| The hotel was dark and run down looking. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked. However, the smell of cigarette smoke was everywhere even though we were in a non-smoking room. The washroom was very nice looking and clean but the shower gave sprays of hot or cold water without warning. Overall, it was an alright place to stay for a few days as long as you don't plan to spend any time in the room when not sleeping.

| The hotel personel are friendly and helpful. The inn by itself shows the history of the whole town. It is not modern, like going back in time.

| Dark rooms with very poor lighting. dark pine covered walls with half wallpaper out of the 50's - unfriendly staff who are tired of tourtists early in the season and no internet connection.

| The hotel is old but gives the feeling of Alaska. A stuffed Musk Ox in the lobby and a saloon. It is a big place and can have lots of noise. Don't go if you are looking for luxury. Go if you have a sense of adventure and don't want to stay in a cruise ship hotel.

| This hotel is not kept up very well at all the carpets are dirty and coming up in the hall ways. Our room had plumbing problems we could not even get a good shower. The beds have very thin matresses making them very uncomfortable. the one entrance is not central so you have to walk a maze of halls to get to your room. I would never stay in this hotel again.

| It is an older hotel. The staff is inexperienced. It smells like smoke from the lounge. Very dark and dingy. Carpets are filthy. Rooms small and pillows were so lumpy that we went out and bought new ones. Walls are paper thin. Noise from customers walking down the hall. Overall, the pictures are not a representation of the hotel at all. Would NEVER stay here again.
