| Before we left for this vacation, several people told us to change our hotel. We are so happy we did not listen to them! Every thing from beginning to end was excellent. Check-in was easy. They had a special while we were there and we received coupons for breakfast every morning. The entire resort was clean, service was great, everyone was helpful and friendly. It is a short walk to the beach where towels and chairs await you. The bar and restaurant was fine. We are going back in October. We loved it. We went to almost every hotel there and our heart always returned to the Mill due to the homey feeling we had. It was at an excellent location.

| My fiance and I recently stayed at The Mill. My parents have been going there for years and recomended we try it out. We were very impressed! Restaurants are just a short walk, and so is the beautiful beach. (Be sure to go to Smokey Joe's. It's about a ten minute walk from the hotel, but its a great restaurant. If you order the ribs, dont get two orders! If there are only two of you, you can split it.. they give you 3 racks! But they are the best. Also try their "Happy Tourist" drink, it was great. )The staff was very friendly, especially the bartenders, and also the DJ. They have happy hour every night from 5-7 with 2 for one drinks, which was great! I couldnt believe how much more we would have spent on a 5 star hotel, when this hotel is just perfect if you are not planning on spending much time in the hotel, but just want to relax on the beach and drink, drink, drink.

| The hotel is very nice, open lay-out, clean and kid friendly pools. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The only remark I would like to make is that the rooms are very noisy. Due to connecting doors, you get the feeling that your neighboring travelers are practically in your room. I can say that I would recommend this hotel, but to keep in mind the above remark. If you want peace and quite in your room (traveling with younger kids) it might not be the place for you.

| My husband and I have stayed at the Mill twice in the past 2 1/2 years. It's not a fancy hotel and it is a 3 to 5 minute walk to the beach. But if you're like us and simply need the hotel to sleep and shower in between days spent out on the beach and on the town, it is a great bargain. Rooms are generally clean, though our room on the most recent trip was a little musty. Showers work well and there is plenty of space. An economical alternative to the beachfront highrise hotels.

| This hotel is great for the price. It was as I expected it to be. The beach is across the street and a little bit of a walk, but not bad. The hotel itself, was clean and most of the staff was nice. We had a problem with our AC and they were not that accomadating. We also had a couple of roaches, but with the weather, maybe that is expected. ?? We had the studio room, with a full kitchen. Bring your own coffee filters though, and make sure you do your dishes (but they don't supply dish detergent) there was a poster saying they would charge $150 if you left any dirty dishes or not put away. They will get you anyway they can, $3 for a dixie cup of not-so-great coffee, or $50 lost key fee, etc. The pool is nice, the grounds are clean and overall - not a bad experience. We will stay someplace else next time, but if you are on a budget and want to go to this beautiful island, I would recommend The Mill, just don't expect luxury.

| overall, we were not satisfied with the Mill Resort. It has a good location, and the room is comfortable for the price. However, the staff was not very helpful. We asked them for help placing international phone calls and many times they did nothing to help us or explain how the phone system works. They asked us to put up a large deposit when we were checking in, which caught us off guard. The maids didnt change the sheets once while we were there (ten days) and clean towels were hard to come by. The hotel has a very nice pool and offers nightly entertainment. For the price I would say it is mediocre. We spent most of our time on the beach and ate at the restaurants at the other hotels. The staff and maid service left something to be desired.

| Hotel was great for the money, very clean, and the staff was extremely freindly as well. The Mill is a great alternative to higher priced stuffy resorts. The room was very comfortable and the hotel has a great happy hour. However, be wary of "vacation planners", they only want to sell you a timeshare and are very persistant/annoying. overall this place is great, Aruba is a beautiful quaint little island. I will be going back.

The beach and bus stop are right accross the street+ ATM. Staying at the Mill allowed us to stay a couple more nights in Aruba and it was definately worth it. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. You will save $ and the hotel is nice.

| Nice hotel, had to walk to beach but for money a good value. Entertainment at the pool was great. We did find with only one place to eat on site it did have a limited varity of choices. The only dowmn side to this hotel was that the people at the front desk were not a lot of help in explaining what was open and available in the area. A lot of the staff(front desk) didn't have a great grasp of english so we think that maybe they didn't always understand what we were asking them. We would stay at this hotel again. Can't beat the price point .

| We just stayed one night, as planned. Used hotel elevator to get luggage to 2nd floor room upon arrival, but had to carry it down the steps the next morning because the elevator was down. (It sounded like it was on its last legs when we used it the night before). Room was nicely decorated; breakfast was very good as well as the service. We'd definitely stay there again, but would request a first floor room. Our room had complete housekeeping facilities. Pool area & grounds were attractive & well maintained.

| The Mill is "low-rise" hotel in the "high-rise" section in the Palm Beach area. It is worth the five minutes it takes to walk across the street to the beach. Trust me, you will wait that long for an elevator in a high-rise! The Mill does not have the traffic that the other hotels have though it has many of the same ammenties.

| My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary in November and we were very impressed by the grounds. The hotel is so Aruba- the colors, the open lobby, the wonderful service. We obviously stayed here for the great price, which is very cheap compared to most of the hotels on the island. The room was beyond clean, and the beds were pretty comfortable as well. | We have been to Aruba twice now. First time we stayed at an all inclusive resort on the beach, this time at the Mill (quick walk to the beach). I would go back to the Mill in a heartbeat. We spent the week diving, not eating! However, when done it was in quick walking distance to many great places to eat and of various price ranges. The pool and other features were great for us. Low key, but fun. Something happening pool side every night!

| This hotel was a HUGE dissapointment. Upon our arrival, we found the room was infested with mosquitos. It reeked of mildew and the air conditioner was a joke. Nothing had been wiped down from the previous inhabitants and the and there was a large accumulation of dead mosqitoes on the floor that had obviously been there for quite some time. The service is terrible, it takes 15+ minutes just to talk to someone. We left just as quickly as we got there and checked into another hotel across the street.

| I have stayed at the Mill about six times. It is a reasonably priced hotel for Palm Beach. The rooms are well maintained and very clean. The rooms also contain cooking facilities. The restaurant, bar and pool are a nice attraction. The staff is also attentive and helpful. The draw back is that it is across the street from the beach (e.g., about a 5 minute walk). If you don't mind this inconveniece you can save a considerable amount of money than by staying at much more expensive hotels.

| We were initially imressed with the room but little problems started popping up. The hot water heater was broken, so no hot water. To be fair, they fixed the problem in about 48 hours after we made them aware of it. Not bad considering they had to replace the whole hot water heater. We still only had hot water on our last day. Also, the thermostat in the room was not working so the A/C was on or off, no temp regulation. Also, to be fair, they fixed this same day they were made aware of it. The restaurant was good, not great, the drinks at the bar were overpriced except at happy hour.
