| The hotel was very nice, and the staff was very attentive and helpful, didn't mind helping with local info. The room was a little nosiey from traffic (next to free way) and the room next door sounded like romper room. The room service was fast, and the view was nice. Would stay there again. Great night life in the casino too!

| The rooms are a bit outdated, the carpets especially could use a makeover. Overall, it was a good hotel for kids (I had a 5-yr old and an 8-month old). The older one had fun on the indoor pool (best feature, IMHO) and the arcade. I like it since it's not in the downtown area so it's not very crowded. The buffet is excellent! If going to Reno area, this is my preferred hotel to stay at.

| I checked into the hotel really late and was really tired but the minute I walked into the lobby I knew I picked a great hotel. The front desk clerk was really friendly and when I asked for a fridge in my room she saw to it immediately in fact the refrigerater made it to my room before I did. The rooms were nice and well kept. The pool was my favorite part, my children loved it. They have shallow bubble pools that are great for kids and an area with tables for a meal or snack plus it is indoors and has plenty of lounge chairs.

| We stood in line for more than a half an hour only to be told that we had to go to another desk and check in, although this is where the valet parking attendant directed us to go. When we got into the second line although there was only one person in line ahead of us the process still took almost twenty minutes. My party was extremly dissatisfied and will not be staying in this hotel again. Although the location of the hotel was only about five minutes away from the strip by car there are certainly more desirable locations to stay in reno. In short I would not recomend this hotel

| Nugget was neat and clean. Had asked for a non-smoking room, which we did not receive, or review would have been higher. Hotel air quality system could be upgraded, smokers were abundant and air quality suffered. Would be nice if they could adopt a separate area for non-smokers. Also asked for an additional pillow and was told none were available. Sunday night buffet at the hotel was great, both food and service.

| I chose this hotel because I noticed that a lot of airline personnel use it. They have an excellent shuttle service to the nearby Reno airport. The front desk gave me what was supposed to be a great room with a view. The room was on the corner of the hotel with a great view, but over the busy freeway. It was a noisy night, but then I prefer peace and quiet to views.

| I was sadened to find that house keeping rushed through the cleaning process and did not even vacuum the room or take time to make the bed. Upon checking out my daughter found things around the bed which did not belong to us indicating that the room was not cleaned well before we checked in. I never had this experience before I am usually satisfied with the service.

| We had two smoking rooms in the Courtyard. Our room was on the 5th floor in a corner with a balcony overlooking city and landscape to the north. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was excellent!! You have to go outside to get to the casino but it is a very short walk and you need it if you go to the buffet. The rooms could have a few more pillows and towels. They have fresh coffee downstairs in the morning. Overall a very satisfying staty.

| I chose this hotel over another hotel of the same price. However, the next morning after our stay, I learned that this hotel charges an additional resort fee to cover the use of the spa and pool, etc. Even though I did not use the pool or the spa, I was told everyone has to pay the fee. If everyone has to pay it, I think it should be charged up front and quoted on Expedia. Then I could have decided whether to stay at the Nugget or at another hotel of a lower or equal price.

| I was in Reno with my boyfriend on a business convention. The casino was great, tons of different games. There were many places to eat, I liked the deli down stairs by the sports book. The rooms could use some updating, they were kinda ugly, but very very comfortable. I think its the best hotel in Reno that I have been to yet. My boyfriend said that the convention area was nice too. We will be back next year, and we plan to stay there again.

| We went to Reno to see a concert. I thought staying at a casino would be fun. The room was minimal at best. Boring casino and not such good food. There were many hotels near the casinos that looked much better and also have a better reputation for cleanliness and comfort. I would rate this hotel less than a cheap roadside motel.

| We will never stay here again. Our room was right next to the elevator, which we heard all night long. Along with our neighbors through the thin walls at 2:00 AM. Someone called our room at 4:00, then hung up. The only thing we enjoyed about the hotel was one of the restaurants. Good food and service, but we could have gone to a restaurant if we wanted that.

They put us right next to the freeway and it was very noisy... not just from the freeway but we can hear the people next door and above us. For a few more dollars we could have stay at a much more comfortable hotel. I would never stay there again and would not recommend it even if it might save you a few bucks.
