't have pets, we were impressed by room service for pets: placed on the floor in the room in front of ours there was a plate with dog food and a bottle of "Evian" for the hound, please!, can't the dog drink tap water. Beautiful revolving restaurant on top floor. I will go back, next time with a pet, of course!!

Overall we were very pleased with this hotel. It was a good value for the price. The location is good (near the main attractions and plenty of shops and eateries within a few blocks). My seven year old son wished that their pool was indoors (I do shake my head wondering about the utility of an outdoor pool in Quebec - just how much can it be used throughout the year?). Good hotel, good location & at a good price - so what else do you want?

The location of this hotel is good, but when I return to Quebec City I'll more likely check out one of the smaller botique hotels.

Hotel is nicely located just a mnt from the Old City and all gift shops and restaraunts. Parking is pricy - $20.00 a day. However, there's $5 parking a minute of walk from the hotel.Very clean and comfortable.
