| The room we were in and several other rooms in the courtyard area are next to a loading dock and much loud noise goes on all night long. We complained and found out the hotel has been aware of the problem for years and chose to do nothing. Also there was a cigarette but crushed out on the steps of the stairway to the pool area when we arrived, it was still there when we left 6 days later. Would never stay there again!

| We have relatives staying at 3 different hotels while in Vegas. The other 2 were on the strip. We had just as good accomidations as they had for less price. Shuttle was free to the strip and food in our hotel was very good and resonably priced compared to the food on the strip.

| After reading some reviews here, I wasn't sure what I'd find. Well, it's certainly a no frills type place, but my stay was very enjoyable. If you're looking for shows, go down the Strip...for gaming, this casino has everything you need. There are several restaurants, reasonably priced. All in all, a very pleasant experience. The staff was very attentive and the casino workers were very friendly.

| Room not comfortable. Stayed in the courtyard. Placed in a room at end of hall by vending machines and salon. Very noisy!!!!!!!!! The rate was great, but the overall experience wasn't. We went to the Irish Pub and sat at the bar for 20 minutes waiting to have our order taken and we were ignored. It wasn't even busy. Will not likely stay there again unless absolutely necessary.

| Rooms are in bad condition. In fact when we arrived, the room we reserved was not available. They offered room with two beds when we reserved room with the king bed. The bottom of the bathtub, felt like I was going to fall through the floor. Fixtures are in very bad condition. In the room the paint is peeling off the celing and redy to fall off. Very cold feeling in the room, no comfort. Also hidden charges that are not told about untill the check out, like service charge after I already paid tax/service fees. Smells funny in the hallway too. Staff is nice, but the hotel it self is really bad. For the price I paid, this is ripoff. I could have much better place to stay for this price.

| If one goes to Las Vegas to gamble and stays 6 to 7 hours in his room per night, The Palace Station is the place to stay; Although, we had a room with shower only, it was overall very confortable. I like a firm bed, which is what i got. My only complain would be the indications 9maps on wall), which i would do different. It's a labyrinth!!I would call each allay by the name of a famous train station...LESS CONFUSING

| The hotel and casino were great except for the last night. Our shower had a plumbing problem and we were awoken at a very early hour repeatly by security, housekeeping, and service men. We were not offered ANY compensation for this incredable inconvience. The hotel should have made an effort to at least apologise.

| We've been to Las Vegas six times now and have stayed at several area hotels. I have to say, if you are into a more laid-back experience in a friendly, clean place at an affordable (cheap by my New York standards) price, then Palace Station is it.This is just a little off The Strip. You need a rental car in Vegas anyway because everything is so spread out, so that's not a problem. The restaurants are good and low-priced with a variety of dishes. My wife especially likes the Cafe. I've had good luck in the casino and sports book. The Strip is where the heavy drinkers and tourists go, but I don't want to walk out my room door and be in a mall. Palace Station is much more relaxing. Plus they have a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. We go in December and January and swim every day. This place is worth the price and without hassle.

| The only bad thing I have to say about the hotel was that our rooms window was facing a wall, not much of a view. I figured since we booked the room a couple months in advance we might get something with at least some sort of view but, wit the *HUGE* CES convention in town, we were lucky our room was there. Other hotels we overbooked, so I really can't complain. Clean room, maids took great care of it, very reasonable priced food as low as $2.99 for breakfast (good too!) and a decent casino, Irish pub .... all in all, good experience. I'd go there again.

| Knowing the Palace Station Hotel only had a two star rating on the Expedia website, I wasn't expecting great things, just for it to be clean. It was much more. We were pleased. The staff was very cordial and helpful at all times. The hotel was not fancy like the ones on the strip but was tastefully decorated and well maintained. At the time we booked our trip on Expedia, there was only Garden rooms available. The Garden rooms section is only two floors high and separated from the Tower rooms. We only had one complaint about the Garden rooms. There was no public elevator to the second floor Garden rooms. This made it difficult getting to a second floor room with luggage. The Palace Station's shuttle service for the airport and the strip was fanstatic. Saved us money by not having to use cabs all the time. We'd definitely stay at the Palace Station again.

| In Vegas, you're only at your hotel to eat and sleep, so why pay on-the-strip prices when you can get the same kind of service and comfort off-the-strip and a free shuttle to it? The food was great, my room was clean, and the heated pool and jacuzzi were much appreciated.

| This place has really gone downhill in the last few years. It used to be one of our (wife and myself) favorite places to visit in Vegas. I pre paid my stay last week (12/29/04) and was suprised at the front desk when they told me they were going to charge another 4.95 per night for "other services" (exercise room, covered parking, telephone in room). This is some marketing guys scam dream. They tack on this phony charge rather than just raising their rates. I hope it is worth it to them to lose me as a customer and anyone else I can steer away from this clip joint. (By the way, the place is falling apart at the seams)Additionally, I am not very happy with Expedia accepting pre-payment for places like this that rip you off once you show up. I would prefer that they drop them as partners.

The youngman found me a much better location (and room) and sent a bellman for my bags. The only drawback is: The shuttle to the Strip stops running at 11:30 P.M. I always had to pay at least $12.00 to get back to the hotel.
